Creative Cloud Desktop installs but does not work

I installed the creative Cloud desktop application.

He ran through the fine installation.

He opened the window of creative cloud but the only thing that appears in the window of the header

is a spinning 'loading' icon. I let it run for about an hour without change.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall with the same results.

  • Creative update of cloud downloads, installs, but does not work?

    Whenever I start my computer (Mac, latest OS), I see that there are 9 available for download for Adobe CC updates. Whenever I update a single application or all, it downloads, installs but nothing is done. When getting information about apps. everything still shows as 12.0 as if it has not been updated. When I restart the computer once again, I get the message that there are 9 updates available for download. It is a never ending cycle and no matter how many times I 'Update all', will continue to download, install, but nothing really is set to date.

    I have set the permissions of the drive, remove the preferences and allowed read/write access to all files of Adobe and it still does not.

    Please navigate to ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater/1.0 and rename it to 1.0.old. Launch desktop CC and try to update again. (http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/access-hidden-user-library-files.html)

    I have an old Photoshop CS3 install, install a newish Lightroom and now I need to install the first of my Adobe ID work. I think that this may be the crux of the problem. If the Cleaner CC app worked as advertised, I could delete the old installation of Photoshop and simply use the new Photoshop CC and everything would be cool, but the CC Cleaner does not work. It seems that it works, but the problem persists. In fact, Adobe support told me via twitter that the Adobe installer fundamentally does not work on Mac migrated (new Mac when old data has been put in place backups). They called cela a conflict of BONES, but I pointed out than any other works, so there is a conflict of good enough Adobe.

    It seems to be a permissions issue, and Adobe thinks it's a permissions problem blocking VAC applet, but I fixed permissions HD and made repair disk, run Adobe CC Cleaner several times, tried to install CC in another account administrator on the machine, tried to install CC of root and all this repeated after reinstalling OS X via restart with Cmd + R , always ends with the same result: creative cloud close unexpectedly.

    They suggested that install on a clean drive, one that has not been migrated. To do this, I guess I to bring it to Apple, since I have neither a Yosemite install disc, or a drive to put a thumb

    OK, thanks for the update KBaird.  I'm curious about the results, but the option you have chosen is probably the fastest.

    In general, I recommend only migration of documents and settings and reinstall all applications directly.  Sometimes the migration can occur successfully more often if they lead difficult to solve errors regarding Adobe Creative applications.

  • Creative cloud office 'Apps' tab does not work

    I bought the license to CC a couple of days, but since installing I couldn't install/manage applications. Office CC 'Applications' tab will not open correctly only saying "download error".

    I got the CC on this computer in the past by another employer, but I uninstalled it when the project took end. I never encountered this problem with the CC of this time. I also got CS5 on this computer all the time and in the past with CS5 and CC has not caused any problems.

    I have now uninstalled and reinstalled this new CC a couple of times but the 'Apps' tab does not always work.

    If you have uninstalled but did not follow upwards with the help of the vacuum of CS then you have probably some remains that could interfere with other facilities.  If you uninstall, then use the cleaning tool, you may have better luck.

    In addition, it should have been without having to uninstall the original CC that you had with another employer.  You must only have signed out of it, and then you could connect you with another subscription thereafter.

  • Creative Cloud Desktop App (Mac) does not load

    I guess that means it loads, but this process should normally take only a few seconds, but it takes hours and days on my Mac. I have been using Google DNS (8.8.8.8) on my network because my position is subject to pollution of DNS. I tried to go back to my default DNS, but it has not changed the answer.   • Adobe Application Manager installs but does not work... "Download error, contact technical support.

    Downloaded the AAM website creative cloud, it installs and when it is running it shows this error message "error, contact Support to download.  I then downloaded MAO as a package of Adobe support.  Before installing it, I removed the previous installation of my computer.  The program is installed again, but I got the same message.  I can't download apps from the creative cloud because of this.AAMDLE.jpg

    I tried the support pages and you can't find anyone having an error like this.

    I downloaded Adobe Download Assistant and signed.  This has caused Adobe Application Manager to work allowing me to connect and download creative cloud applications.  I'm downloading the apps I need.  Thank you for your help Jeff.

  • Flash Player installs but does not work

    I've recently upgraded to Flash 11.6.602.171. I am running Windows 7 x 64 and IE 10 (32-bit edition). Installation said successefully Flash installed, but embedded Flash content does not appear on the web pages. All I see is a blank section where should appear the flash content. Still works fine before, it started just after an upgrade to the latest version. Shockwave Flash object is enabled in Internet Explorer. Go to Flash in my control panel shows that the latest version activex controls are installed. Here's what I've tried;

    • Through all installation and uninstall procedures set out on the Adobe web site. No differerence.
    • I uninstalled Flash and checked that it is uninstalled as described on the web page of Adobe Version 'find' according to the
    • Reinstall Flash and it says "Flash installed successfully."
    • Go to the page to find the Version and the Flash object is not displayed. When the page is loaded a gray area appears, then disappears, and no flash object shows. Do right click makes up the menu of the flash objects and I can access the Flash drive configuration manager, but can not display flash content.
    • I uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times and get the same results.
    • Videos YouTube work fine. Only embedded objects do not work.

    Another thing I noticed is that Silverlight video does not show as well. Move the mouse around section of the white screen where video Silverlight should be, the mouse pointer changes to the finger and I click, playback of video with audio but no video. I also noticed that aero live preview on my taskbar now shows white screens with icons instead of a real overview of the windows. I think this may be a video display problem, but have no idea as to how to proceed.

    I posted my find there. The bottom line is by uninstalling Windows update kb2670838, all my problems disappeared. Feel like lately I spend hours and hours the weekend to try to resolve the problems as Microsoft Updates create the Wednesday and Thursday of the previous week. Thank you Microsoft!

  • CS5 installs but does not work

    I tried to install CS5 Extended on a Win XP SP3 computer that already has an installed CS3 upgrade.  I like to keep the CS3 until CS5 is working properly, that it is not doing.  Here is what happened:

    -CS5 seems to install safely; I put it in its own folder, separate from the CS3.  There is no error message during the installation.

    -After restart, I noticed that no icons were installed (is this normal?) while CS5 is on START > programs.

    -CS5 does not start when you click on CS5 in the start menu > list of programs, or as a file in MS Explorer.  Bridge CS5 fact run, but you cannot access CS5 from there either.

    - And my old Bridge CS3 had now CS5 as it is by default on 'Open with', rather than CS3 (is there a way to control the selection?).  CS5 will not charge nor of Bridge CS3.

    I tried to install CS5 twice, the second time after uninstall and run "Cleanup for CS5.  No luck, I got the same problems!

    I removed the CS5 on my computer so that I can use my old CS3.

    Can someone help me get the CS5 running?
