Creative cloud: why must I always be logged to the Application Manager?
Hello
I've been on the creative cloud since may, 2012.
Today, 6 may 2013, a very strange thing happened. At the launch of Photoshop, I was asked to accept the license agreement, then
It took me to another screen where he asked me to log-in to start my trial period. I clicked on "Buy this software" and I had to log-in to the Application Manager.
I was able to use Photoshop and I thought everything was OK.
However, this problem arises whenever I left PS and tried to re - start. It has also happened with other applications!
After spending a few hours on chat with technical support, the only thing that works for me must always be connected in the Application Manager when using all Adobe software. The tech support guy had a reason for this, but for now, it is the workable solution only.
I must also say that I am able to use the Cloud Creative applications while on the internet, but once again I must always be logged in the Application Manager.
If I connect to the Application Manager, the above problem re-surfaces.
It is a new problem as of today. Previously, up to yesterday (May 5, 2013) I was always connected in the Application Manager and used only to connect to get updates.
Why is this happening? Is this a problem or how it works now?
Hi Jeff,
Yes, it works. I can be connected on the App Manager and use the Adobe software with a new user account.
However, until you tell me to always switch to this new user account whenever I want to use the Adobe software, is there a way to solve this problem with my current user account?
In fact, it would be easier for me to be always connected to change username all the time.
Thank you

I bought lightroom 6 for my mcbook pro in June, installed and used one or two times very well. (I also had a version of lightroom track 5 and separately installed creative cloud before buying 6) I haven't used the application a few months and tried to open it this week without success, it launches the image of the foliage of the forest and freezes. I uninstalled the version of lightroom 5, nothing helps.
Hi Cyril,.
If you are using the trial of both creative cloud, please uninstall it from the computer and try to revive the Lightroom.

I bought creative cloud, but I can't use one of the applications.
I already bought a package with creative cloud, but I'm unable to open all the apps. They say I have to buy each application separately, but I'm already paying for them. When I try to open them, it takes me directly in the window of the trial, saying that my trial is over. How can I solve this problem?

I have a Dreamweaver CS6 which was installed stand-alone version on my Mac (OS 10.10.1) for a couple of years now and has worked well. Last year, I joined the creative cloud and got a single subscription to Dreamweaver CC. A week hardly, after 1 year, I cancelled the subscription. I wanted to go back to my old Dreamweaver CS6, but when I launched DW CS6 it grew up the account manager and he wanted me to activate my subscription again. So, through a long process to Adobe customer service, I deleted the application manager. But when I went to the DW CS6 launch, he said that the account manager was missing and impossible to verify the serial number. Then I reinstalled the new account manager to have the same problem occur. I need to reinstall an OLDER version of the account manager so that it does not have to register again for the subscription of the CC? Is it still possible? Bottom line: how to launch my old DW CS6 stand-alone version without running account manager problems?
Thank you!
Run the cleaning CC/CS tool to wipe all traces of your system CS6.
The Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner tool allows to solve installation problems
Perform a new installation of 12.0 CS6.

Why my laptop did start asking for the application manager?
I had an old Macbook with CS5 on it for a long time and it worked fine. Then I did a recent migration of a new Macbook Air, and suddenly a few weeks later a sign appears, a box, saying: I need a new version of the application manager. I have not yet today what it was, if I google it and found and downloaded. Then a sign came up saying that I had CS5 on more than 2 computers. So I chatted with Adobe a few times, lost many hours, they said they reset the license, he never went away. I finally just uninstalled CS5 out of the macbook air, as delete request handler and the macbook air is now just running an old copy of CS3. Should I try to re - install CS5, it's a kind of worreies me now. Maybe I just have to wait until I get CS7? It's the next Photoshop I will buy. Thank you.
How many computers have you installed ch to?
How many computers have active PS?
Before that you migrated to the new laptop, did first disable this copy of the PS?
If disabled, then uninstall Adobe Creative cleaner a few times, rebooting between each and then a relocation and reactivation does not work, I call customer support Adobe (not Technical Support) and chat with them. Many users have had better results with a phone call, with Live Chat.
In addition, Adobe stops many offices, during the holidays, so I don't know how the customer might have, or not have, until after the new year.
Good luck

So after purchasing membership for one year with all the content, the creative cloud decided to no longer work on my computer.
I had to update, but the update crashed with an error 1001 then with an error of 50 first so I tried to uninstall, but he said there is a mistake to uninstall so I restarted my computer and when I tried to open it, the program said that it has been damaged or missing so I reinstalled online.
After re-installation, he went to the page of the trial so I wound up so I could connect but it does not open. I am a student and you have a class from this week where I need this program given im in the game and Animation. Help, please.

do I need a subscription of $22 for each computer?
A that CC can be installed on several computers by just downloading but it can be activated twice. So you'll have top be careful about activation.
Activation of the CC is possible on the third machine by turning off the previous machine.

Publish online gives this failure: to publish documents online you must be logged in creative cloud! But I'm already logged on creative cloud, so it makes no sense...
Even if InDesign can show you to be connected, you must also be logged in the desktop application cloud creative (menu bar on a Mac, in Windows taskbar). Go to the "gear" icon > Preferences > General > Sign Out, and then sign in with your Adobe ID

I had a subscription CS6 for some time but just installed Lightroom since the Application Manager. When I started it by asking her if I have a serial number or you want to try. If it is included in the creative Cloud service, why he is not activate as the rest of the CS applications?
Here are several troubleshooting methods that should get reactivated by your Adobe ID applications:
A. follow steps 4 and 5 of http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/convert-cs6-licensed-under-ccm.html:
- Launch the application.
- Click on the button of the license of this software .
- See your Adobe ID in the dialog box and click the Sign In button.
B. use Adobe Application Manager to install a different application to the activation of the trigger with the help of your Adobe ID
C. if an application is launched without having to ask for a serial number but another doesn't, then the application that is activated choose Help > deactivate in the menu. Revive and activate the application.
D. reinstall the Adobe Application Manager here: http://www.adobe.com/applicationmanagerpatch/index.html. Then re-open the application.
If none of these methods resolve the problem, then provide:
- Version of your operating system.
- The three log files: PDApp.log, amt3.log and oobelib.log.
- Send this information to [email protected].
Get the files of newspapers under Windows:
- Open the command prompt.
- Type mkdir Desktop\logs and press enter. This will create a folder named logs on your desktop.
- Type copy %temp%\PDApp.log Desktop\logs\PDApp.log and press enter. This will copy the file PDApp.log in the folder logs.
- Type copy %temp%\amt3.log Desktop\logs\amt3.log and press enter. This will copy the file amt3.log in the folder logs.
- Type copy %temp%\oobelib.log Desktop\logs\oobelib.log and press enter. This will copy the file oobelib.log in the folder logs.
- Zip the folder of papers using a program like 7-Zip Zip (available at http://www.7-zip.org).
Get logs on Mac OS x:
- Open the Terminal (located in the utilities in your Applicationsfolder).
- Type mkdir ~/Desktop/logs and press enter. This will create a folder named logs on your desktop.
- Type cp ~/Library/Logs/PDApp.log ~/Desktop/logs/PDApp.log and press enter. This will copy the file PDApp.log in the folder logs.
- Type cp /tmp/amt3.log ~/Desktop/amt3.log and press enter. This will copy the file amt3.log in the folder logs.
- Type cp /tmp/oobelib.log ~/Desktop/oobelib.log and press enter. This will copy the file oobelib.log in the folder logs.
- Type tar-czf ~/Desktop/logs.tgz ~/Desktop/logs and press enter. This will create the file logs.tgz on the desktop. You can ignore the message: tar: removing leading "/" names of members.
