Creative cloud hangs in windows not impressed 8.1
I'm getting frustrated with this new thing of creative cloud...
Windows 8.1 and get this error.
Adobe... THIS ISSUE!
I pay a monthly fee for service... to not be locked.
I tried to delete the obd... It still does not work.

Please update desktop from CC: https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud, right-click and run as admin and try to connect.
If still the same error then kindly uninstall CC Office Control Panel, run the cleanup tool: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html and try to connect.
Also try running the CC Office in hidden admin account and check the whetehr the problem persists.

Creative cloud cleaning tool does not open
I've updated my OS X to El Capitan, and my creative application of cloud Manager does not load one of my Apps (either to install or uninstall). I only get the current blue bars. I read through many forums on this subject now and most seem to say that it is related to a conflict with older versions of Adobe apps on my system, so I tried to wipe by downloading the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool. https://helpx.Adobe.com/creative-cloud/KB/CC-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
But, for some reason I can't open this application. The dmg seems to go, but the program itself does not open. She bounces on my dock for a bit, then finally presents itself as "not responding".

1 - Check if you have installed browser security extensions, please disable them. (For example: AD BLOCK, Advisor to Mcafee website, toolbar of internet security etc.)
2 disable the firewall of your machine, see Windows Firewall enable or disable - Windows help , OS x: about the application firewall - Apple Support
3 turn off the firewall of the security program installed on the computer Internet.

Please follow the steps mentioned below to delete previous files of the creative cloud and then try to reinstall it.
Remove the OOBE and AAMUpdater folders.
Mac OS:
- Exit creative Cloud Desktop
- Access \User\
\Library\Application Support\Adobe *
And/Library/Application Support / Adobe *.
To access the hidden user library folder, see library user access hidden files. Mac OS 10.7 and later.
- Find and delete the files AAMUpdater and OOBE
- Download creative-cloud

Windows:
- Exit creative Cloud Desktop
- Go to \Users\\AppData\Local\Adobe\
And C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe
C:\ProgramData\Adobe
- To view the AppData folder and program hidden data, see files, folders, file name extensions. Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7.
- Find and delete the files AAMUpdate and OOBE
- 5 re - download creative-cloud

Win 7 is a new facility to this day. Only Adobe reader, Java & openoffice software reside on the computer - not other applications.
I have run the cleanup tool and tried to reinstall several times.with the same result. I tried to put the machine in safe mode. Nothing has helped - the plant desktop app yet.
Someone from Adobe could help please? This is an impact on my work.

Thanks for the helpful reply. This did not fix it, but I solved the problem by removing all the adobe machine SW & then deleted all of the directories used by the Adobe software. I then reinstalled the desktop application. The desktop application is now downloading the applications, fingers crossed.
This question was urgent, because I teach a class on Wednesday on the promotion of PP... Adobe Lightroom & PS! (heh)

Well, I found a solution. As far as I know, the cc itself application needs to update, but since it is empty, you don't see that she put needs to update. So I did this:
1. close all adobe programs
2. open taskmanager
3. Select processes tab and end all adobe processes (including the creative cloud)
4 (windows key + R) to open the immediate window.
5. type %LocalAppData% and press OK
6. go to ADOBE > OOBE
7. Select and delete the file "opm" (in fact, I believe, he says opm.db)
8 open again cloud creative app
9. you should now be able to log in and update.

CS3 (or any other version of the suite) should not cause a problem with cc.
Uninstall anything cc which might be installed, own cc by use of the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems, restart your computer and reinstall the cc from here desktop application, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud and use the app to install your programs of cc.
