  I use Dreamweaver CS5 on my iMac.

  I'm trying to insert an flv file into a page. Something I've done successfully in the past with other versions of Dreamweaver.

  The video shows well in 'live view', but when I try to preview in a browser (Safari and Firefox), I get this:

  
  The flv file was encoded with Adobe media encoder, and has always worked well in the past.
  I even opened a new document in Dreamweaver with nothing in it, excepet the flv movie inserted, with the same results.
  Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Given all that the cause is not clear yet, right now, for some reason MY sites with Thom flv file work like a charm (and player shows!), namely in my two versions: first with original Thom and other source code by inserting this file flv as a 'stand alone '!

  Please someone help me.

  I have 2 Web pages, we're with 12 columns based on the fluid grid and another without fluid grid in function.

  Both are open in the same site in Dreamweaver CC 2014.

  I want to resize/change my fluid div column grid in design mode.

  But I m not getting is not the menu appropriate (see-> Code and design)

  Why the problem happening?

  If my page no fluid is active to end edit I get the 'view '->' Code and Design.

  If my fluid page is active to end edit I'm no way to 'view '->' Code and Design.

  but I think ' view '->' Code and live. "

  I can't resize my fluid div using the resize Manager.

  It's base fluid, I need 'code and design mode '.

  With the latest version of Dreamweaver CC 20141, FG authoring mode has been removed. That's why you can't see Code and Design for the FG pages but it is there for the pages not FG

• VM full Media Pool creation within the view

  I used VDI for only 3 or 4 months now in my POC. I created essentially to persistent and not persistent related Clones. However, I would like to create a pool of media relying on full virtual machines. I tried a node 4, pool full VM media and only 1 of the 4 actually worked. Well 4 virtual machines have been created, work only 1 and 3 other computers virtual I can't connect to. I'm willing to bet THAT SYSPREP does not work correctly or something similar. I know that SYSPREP runs when I use use link-clone media pools.

  SYSPREP does not during the stage of creation on a VM full media pool?

  What step am I missing? I think one hoping this is an easy solution...

  Open the vCenter client, click home, finding the administration section and then click on specification of customization Manager.   You can view, set and change the specifications here.   They in turn will appear in view to choose.

• How can I view wordpress template in Dreamweaver

  I have a few wordpress templates, but is unable to view in a browser because there is no php just index.html. How can I work around this problem and use a regular wordpress as a dreamweaver CSS page template? I do not want to load the wordpress application or database in my server so is it possible?

  my real question should have been "how to change a wordpress to a regular html page?

  by display in a browser and copy the source code into a text file and save it as.html (dot dot htm or html).  But the extra real volume should be "How can display you the file if you do not have a server?  Answer: you can't!

• FLV in Dreamweaver

  I put a FLV video in Dreamweaver using progressive download with a relative path. I tried an absolute path with the same result. Test the video of my desktop works fine, but once uploaded to the site, the video appears at all in any browser on Mac or PC. I downloaded media files (which, Halo_Skin_1.swf, html, and video). Was I forgetting something? I'm looking in video compression, but why he would play my desktop if it's wrong? Can anyone help? Please?

  Thank you all for all your help. In the end, the problem was with the host server. They didn't MIME code on the server that would allow to play a .flv file. The problem has been corrected and the video is now on the site.

• Creation of NOC views existing dashboards

  Hey guys,.

  We have a few monitors in our NOC and my management would like to see some data on these dashboards foglight.  I have built a few drag and drop dashboards that show some views of different applications.  However, they would like to see some views specifically around exchange, AD, and vmWare.  I might be able to build certain points of view, but it's hard to beat the off views of the box.  So I started to look at the exchange of views and they like quick view see you when you go to Exchange environment > Clusters and you see the summary of the Cluster.

  So with this in mind, I looked at the Design tab and found the Quick View Layout and grabbed the RefrenceId... but it seems that the view is passed a context that is not spent when I do that.   So with all that in mind, I have a few questions.

  Is there an easy way to get what I'm looking for?

  Also, I noticed that even though my resolution is high enough the quick preview window is not suitable, so the current window is quite small with a scroll instead of scaling bar to shoot to the top of the entire window... a way to change this?

  Other points of view we are interested in seeing for AD exist and vmWare but maybe if we exchange, I can understand others on my own.

  My recommendation is that you create a new dashboard and then when you are prompted for the data, select the use all data. You can then locate the exchange data and see the data available and to exchange views.

• Desktop computer and the creation of VMware View pools

  I tested VMware view in a lab and got stuck on the addition of a pool of offices.  I have followed the guide "Getting started with VMware View" and encountered no errors up to this point.  I have a Windows XP VM and cloned it to a model.  I'm on the "Parent VM" section in the "Add Desktop" Wizard, but I don't seem to have an option to choose.  It displays my data center, but it is grayed out, so there is nothing to select.  I also noticed a note in the Parent virtual machine window saying that all VM at least one software component plug-in is filtered from the list.  I went back to the VC server and created a wink, but I don't see an option in the window.  Am I missing a step somewhere?

  On the assumption that youv'e ' e ' ipconfig/release', turning the machine off and then taken the snapshot--master

  If it is just a superstition of the mine, if you have tried everything else, try turning it back on the basic machine (master), after creating the snapshot.

• How to manage data and create new textInput fields during the destruction/creation of new views?

  Basically, I need to know how to create another textInput field when I pass data from one view to the other, while recording the data that has been adopted in a first time.

  I want the user to be able to enter text into a textInput on the first view field and see on the next view, BUT I want the following view to record what the user has entered, return to the first view, then take another entry from the user and create another field textInput on the second point of view. It's like a memo pad app. The user enters a task on the first view, then he or she is able to see it on the second point of view. Then, the user must be able to navigate back to the first view and create another task which also goes to the second point of view, but does not replace the first task that was entered. My problem is to create new textInput fields as new data comes in for the second point of view. Any ideas? Perhaps textInput fields are not visual components I should use...

• Is the best tool for the creation of a review with Notes/comments-Dreamweaver user site? CMS?

  Hi all

  I am really keen to develop a site of online game and have a few questions of CMS/Wordpress/Dreamweaver, I hope that you all can help me with, I thank you in advance for your patience as I am new on the development of the site.

  I think creating a review site which will involve write me about 100 customers of online game and then getting users to download their comments/suggestions, etc. Each of the reviews would be updated monthly with his stats, performance and other details. Each review contains a review of the text, the review video and various images and screenshots. Integrate user generated content will be an important factor.

  I'm trying to confuse me with all the prep work round to ensure that I have the right tools and technology, that I need to succeed. A lot of people told me I should use Wordpress because of the nature of my site, or at least a combination of Wordpress and Dreamweaver - don't know how it works exactly. I don't want to be too dependent on Wordpress just because I want to be sure my site can be customized and cultivate and select advanted more value for visitors to my site. .. .i would like to have a members area only at some point in the near future.

  Please see below for questions running in my head:

  1. do I need a separate CMS tool?... ... who may be best to consider the nature of my site?

  2. should I use Wordpress instead?... .or a combination of Wordpress and Dreamweaver? -Why should I use a combination of the two?

  3 SEO is a factor important - does make a difference?

  4. my comments will need to be updated every month, so I will try to maximize the use of models, etc. I need to create a dynamic site in Dreamweaver or a CMS that will manage?

  5. what options are best to avoid as much as hand-coding

  Still a bit on the comment by John, WordPress sites actually pretty well on make Google providing your site contains a keyword rich, relevant and fresh content.  WP itself will be neither help nor hinder your ranking.  It's up to you to create good content, forcing the humans will be interested.

  As for the future, I think that you are on solid ground.  WP has been around for a long time and continues to dominate the market of CMS open source.  There are 58 million sites on WordPress.com alone.  This includes not everybody who self-host WP on their own areas.  Give it whirl and see where it will lead.

  I searched for the answer to this and may not yet understand why...

  I downloaded behaviors, skins, and progressive files on the server. I have the latest version of Flash player, but I still don't see the video.

  It considers that when I test it locally.

  That's a 36 MB file, I may need to compress? If so, how do I?

• Installed but Dreamweaver popup empty - what can I do?

  

  I installed Dreamweaver CS3 on a MacBook Pro. It works on another machine (of the same specification) but on my running Dreamweaver when it comes up with an empty popup - see image. The only option is to click 'OK' then, which closes the program. What can I do to get it working?

  Nothing is broken when his work on another system with simular set up we should be able to operate as well on this one.

  Would that he has perhaps the extra plugins installed there for Dreamweaver (or other Web development applications)?

  -If so remove these and try again. When nothing would help to get it resolved.

  Try a reinstall of the created Admin account previously.
