  Yes, you do. Serial numbers are Mac only or Windows only. As you have discovered, you can't use a serial number of Mac on Windows (and vice versa).

  You can do a platform Exchange to put the serial number of your Mac and get a serial number of Windows instead.

  I have the Adobe CS4 Design Standard student edition. I get an error message that says: "cyclic redundancy check" when I try to install the program via the disc. I always kept this disc secured inside the cd case, and it has no scratches. The disc could still be corrupted? How can I fix?

  I bought a student/teacher version of standard for CS4 for Mac in 2009.  I loaded the trial version and when I purchased the software, I was sent a serial number to activate the software.  I recently had to reimage my computer and do not have a cd (I have never sent one) to reload the software.  I recorded my serial number of the software on the Adobe site.  When I contacted them on loading the software, they would not provide a link because he doesn't buy them.  I have a letter from the place, I bought what tells me to contact Adobe support.  Even when I contacted the seller about my purchase, the information they sent me check buying again once told me to contact Adobe support.  Where can I go to download CS4 Design Standard for Mac student/teacher version. • Impossible to install Photoshop CS4 Design Standard educational

  I just bought the version of Adobe CS4 Design Standard education and had no problem to install everything but Photoshop CS4 (what do I really need)!  It does not appear on the installation menu when I run startup, but it seems to be on the installation DVD in a couple of the .dmg packages. I currently have photshop elements 6 for Mac installed, and I already had installed Photoshop CS4 ext trial with LightRoom 2, but they removed from my system once the trial is over. Why is not install Photoshop CS4 and how can I solve this problem? I have to reinstall trial software and then try and activate serial number? The installation DVD drive is bad?

  I have had a look through the forums here do not seem to have all the same questions.  I have three drives in the package, 1-Applications, content-2 and 3-learning.

  I can see the files for Photoshop .dmg disk 1-Applications, but do not know if I develop they successfully install Photoshop.  I managed to install InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat 9 with the parts with no problem and still about 100 GB of free space on the disk.

  I'm installing on my MacBook Pro, with 250 GB HD and 4 GB of RAM with 512 MB video card.  I previously ran the trial version on the machine with no problems, so I'm assuming that there is no problem with the minimum requirements to run the software.  The only problem I think that could touch it is that I don't have Safari 4 on my machine...

  Any ideas?

  Probably because of the trial. Run the CS4 Cleanscript then re-install all :-(

  CS4 is REALLY OLD and can not (probably won't) works with Windows 10

  An idea that MAY work to install or run some programs in Windows 10 old... works for some, not for others

  Adobe has not tested applications in Creative Suite 4 on Win 7 or 8.1 because it is an old product, so it may or may not work on these operating systems.

  I bought a copy of CS4 Design Standard a few years ago and still use it today. I update my 2009 MacBook to a MacBook Pro 2012 which is not a disk drive so I need a download of this edition. When you look at the list of downloads I don't see version CS4 Design Premium, no Design Standard version. Can someone point me in the right direction?
