Creating disruptive cloud BackBlaze backups

It seems that the last CC removes such content from the first invisible folder on the top level of the HD. On my system, it's be a folder created by the BackBlaze backup service.

Why on Earth is CC remove contained in a record, he has not created? Note that it seems to affect ANY first folder, not only the blaze back, so if you have any installation it can mess with that as well.

    I have a problem after Adobe Revel was closed and I was pushed to the solution of creative Cloud with free trial 1 year.

    My promary goal is to have the cloud storage solution and nice and simple sharing albums with family (possibility to download the originals).

    Revel did this perfectly.

    With Lightromm CC, I have a few challenges since it is not that simple and easy to use on a personal basis (create albums, download).

    As far as I understand it comes to solution of ore to edit photos rather than store & share.

    There is an option of sharing with the mobile application mobile of Lightroom, but it does not backup and only give you access to preview, right?

    A solution similar to Adobe Revel?

    How can I access this feature?

    There is not (yet) you cannot use it. Only way to use the creative cloud as backup is to set up a publication record (or do it manually) in your folder of creative cloud on your original computer and export it so they get synchronized.

  • Recommendation of a cloud-based backup?

    For the last year and a half, I used IDrive and it was great. Unfortunately, IDrive recently updated its software and doing about it broke. Now, any attempt to backup is filled by default. I went back with people from support tech IDrive three times and each time they have been unable to solve the problem. For me, it seems that the underlying cause is file names Mac, which seems to indicate that they changed their software, their servers, or both. Nevertheless, I can't continue to waste a precious time and potential disaster risk by relying on a system that is no longer reliable.

    That said, I'm looking for a new backup based on a cloud solution that is cheap, reliable, and Mac OS X is compatible, especially when it comes to names of files. I am reviewing CrashPlan and Carbonite, but I'm open to other companies. I'd like to hear other Mac users who are currently using a cloud computing backup solution they love. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I used iDrive for awhile, it still works as before, namely correctly.

  • Auto sleep mode will disrupt a current backup procedure?

    Whenever I run a computer backup program, I find that the backup is never completed.  I wonder if the computer auto sleep mode disrupts the ongoing backup process.

    I was getting the same problem and changed the backup parameters does not not not libraries. After I installed Windows 7 I had removed all default libraries and replace them with symbolic links to my NAS drive that is be the same drive as my backup was put in place to save on.

    Once, I removed the libraries from the list of the items to back up, it worked.

    Windows backs up only the files that are changed after a recent backup of windows process. This kind of backup is called incremental backup where only the changed files are saved.

    The full backup is a combination of incremental backup as well as the changes made to the computer after the incremental backup.

    When planning a backup via the wizard, the last step shows the RMAN script, the wizard has generated for you. Have you tried clicking "Edit Script RMAN" and delete the word "cascade" of the generated script?

    I run backups using scripts stored in the recovery catalog so I do not use the Backup Wizard clicks, but it not lead to a differential incremental backup if you edit the script?

    My question concerns the program backup and restore in Windows 7. I use an external hard drive to save the backup of my sysem files (using the Windows settings recommended in the program). If the backup seems to be working - I get no error message, more disk space is taken up on my external hard drive and the program says that the backup is complete - I have noticed that the created file (that I could be my system restore of) is indicated as 0 bytes in size.  My hunch is that this file is not a backup properly created, or else it would show a real file size. This could be the cause of this problem? If it is relevant, I use a HP G60 laptop. Any info on this would be appreciated. I just want to ensure that I have a backup properly created of my files.

    While it is a good idea to check your backup job, your method is likely to lead astray you. The Windows 7 backup process creates a number of files and folders on your backup media, which are largely hidden from view. To confirm that your backup was successful you should restore examples of files to a different location where used to reside. This will really tell you if you could restore the files in a crisis.

    My CC app will update itself and it fails to 2%. This has happened 3 weeks ago and I need help Adobe to solve the problem. Here, I'm new and I don't know what to do. None of the suggestions of work...

    For 3 days now, typekit is not accessible more on my computer. Support via Chat was not able to help as there is an complete Installer for version 3.8.0.310 yet.

    The installation program is not available on prodesigntools.com

    None of the solutions online, the staff refers is helping.

    My workaround until now solutions:

    1. exit the creative cloud App. Unplug the cable or wifi network (having all the files and closed services that are used on the network). Open again the creative cloud App. Connect the cable network/wifi. Open project you with typekit fonts in the background application (here InDesign). | It takes a few seconds, but typekit fonts will synchronize even if you do not have access through the desktop creative cloud application.

    2. When you have time machine activated | Warning this may be prohibited by Adobe: looking for a software that can display the hidden files and folders and display the files/folders (I Path Finder or search of HideSwitch). Open the hidden folder: / Users/USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync/plugins/livetype/.r/ and enter time machine until the day where worked typekit. You will see many files with a point forward, followed by 5 numbers and with the extension of OTF (exemple.14541.otf). Get those (still hidden) files in the folder 'Fonts in the Document' (can be any folder) next to your project. Remove the first point for each of these files (ex.: 14541.otf). Now you have a file of open type of work that you can use.

    3. When you have Font Explorer 4 (may also work with version 5) | Warning this may be prohibited by Adobe: looking for a software that can display the hidden files and folders and display the files/folders (I Path Finder or search of HideSwitch). You also have the fonts in typekit synchronized (if you want to avoid having access to blocked in the future typekit fonts). Open FEX and search in a category of fonts enabled in the left sidebar. Typekit fonts should be visible. Select these fonts, and drag them to any folder. Usually, a ZIP file will be created. Unzip the file and so the system can see the hidden files. You will see many files with a point forward, followed by 5 numbers and with the extension of OTF (exemple.14541.otf). Remove the first point for each of these files (ex.: 14541.otf). Now you have a file open from the work of typekit, which you can use.

    Sorry Adobe, but if you are not able to solve the problem, we must become 'creative' for the 'cloud' works again!

    Hello, I have the subscription of the CC of the photograph and use Photoshop a lot.  I needed to make a few quick settings a clip video and discovered that I could do this easily in Lightroom.  I pulled up to Lightroom for the first time and updated.  He'll do anything I want!

    I followed the instructions in "Restore default Preferences" and remove "Lightroom 5 Preferences.agprefs.  I restarted my PC, but Cloud Creative still will not start, tried to install a updated and always stops in the same place.

    It's probably not supposed to be rocket science, but I am confused.  I'll be very grateful for some advice on this.

    I did a Google search on 'creative Office Cloud impossible to update' and found this link:

    Uninstall does not work because he says that the soft CC has been busy.  I started Windows 7 Mode safe and was properly run uninstall from there.  Then I installed the creative Cloud desktop application and updated all my applications of CC.

  • Creating password cloud not recognized

    The Creative Cloud Application Manager icon in the menu at the top of my Mac bar disappeared. The old Adobe CS Update icon still exists, so I clicked on that. Place comes a message saying I need to update my applications of Cloud Creative Manager, which starts by itself. Unfortunately it no longer recognizes my password. So, I go to the web page of creative cloud, try to connect and get the alert to change my password. Think it has something to do with the security breach, I create a new password and after confirmation by e-mail, I am able to connect. Large. So I try to update the application Cloud Creative Manager, but it still does not recognize my password. I tried several times, but no luck. What to do?

    Davidp158 password asked during the installation process is for an administrator account.  If you enter the same password that you use to connect to your computer, you should be able to proceed with the installation.

    Once installation is complete you will then be given the option to connect to your creative cloud membership.
