Creative cloud app not install CC Apps or update CS6 Apps
I have the CS6 Master Collection installed on my Mac. I've just updated to the new OS X Mavericks 10.9, hoping that would solve the problem, but the creative application cloud still does NOT work.
The app tells me I've updated and gives me the option of adding the CC for the Creative Suite apps, but gets maybe 42% and then gives a general error.
The pop-up error window says:
Failed installation.
Errors encountered during installation (7).
And when you click more information, all you get is the following:
Exit code: 7
Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example, the ERROR:

-0 fatal Error (s), 0 error (s)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
which tells me nothing.
I am not able to do something with creative cloud, except to update the app creative Cloud itself every day. The application of Office CC (which extends from my top menu bar) is up-to-date, but still does not work.
How can I get the app to work and update my CS6 applications and install the CC collection?

I was getting this error when I tried to update my CC apps. I would get the error that the update failed and in my logfile displays error DF024 with the message that it was impossible to move a file in the installation path and that I should change the permissions on the parent folder or try to install under an administrator account (and my connection of the user is an administrator).
Many of the suggestions I've seen online recommended to uninstall and then reinstall the software. I literally installed software today. I did not move the location of the installed files, and the app needed permission to access the folder when it installed the software (and created the folder), so none of these suggestions makes sense to me.
On a hunch, I decided to launch Adobe Creative cloud as an administrator. (Right click on the application in the start menu and select run as administrator, or, in Windows 10, select others > run as administrator.) Immediately, this solves my problem. I was able to install all my updates without any problem.
I have not seen this suggestion anywhere, but it is true that I have scanned many of the suggestions, so I may have missed. Anyway, I wanted to post this in case it helps someone else.

I could download before more photoshop and indesign... However after accidentally deleting many files on my laptop, apps would not work and was not able to uninstall it either so I was told to download creative cloud again but its does nothing after that it downloaded and I double-click it to install it...
I looked through the forums and run the cleanup tool as well as the removal of the OOBE file and the folder.
Would appreciate any help that you can give to fix this problem, and I look forward to your reply...

If your error is:
"Setup failed to initialize. File not found. ' or 'could not initialize installation. This could be due to missing files.
first of all, rename folder OOBE OOBE.old.
to find the OOBE:
Win 64 bit OS: Program Files x86\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
Win 32 bit OS: Program Files \Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
Mac os: HD > library > application support of > adobe > caps
Mac os: USER > library > application support of > adobe > OOB
If it fails or isn't the exact error you see, uninstall, clean (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and reinstall.
If you use an installation dvd:
Copy the contents of the drive in a desktop folder and install from this directory.
If you are using a mac:
1. try to create a new user account in Mac with administrator privileges.
2. connect to the new user, navigate to Mac HD > Application > utilities > Adobe Installer folder, locate products such as Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and uninstall the
3. navigate to the user library > Application Support > Adobe and Adobe put in the trash.
4. navigate to Mac HD > library > Application Support > Adobe and Adobe put in the trash.
5 restart the installation.
If everything is applicable above fails, check your Setup logs:

It is always recommended to reinstall the Cloud Creative applications after the migration. If please use cleaning tool to remove creative cloud app and reinstall it.

Update problem - need creative Cloud - can not install or uninstall the creative cloud
Updated until 2015 for CC. Found I needed InDesign CC 2014 of a plugin we use to function.
CC InDesign uninstalled and reinstalled CC 2014 2015. Now Creative Cloud says that he is missing or damaged.
I tried to reinstall, didn't work. Tried to uninstall, could not because I CC apps.
Any ideas how to make this work?

Adobe Creative cloud could not install, impossible to open or uninstall
OK now I'm frustrated. The LR Adobe kept do not install but when I wound the Installer shortcut LR is on my desk. When I clicked on the icon of the program shortcut opens as if it was completely downloaded. Same goes for the Adobe Photoshop. However, the Adobe Creative cloud could not download several times and I can't even uninstall it. I installed creative cloud on my pc two days ago, I also installed the creative cloud, Illustrator and InDesign and used without problem. Today morning, I used them and no problem. This afternoon, when I tried to open Illustrator I got an error message saying that CC is not installed, I tried to click on the CC application and got a different error (maybe something like error 6, but I didn't ' t remember). So I decided to reinstall everything. I uninstalled CC using the Adobe Creative cloud cleaning tool , now I am trying to reinstall it but the installation does not even start! It's really strange, is that now the applications work without problem, I have installed the CC application! So I also lost the fonts I downloaded...
I have Windows 8 and an annual plan of all - app...

I have the full version of CC and just did the last update and now my apps that display everything in from the Library palette that I don't have Creative Cloud installed, but I installed it. Everything else seems to work very well; synchronization of files and fonts both work. I tried to disconnect and stop creative cloud but that did not help. Any ideas? I am running Windows 8.1. Hey everybody,
I just paid for the subscription of photography for CC + Lightroom. I used the trial before, so I had downloaded and installed already CC. After paying, I opened the CC application to connect, but whenever I entered my username and password and click on 'connect' he brought me to the page "sign in". I tried a few times, using the same details that I used to log in to the adobe Web site when I made my purchase.
So I uninstalled CC, and once downloaded following the steps after the purchase. It is downloaded, I clicked on the dmg file, I've approved access, I entered my password. Tiny installation window pops up saying 'initializing' but nothing happens after that. No process, there is a tiny blue dot in the bar and it does not move. I waited an hour, nothing. When I then click 'Cancel' it does not disappear. I have to force close the installation program.
I tried everything suggested other errors (by removing the adobe Manager, using the cleaning tool), but nothing works.

Make sure that the Adobe Creative Cloud option is not listed in the control panel.
In addition, if present Remove Adobe Creative program cloud (x 86) folder > Adobe.
Adobe Application Manager and program OOBE (x 86) > Common Files > Adobe.
Whenever we try to install creative cloud, it creates new folders. So we need to ensure that they are removed.
Click on the link below and download Adobe Application Manager and install the same.

Once the installation is finished, it will create shortcut of Adobe application manager on the desktop.

Uninstalling CC and the browser used for vacuuming, refreshed before you download the latest version from the web, but all I get is a greyed on the icon in the MenuBar with no robot

After a search through this forum I found a series of things that when applied together solved the problem (I use a mac)
1. I found in Applications > Utilities folder an app called Adobe Application Manager, which I deleted manually
2. I then uninstalled creative Application of cloud
3. I then downloaded the creative cloud cleaning tool (windows and mac version found here - cleaning use of the CC tool to solve installation problems |) CC, CS3 - CS6
4. download and install the new application - MAC Manager: http://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/creativesuite/cs/mac/ApplicationManager7.0_all.dmg
PC: http://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/creativesuite/cs/win/ApplicationManager7.0_all.exe
open it and start the application, that he will then proceed to level itself - I then found the CC icon in the menu bar at the top allowing me to install apps.
