• Executable file cannot create files

  I created a VI that creates files in its operation. It downloads files via FTP and also creates a config file, if it does not already exist.

  When I ran the VI without building in an application everything has worked well. Now that I have built in an application, he cannot create any files at all for some reason any.

  I am running XP, not vista, so it's not like I need to run it as an administrator or something. I'm puzzled. I hope that I have adequately described the behavior of this problem for you guys.

  before installing all the drivers (unnecessary):

  Have you checked all the wires of the error? Especially in the creation of your program file section? All messages of that?

  Can you show your code (a light at least version)? You can replicate the problem with an example vi?

  I'm doing a recovery disc for my Compaq laptop. It has Vista OS.  I use the recovery disc creation program.  The program starts and shows that it is creating files.  When the indicator progress says 50%, the program seems to stop, and after a few minutes, I get a message say that the process is canceled.  What can I do to create a recovery disk?

  Create a set of recovery disks operating system

  HP Recovery Manager to create a personal set of recovery disks. When you select the recovery disc creation process, the HP Recovery Manager examines the PC and determines how many virgins DVD discs will be necessary.   After all, the recovery disks are created, label the disks and store them in a safe place. If the recovery disks fail when creating or damaged, you can order replacement of HP recovery disks.

  It seems that we should check for the primary database log files cross.

  RMAN > overlap archivelog all;

  This then check out a new attempt of physical creation process... I will update the discussion with the results... (Hope that would solve the problem).

  I'm pretty new in the ThinApp world and I try to thin app, an app that creates a worksheet excel when you open a form, and then bed of this worksheet to do some calculations. The problem is when the form is created, it errors saying that it can find the created file. The file is used in the calculations for the portion of the calculator application does nothing. I see the file being created in the % drive_c%/AppLocationDir/Reasources/Temp, is - it here the part of the insulation of the ini file comes into play?

  Sorry will close it. Found the underlying problem. Had to delete and recreate the structure of folders inside visual Studio. Rebuilt and Rethinapped and after it worked well. Thanks for the suggestions!

  If you use VixMntapi to remove a snapshot engine, it would work - of course, you should be aware that you are writing, beyond the control of the guest OS, it's like taking the disk and insert it into another machine.

  So, write down some complications:

  • If there is no storage / system in the comments files filter drivers, they will not be aware of these changes - so they can react to such changes (VSS, backup etc. software.). Another example, it is no longer A / V protection for these "off-line" Scripture or at least protection is different from that provided by the guest operating system.

  • If NTFS versions do not match, some versions of Windows will try to upgrade the new volume NTFS. This may or may not be what you want - even can apply to other file systems.
