  I have a purchased version of Adobe Creative cloud with Photoshop package and also a few files from the trial. Yesterday, I downloaded the demo of Premiere Pro CS6 for 30 days.   I have an old Photoshop CS3 install, install a newish Lightroom and now I need to install the first of my Adobe ID work. I think that this may be the crux of the problem.   OK, thanks for the update KBaird.  I'm curious about the results, but the option you have chosen is probably the fastest.

  In general, I recommend only migration of documents and settings and reinstall all applications directly.  Sometimes the migration can occur successfully more often if they lead difficult to solve errors regarding Adobe Creative applications.
