  Have you tried findGroups?

  You get a result set with only one entry and then just do a:

  long groupKey = groups.getLongValue("Groups.Key");

  Are there standard ways to create groups of R12.1.3. I tried looking for the standard API Oracle but do not have to find them. Is there another way of backend, we can create a group of learners. I know to create from request, but we need to loose several groups of learners. I wanted to back-end.

  You can use "Compulsory registration" If you're working with an online offer. It will automatically register all learners in a learning group.

  Hello

  I think using the RO customized to achieve this functionality would be the best solution for this because customization is going to be difficult the task ahead, its not as simple as that. Do this as follows:

  (1) create a dummy ro.
  (2) join a parent form and a form (object) with this child to select multiple groups. The child table has a field of type lookup with its research containing all valid groups of IOM.
  (3) Creaet an approval process for it with required workflows.
  (4) in the procurement of it, write your custom code to update the user group membership.

  "Group is created in settings-> Admin-> manage the catalogue presentation groups and users.
  For each access Group privileges is assigned in 'Manage privileges'.
  Now, there's a table in the schema that is created which stores the group with assigned users.
  The table was already created by someone else.
  But we know that ' users can be added to the group using the UI of the use of OBIEE settings-> Admin-> Manage presentation catalog groups and users ' directly.
  
  I just want to know by experts, what may be the reason behind the creation of the table for the same purpose to store users?

  No it's not. Just to make it clearer,

  How it works is that, once the authentication has been made by the SSO application engine, the user id is passed to the OBI and captured in the HTTP header on the web server OBI. This user id is used as an input to extract the different parameters of the external Table(as in discussion). The web group to which the user has access to is also extracted as parameters.

  After that, the system for webgroups session variable is set with the value retrieved, and so the access control is assured.

  In a summary, the authorization part must also be implemented using the external table as well. The mapping of id of the user with the role (web group) are there in the table and recovered in the same block of initialization.

  Just to mention, web groups would still be created in OBI BAU only.

  It would be rather convenient for you in view of the current implementation, you got.

  Hi, I played with the creation of a user who belongs to the Group of operators. I want this group to handle all requests for delivery. I have granted the group level privileges menu, and I can see users > manage and groups > Manage. I can research groups and get results, but when I search users, apparently Virgin. So basically, I can set up users, but can not search for them. A reflection on what parameter/authorization, I need to give this group of operators?

  To view the users, you need to do a group one admin for the Organization, that users are Member. Or in your case, add the operators of the Organization as an administrator group.

  I just install my new Iomega PX4 - 300 d and have enabled security. When I go to the users section and groups, there is no Add button to create new users or groups.

  The Add button is available in other sections and I created with success of new volumes/shares.

  I read the instructions and following the guides online without success.

  Bit of a strange request. Within our work environment, we try to limit as much as possible to Remote Desktop. However people regularly have administrator rights in order to do their job, due to some programs and restrictions works not very well.

  What I'm looking for is essentially:

  -Nobody has the rights to remote desktop, USERS in the group "Remote Desktop"

  -It is administrators - they can't have these rights

  Is this possible? My understanding is that permissions are cumulative, if for example Admin is user of remote desktop and then some. I would like to somehow separate these (whether by a GPO or other).

  Any advice or suggestions are appreciated!

  Disable a user to install anything (I used the option high on the group policy editor of windows install, but I tested it out on the account, and they could always install steam which was a MSI file)

  Disable a user to empty their recycling bin AND using the permanent delete function which allows a file deleted in order to bypass the bin (shift + delete)

  You can write a rule to achieve this where in the xStorageRule is evaluated based on any set of metadata such as dDocAuthor or dDocSecurityGroup etc., or a combination of metadata.

  I checked this with "& APP_ALIAS. ' in the group element - that's how I would use it - and the Group static 'true' name too.

  (We have a group for all applications, where the group name is the same name of the App - just to understand the call below.)

  When I use it to place a further authorization scheme with "PL/SQL function body:

  What type of authentication scheme you use? Because, according to the text of the authorization scheme aid groups will be just picked up for the authentication of the account of the APEX.

  • Group: enter a group name. Authorization succeeds if the group is activated as a dynamic group for the session (see APEX_AUTHORIZATION. ENABLE_DYNAMIC_GROUPS). If the application uses authentication to accounts Express request, this check also includes workspace groups that are granted to the user. If database authentication is used, this check also includes database roles that are granted to the user.

  I just tried "Is in the group" and had no problem to check my groups.

  BTW, in your PL/SQL code, there is no need to use the function of V, just use bind variables as syntax: APP_ALIAS

  BTW, I read somewhere that this warning can be resolved by setting the attribute of the value in the field regional settings on the user's page to create

  I built a simple service application web with jdeveloper 11.1.1.7 strategy (Wssp1.2 - 2007-Https-UsernameToken - Plain.xml) and deploy the weblogic 10.3. Everything works very well in both the client side and server.

  The client side is unable to call any method without specifying the username and password properties. The server automatically checks the user in users values define in weblogic server in the following path (summary of the areas of security > myrealm > users and groups). Hereby, the customer can access the system if he takes one of the users in this group even with the default user weblogic/weblogic.

  Question: How to limit the name to username/password check with specific usergroup?. That is, if the client mentions the name of user and password outside of the Group (even if the values are correct) the server rejects the request

  If you use the 'default' weblogic for users authentication method, you can follow these steps to set up an access group policy:

  • Connect to the weblogic administration console
  • Click on the links of deployments
  • Select your webservice
  • Click the Security tab
  • Click the sub-tab political
  • Choose your authorization provider in the menu drop-down (looks like by default)
  • Choose Add Conditions-> Group-> Type in the name of the Group
  • Finishing

  Now that the group you added should be able to invoke the web service. All other users should see something like:
