  Ok. Found the problem. This is the Tab Mix Plus.

  Options > tabs > Tab Mix Plus Options > tabs > address: has been reset during the upgrade to ' newtab: home ' while the browser.newtab.url was "subject: House. Set them both to about: home and now it works fine.

  (Note: I don't know why disable addons don't work... it should have disabled Tab Mix Plus and eliminated the conflict.)

  I work to reduce the number of topics we have in our 3000 + by taking a large number of very small subjects and adding the text of their share in a great subject with bookmarks. However, as I was working on this yesterday, RoboHelp broke on me and when I relauched it, everything that I worked an a was drizzled in pretty bad.

  Here is my method for this compilation:

  1 create a new topic.

  2 cut and paste the individual text of each of the small subjects in the new great topic.

  3. create a bookmark for each of the elements in the large new topic.

  4 remove the files small topic.

  5. set all links broken for new bookmarks in the new subject large file.

  I had about enough step 4 when RoboHelp stopped on me without warning. Now, nearly half small topics deleted reappeared and the other half are removed, but are appearing in the list of topics with a red X through them and I can't seem to go in.

  I tried to restore before the crash, but that has not helped at all. I also deleted the project locally and reloaded in RoboHelp and once again, no luck.

  I tried to delete these topics of RoboSource Control, remove them from my C drive and doing a Get Latest Version everything and generate a main page layout after each step to see if these subjects really would be delete, but alas, they have simply not disappear in my project manager. When I try to delete them, I get the popup asking about removing references to other files, but after choosing my answer, nothing happens, and the subject does not disappear.

  I did the same 5 steps in a different project and when RoboHelp does not plant, I don't have any problems.

  Any guidance you have would be appreciated!

  I had this happen also. The way I solved it is to edit the file .fpj with a text tool like Notepad and hand delete topics. The fpj file contains a list of all the topics that are expected in the folder and when RoboHelp plant it doesn't have a chance to do this clean up. The file is named .fpj (folder_name) If you have topics in a folder. If the topics are in the main directory, the file is named root.fpj. I hope this helps.

• Site built in CS3, not able to export, but must import into PCOC

  My site is a mostly html files folder in documents > local sites. I used CS3 which stopped working and I uninstalled and tried to reinstall but it still does not work. I uninstalled again and installed CBWMS. I would like to import the site. All the information that I found on how to import a site on CBWMS said you must export it as a certain type of file/folder CS3 first, is possible to import the folder I have?

  I'm working on a Mac.

  Any help would be much appreciated, please you would use layman.

  The export function is to back up your site definition settings only.  If you don't have CS3 .ste files, no worries.  You can manually set the sites in DW CC.

  Go to Preferences (Ctrk more K keys), click units & leaders and in the units box change the preference of Type on pixels.

  I'm trying to use applescript to run a series of queries to search and replace.

  InDesign is forgiving if you specify your style just in name, but in the case of groups of styles, be more specific.

  It is a query (that is, just a SELECT statement, which shows the data already present in the tables), or is this a DML statement, that will add data to the tables?  If it's just a query, then do not say things like "entries will be taken" or "filled with tables.

  Why you do not set 'minOccurs' zero? If you do, you can change the XML format in the EM Console and remove the item to test the Web Service.
