CS4 project manager is not trimming of clips.

Will make the creation of project manager pro cs4 topping the source clip points and output file size?

I swear that I've done it before last year. When I do a project manager pad is creates a folder, change the name of the file, but does not change the original size.

I created a project and imported only a clip, cut from 1 min to 5 seconds and is down a timeline. After the export of proj mgr file has not been cut in the new folder at all. I tried to add handles.

Assets MPEG does not get filled.

"Houston, we have a problem."  OK, I think it's a serious bug in the Project Manager / Mountain Lion copy function.

This is my first complete Assembly with PP, and unfortunately I did not advance file management.  This is so what I put up to do all my editing (which worked great).

3 camera files - all AVCHD (PRIVATE) on my external drive 1.

Created a project in PP file and saved to my local dive.

Imported files, 6 camera with Media Browser [(milieu, gauche et droite) - acts 1 and 2].

Import named these files vidoe XXXXX. MTS, so I renamed the Act1, 2 Center, Act1 right and so forth.

Created a chronology of MASTER and then synchronize the video and then created a scene of the MASTER schedule.  Again, EVERYTHING GOES WELL.

Now that the project is done, I want to use the function of project manager COPY 'Archive' my project so I chose to save to an EXTERNAL DRIVE 2.

Here is the BUG.  If I open the project file on external Drive 2, not all my clips are emerging.  In fact, if I select one of the VIDEO CLIPS, such as CENTRE ACT 1 and make a find in the FINDER it shows:

where, as in the original project on my local drive CENTRE ACT 1 appears as: (note that there are several split files as it should)

  • Topic shows in the project manager, but not in Windows Explorer

    Hello

I have an A project topic that I would like to import into the project B. When I work in project B and click import and watch the list of topics in project A, I don't see the topic I need. However, if I open A project, I can see in the project manager. The section opens and appears in the table of contents correctly.

I don't know what is happening or how to fix this. I am reluctant to experiment because I myself got subject struggling outside the project before moving.

    Thank you

    MDawn

I thought to it after I posted my question. I opened the Properties section and the name of the file is different than the title of the topic. Of course, in Windows Explorer, I saw the file name, not the name of the topic.

    Thank you

    Hello!

    The scenario:

I am currently working on a custom CompactRIO Module. The material is made for the most part, I installed CompactRIO MDK 1.0 and I want to configure my CompactRIO system and develop the driver VI for my module.

The steps required to configure the cRIO system before you start developing the pilot VI is the following (as mentioned in the documentation of MDK):

    1. launch LabView and select as an execution target FPGA devices. The Embedded project manager window will appear.

    2. Select the file-> New and create a project (LEP) LabView Embedded file.

    3. ...

    Used equipment:

-LabView 2011, a Student Edition license

    -LabView FPGA and real-time modules

    -NIRIO 4.0

    OR-CRIO9024 controller with 8-slot chassis

    The problem:

After the launch of LabView and selecting FPGA as a target (see figure), even by pressing the "Go" button next to the slide in the menu window of Embedded project manager will not appear.

I also tried searching in other menus, without success.

    Issues related to the:

    1. where can I find the Embedded project manager?

2 is it possible, that I can't find the window of Embedded project manager because I have a student licensed LabView?

    3. How can I create a LEP file in this case?

    4. can I use (and if so, how?) the option "create a pilot instrument? (see the attached figure)

    Hello!

After some research, I managed to create the link between my custom cRIO module and LabView.

The complete solution (with LabView 2011):

-Add the line "cRIO_FavoriteBrand = generic ' in the file LabView.INI"

    -Launch LabView

-creation of a vacuum of the project and select FPGA execution target, click OK

-Select 'CompactRIO Reconfigurable Embedded System' as the project type, click Next

-the next step is the detection of the chassis / modules, followed by the creation of the new FPGA project

-Add the custom module: click right on the target FPGA-> New-> C Series-> new target Modules or peripheral-> series C Module-> OK

-Enter the name, select 'generic' module type, enter the location

    Hope it helps someone someday.

  • Project manager not transcoding speed ramp Clips

I have a sequence that contains about 27 shots, all from the same source. Im trying to project manage so that I can make shorter to send our colorist clips. There are 4 clips accelerated. Both of them have speed bumps and not two. 3 of them are not transcoding but. They have copied the original clip instead of transcoding to ProResHQ like all the others.

IM on first Pro CC 2014.2 on a MacPro to 2013

    Any ideas?

Time remapping is not currently supported to consolidate and Transcode, so it will fallback to copy the clip.

  • Project management, including files SD Captioned close does not work

I discovered that I am unable to project manage (media management), subtitled a timeline that contains items that have been close.

    (1) for loading a file of close captioning in the source window, there is a second video track that appears in the timeline panel.

The video of the second video track is identical to the video in the first track, the only difference being the top rail holds the captioning.

Deleting of this track (track 2 video) removes the captioning.

    SDCaptioned_V1V2_Screen Shot 2015-01-29 at 10.40.41 AM.png

    (2) when I try to project manage a timeline that contains HD (XDCAM HD 422 50 MB) and SD (ProRes 422), sometimes the project well will be reduce the HD images to just the clips used, but the SD card will not.

The size of the project as a result of the winds that can reach the size of the captioned SD sources, all SD combined sources.

(full promo shot - No. HD (XDCAM 422 50 MB) screen clips)

    TestTimeline_NoHD.png

    (3) remove items one by one with only the graphics being the constant, the project never reduced to a manageable size.

For example, the timeline has a task that is: 30. In this: 30 there is a SD subtitled clip which is 01:12, as well as some graphics.

When project manage this chronology, the project shrinks to 17.7 GB (846 MB are GFX).

The size of the source of the SD subtitled clip is 18,14 GB.

(promo with 1 single file close SD captioned, more GFX)

    TestTimeline_DanielBoone_singleClip_Screen Shot 2015-01-29 at 9.49.19 AM.png

(4): 30 spot containing GFX (846 MB) and a single HD (XDCAM 422 50 MB) clip is going to handle the low project correctly.

    HD-WAL_XDCAM422_Screen Shot 2015-01-29 at 9.55.29 AM.png

(5): 30 spot containing GFX (846 MB) and one unique: 11 HD (XDCAM 422 50 MB) and a clip unique captioned: 03 SD (ProRes 422) clip will NOT manage low project correctly.

In this case, the project shrinks to 16.2 GB, the file source SD captioned 11,56 GB that is, and the difference of 4.64 GB is still too much for: video 14 MB and 846 of GFX.

We have noticed with CC v7.2. We thought for sure it would be fixed by CC 2014.2.

The inability to properly and effectively project manage (media management) put our FCP pending switch in the foreseeable future.

Adequate project management is essential to our workflow.

    Thanks for your quick response!

#1 works. Once I unchecked "include legends on import" the problem on

recently imported clips has been resolved.

However, already imported clips that I had removed from the project,

Stop the PP, has reopened the same project and imported back these (drug clips

    them from the finder)

These clips kept their captioning regardless of the change of preference.

I went to preferences, media, own Cache of database and no.

    change.

I would say that there is still a bug with 2014.2 of PP and its ability to fully

work with files already captioned SD files.

I don't know if I have HD captioned files to try. HD captioning work

differently from SD (SD captioning done part of the HD video signal

    captioning is in the meta-data).

good thing #1 worked... #2 would have been almost impossible due to the file

    sizes of used items.

  • Project manager not to prune the R3D files.

    Mac

    CS5.5

I'm doing a project. I go to the project manager and select "create a new project trimmed.

I understand handles 24f, Meda rename files match... etc.

The size of the project resulting (EST) says 5 GB when the real project is proving to be 20 GB.

    Thoughts?

(Btw, I tried collectors and copies the files and it was the same size (20 GB), as many images in both files)

Cannot cut the R3D files.  She would need a codec RED to be able to generate new R3Ds... the best it can do is consolidate your project for only in the media which are actually used in the edition.

  • Changes in Project Manager

I am trying to check in a project for the first time since the upgrade to Premiere Pro 8.1 and have changed the parameters of the project manager.  Now, there is no option that will cut my project while retaining the original multimedia codecs of each file.  Why are us now stuck with transcoding everything which takes forever and translates alpha channels that are flattened and huge file sizes.  Is there a work around?  Thank you!

Option trim in previous versions has been limited in formats that it supported (essentially a number of codecs QuickTime). Consolidate and Transcode, it will be made smart (like Trim) for any codec supported (see Smart Rendering in Premiere Pro CS6 (6.0.1 and later), & first Pro CC). If you are using a preset that matches your clips (which supports smart rendering), it will actually then cut these clips. Of course, if you use different types of clips which do not correspond to the preset then transcode or copy will participate.

It is not ideal, but you can always keep the previous version of creation (for example: CC 7.2.2) and CC 2014 8.2 installed on your system, so that you could take advantage of the 7.2.2 trim option.

Please feel free to submit a feature request to bring the Trim option in the project manager. Adobe - feature request/Bug Report Form

  • Head of project... not always re-Binder

We mainly use trim mode when the project manage our PP - CC projects to the server to archive.

However, he had moments when we opened that newly created project - the sequence grey diagonal lines and most of the images does not connect.

I noticed in watching a shoot 2 cut in the timeline panel angle of cam 1 from the time code on each clip has the same departure time on each edition... Same thing with cam-2.

Also - when you look at the images in the folder of the box - it seems that all the correct scenes are there.

    Everyone knows about this problem?

    Here is a workaround?

On another note - when we do not use the original sequence project manager loses it is the link to all the files in the preview that we made.

    Any ideas about this, too?

    Thanks in advance

  • Does anyone use the project manager?

    Hello

I have printing that Manager project does not serve much. I use CS4.

    However, here is my attempt.

I worked on a project for a friend, and as I was going out of town, he wanted to do a little

editing on the project with his computer.  It also has the CS4.

So, I used the project manager and made the following choices:

    1. I clicked on: "Collect files and copy them to the new location."

    2. I clicked on and chosen: "exclude the unused Clips.

    3. I clicked and selected: "Include preview files, 'Include audio conform files' and 'Multimedia files Remane to match clip names'."

    4. I made the destination of my office project.  He showed the 51 concert in the project.  Then I transferred all of my office to help connect an external hard drive with an eSADA.

When my friend all this on drugs on his hard drive and opened his Pro CS4 the Prem, the project looked just like he did on my computer, with the exception: all the video clips were 'offline' of course, they were originally on one of my hard drives, but not "hard drive project.

I expected the project manager to copy the files from all three of my drives with everything else.  In addition, some of the music was absent (offline).

I expect too much from the project manager?  It will copy all files, audio, video, F / x all hard drives etc?

I'd appreciate help here how to use the project manager and get everything.

    Thank you, Tom

They are in offline mode because they aren't in the same place they were before - your office.

Your friend will have to connect the media.

  • Will my projects be exists after reinstalling first clip?

    As the title

    The short answer: Yes.

The longer answer: If you uninstall first, then all of the projects are removed from the device and will then synchronize down when you reinstall and log on to the same account. Note that assets that Clip recorded in its own Apps folder will also be deleted when uninstalling, then downloaded the cloud after reinstalling. Clip recorded assets in the Apps folder in 3 scenarios:

    1. When the project was created on another device and automatically synchronized through through creative cloud.
    2. When assets were imported from creative cloud.
    3. When assets were imported from Adobe Lightroom.

To be clear, uninstall Clip does not delete any of the assets of film.

If you simply update of Clip without uninstalling/reinstalling does not affect your projects, so they will all be ready to leave immediately at the launch of the new version. (Unless, in other words, you don't have to update Clip since last June, when we changed the system of project management as a whole of the Clip...)

  • Project Manager hangs during fired fresh files and copy them to the new location

    Hello

Any project I have which includes a .mts file captured with a Panasonic GH1 camera causes the project manager in Premiere Pro (CC 2015 edition) to hang (several minutes and ends by hangs) when I do a "collect files and copy them to a new location. It creates a "xxxx. MTSBDMV' with a 'STREAM' record fo RL first file, but that is it. I can even reproduce with a new project with a single sequence, single clip.

I'm under Premiere Pro CC 2015 edition on a Windows 10 machine. (I tried before 2014 CC edition WIndows 7 as well, same result, but I have not created a test case).

An example of project (1,3 Mo) can be found at: Test_GH1_footage_collect_files_crash.zip - Google Drive

Any suggestion for a solution or workaround are much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Arjan Mels

    Hi Albion,

Thanks for your message and anxiety. I downloaded your sample project and media and was able to replicate your issue.

I don't know why these images give you so much trouble, but there are a few things to check.

    1. Where is the folder for multimedia file structure? All I see is the raw. Clip of MTS.
    2. In general, you copy all the SD card to your computer HD, then ingest via the media browser
      1. This allows all the metadata to clips to be implemented with the clip.
      2. The clip needs this metadata so that it works normally.
      3. Many publishers of band on the metadata by choosing File > import and do not ingest correctly via the media browser

I suspect that this could be at the heart of your problems. You could try a try and ingest the images correctly, so try and move the project with the project manager. If it still does not work, please file a bug herereport.

Once I transcoded your footage to ProRes LT using Adobe prelude, I could ingest images, create a sequence, then moved the sequence and associated media without problem.

    Thank you

  • An unknown error has occurred to project manager

So I tried to understand this point for quite a while now and I get this message. "An unknown error has occurred during the operation of project manager. Please save your project and try the operation again. »

I have a feature film and I'm trying to consolidate a reader to send for coloring ( life-size contains16TB of film without consolidation project that is why I am trying to use the project manager). Initially, I tried to use the project manager on my master chronology that did not work so I was broke up segment by segment and still may not know which clip or file causing the error. I can get some deadlines at work while others give the error message every time. I can also see the differences between files that are contained in the various deadlines.

-Mix of R3D and ProRes 4444 and ProRes (HQ)

-Try to use it on a single sequence

-Recover files and copy to the new location

    -Exclude unused items

-Include Audio Conform files (also failed when it was unchecked)

I'm 200% positive that my drive to target location has enough available space. The only thing I could possibly think is that on some images, I used the function "film" and has assumed a different framerate.

If you want to use the preset with Source: individual Clips, make sure that you select Source Match for the created preset (Source: individual Clips will accept only the presets to Match Source). And as Kevin already mentioned, you can create this preset in the SOUL or first.
