• Grouping of NETWORK - validation test cards

  I was hoping to get a validation test on a configuration that I propose.  Networking is my area the lowest so please be nice.  Here's the scenario.

  Two 6509 with four cards of 48 ports (10 GB trunk between switches)

  DL380 servers with two quad port NIC

  Two vSwitches with 4 uplinks by vSwitch (two ports per quad port NIC)

  Here is the actual surface, I'm hoping to get confirmation.  I would like to connect two uplinks to a 6509 on different maps and the other two other 6509 on different maps.  I do this for redundancy and BANDWIDTH.  The idea is that I'd be able to lose a 6509 and still be in business.

  I'm not interested in debating the merits on # vSwitches or number of uplinks.  I hope just to get clarification on the splitting of the uplinks vSwitch between separate physical switches.

  Yes you can - because the redundancy is your primary goal, you can configure grouping vSwitch in the vSwitch in a role of active / standby classica where a port is active and othe laugh standby - if you want to both ports of uplink to be active, you will need to set up the NIC teaming policy on the vSwitch Port card based since the law of physical switches independently and you want VM out of a port traffic uplink single at the time because you can't spon Etherchannel through two switches-

• Field validation tests

  Hi all

  I'm currently testing a telephone number for the validation field. I configured the validation settings, but I want to use exit the event to focus on the field if the entry does not. As you can see you can enter an invalid phone number and it pops up the error and then move to the next field.  I want to return to the Center.  This is the code I tried but I can not find the list of properties anywhere.  Can someone point me to the appropriate reference?

  We need to determine how many advanced capabilities of a sale to another step within a given period. Thus, for example, my logic will test to see how many opportunities became '10% ' during a specified period of time. I used the box sales stage history analytics. Then I put a filter on 'Historic step of sales' = '10% '. Finally, under the "Start Date"scene, I chose one of the combinations nice date (month/year) to invite users to report.
  
  This seems to be a reasonable approach?
  
  It seems to me reasonable results, but it would be very difficult to verify that the results are correct before the creators of real opportunity for this polling data.

  Your approach is correct. Do not forget that if the opportunity will move multiple steps on the same day he only will present the last step and not earlier. There is a system problem. • Failed Validation Test Suite

  I'm usign ADL Test Suite 1.3.3 to validate a SCORM 2004 Captivate generated PIF and after 20 seconds (the default for reception LMSInitialize delay) I get "ERROR: Initialize() never invoked" while the wrapper correctly launch the swf file.
  I also tried to intercept a call of function Captivate1_DOFSCommand and seems that it is never used.
  My test platform is:
  -Windows XP SP1
  -ADL Test Suite 1.3.3
  -JRE 1.5 Update 2
  
  Any suggestions anyone?

  First of all thanks for your offer to help me but yesterday morning I played with a few options for publishing and I found to forget, as good as I am, to check the metadata include Breeze (which seems caused not call the LMS functions) and the options of the object in the manifest that was causing an error during the validation of the metadata.

• T440 memory validation test

  Lenovo will come out tomorrow to repair a T440 unit with bad memory (many BSODS, omitting most of the tests.) expanded memory, etc.

  The representative on the phone seemed a little unsure of the configuration of the memory on these laptops. My understanding is that the 4 GB of RAM, our units have is soldered directly on the system board as a DIMM on the unit is not used.

  It is safe to assume that the procedure is to replace the motherboard? The representative initially wanted to send us a 4 GB SODIMM, but I don't think that would do any good.

  No complaints about the rep, he was very friendly, I want to just make sure we are setup so that everything is resolved tomorrow.

  A SODIMM is welded and this one is not.

  To determine which one is faulty, remove the removable SODIMM, and then rerun the tests of memory. If she passes the test, then the removable SODIMM is defective, in which case the defective SODIMM should be replaced.

  I guess this may well been asked before but in a different way, but I just wanted to go through my understanding of the 'sync to devices' pictures little use iCloud photo library...

  Taking the simple example of say a Mac computer and an iPad on IOS9, both with pictures turned and configured to use iCloud photo library, optimized storage rather than the original images, to save space.

  I got all with iCloud, for example if you take a photo with replica to the iPad it will post to the library and from there to the Mac (and other devices you may have). What I do not understand, is what happens to the original photo on the iPad? So, if the original charge in the iCloud, this automatically then crushed library on the iPad with the optimized version to iCloud? Or should it be deleted manually?

  Next question - if for some reason, you want to access the original of a photo stored in iCloud when your IOS device is offline, is - it possible, or restrict you to the optimized version?

  And finally - I don't understand why you use Photo stream in conjunction with iCloud photo library - or is it meant for non-Apple devices?

  It is completely automatic. If you have only small storage left on your iPad, the original on your iPad will soon be deleted, but if your iPad has a lot of free storage, Photos can keep the originals autour until the storage will be necessary.  You don't have to delete the originals manually.  You can't even delete them manually without remove the photo from iCloud as well.

  Next question - if for some reason, you want to access the original of a photo stored in iCloud when your IOS device is offline, is - it possible, or restrict you to the optimized version?

  If the original is no longer stored on your iPad or Mac, you'll need an internet connection to share your photos or to change.

  I always keep a backup of the original on an external drive to be able to access photos at all, if there must be a network problem.

  And finally - I don't understand why you use Photo stream in conjunction with iCloud photo library - or is it meant for non-Apple devices?

  It is necessary for devices that are too old to be upgraded to Mac OS 8 or later, and cannot use iCloud photo library.

  Or, if you do not use iCloud library but want to synchronize the albums selected for your devices with iTunes instead.  In this way, you have a better control, what pictures will be stored in the original version on the iPad and it is better, if you are traveling and you don't have a good internet connection.

• dvSwitch validation test

  I'm exposing a dvSwitch for a wider environment, and I'm worried about run Max ports.

  No... If you set the port group to have 128 ports, it is not yet multiplied against the number of hosts. Guests consume ports from this pool.

  You can check this by creating a VDS and add hosts, then looking at the "Summary" tab and "ports".

  The port group will require a port by vmkernel for each host. Keep in mind that prior to 5.1 VDS ports are static and not elastic. You may need to up the value of the port count if other ports are required.

  With a VDS 5.1, ports are elastic and will automatically switch to a higher amount when demand increases.

  Yes, if you plan to have a service being started on your physical waiting while it is in standby mode, you don't need to create the service with DBMS_SERVICE previously. CREATE_SERVICE. When the waiting becomes the main, Oracle Restart starts the appropriate services as defined by you using the command "srvctl add service d DMSPRMY s DG_DMS-l primary SCHOOL.

  If you need a container of service started on a standby physical while it is in standby mode, then you would have still to do the creation on the primary service so that the service is available on the day before.

  But in both cases you don't have to create the trigger.

• Quick test of validation when using 3D paintings

  I do a quick validation test to see if I'm on the right page when you use arrays 3D (see document attached for more details of table).

  I coded the Word document in LabVIEW (VI attached), and I have 2 sets of embedded for loops for each transformation - one to perform the transformation and the other to back to see if I get the same result.

  So for example, if I feed in table 3D ABC, the first set of loops for it change to LAC, and the second set must change it restores on ABC to see if you did it right.

  Well, the first series is ok. But when I try and turn into a cabin and BCA and check my work passing it backwards, it does not return correctly.

  I checked it over and over again and ran through the tutorials.

  Any help? If I do something wrong, can someone let me know what it is? I would like to learn!

• No sound during calls, fine rings, test in options button-> noise audio playback ring

  My sound does not work very well, the test under options-> audio button playing the sound of the ring. Yet when I call the echo test or any other organization they can hear me but I can't hear anything. I hear it ring when they call me, but I hear about them.

  The answer was in the last answer. I had to remove the audio device from the Device Manager and make sure to uninstall the driver, and then restart, after which he replaced with a device called simply "high definition Audio Device". Now it's working.

  Please note: you have a bug in your test under audio settings button. So who plays with his success when you can play sound during a call, it is not a valid test. You should do the same in both cases.

• Lenovo T420 with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit - Windows Genuine validation failure

  I have directly from Lenovo Lenovo T420 bought end of 2011 which began recently to show the message that its not running Genuine Windows.  He fails to pass the validation test.  He also stopped treatment of the Windows updates since December 15, 2014.  All fail with the error 800706F7.  I don't know if that is related to the failure of the validation.  I would like to get the Windows validation problem all solved first guess that they may be related.  Is attached a copy of the report full diag.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Update: called Microsoft validation and validation of phone attempt to id software.  Has been informed by the agent that the product ID has been blocked by Lenovo.  Suggested I upgrade Windows, purchase a new license or call Lenovo.  Release with support from Lenovo and told me that they have no way to block a product code.  Suggested I try an upgrade of BIOS or reload the operating system.  Have you the BIOS upgrade result has not changed.  Also updated the driver Intel Rapid Storage, but again no change on the system.  Read messages where that fixed similar symptoms).  Latest report of diag is the same as that posted here. Operation of the system with the exception of the issue with the message on non-genuine software and updates of Windows does not not error code 800706F7.  Looking for more information.

  Update: 2/29/2015 KB3004394 was not as installed on this system.  I ran a system scan and it shows the following missing components. There are several entries in the CBS for the latter.  I have included only the first two entries in the newspaper here.

  Last update: after trying the suggested corrections that have failed, I did a complete system restore.  Too bad the updated Microsoft corrupted the system.  System is operating normally and is more pointed out the error of "Genuine Windows" and updates are being processed.
