  more than an hour on these problems:

  (1) I can't just drag and copy an object more

  (2) I can't resize an object and its setting selecting just. I can resize the frame only (not proportionally, however, doesn't matter the number of keys that I use!). Not the object it contains.

  I work with INDESIGN CC 2015 latest version (I've just updated) and on MAC OSX Yosemite 10.10.5

  I regret the money I spend each month to pay for these programs.
  Whenever I update them I have 1000 problems.

  I don't know even how to replace the preferences that I don't know what I should replace. And sorry if I sound stupid, but when you have to deal with a stupid task is what is happening. I refuse to understand.

  two days after, and a new update, it was back again.

  I think they were all preferences.

  @Rob: I used command-Shift and it always works when the black Selection tool is active. By selecting and dragging to create a copy of the object.

  It was just strange and frustrating.

  You cannot change anything in these versions to increase user interface, only the most recent versions.  You can try to set the resolution of the screen.

  Hello to all and forgive my lack of knowledge of the AferEffects.  Currently, I got the task to my work to create a video for a display at a local arena.  The height of the screen of the arena is 36px.  I bought a model of Envato that I liked but resizing has been a problem.  I created a new composition for the appropriate specifications and copied the model layers in my new composition.  "Then I went to the size equal to the composition but noticed that there are layer 'points' and I guess that 'transformations or effects' ' are not scale with the height of the composition.

  Is there an easy way to resize the layers and all their properties to meet up to my composition?

  Have you tried to use the script of the Composition of the ladder by going to file - Scripts - scale Composition.  Define a height 36, click scale and then copy and paste all your layers model comp above the 36 x 2760 model. Who should maintain relationships between all layer properties in the model.  Forgive me if I'm struggling to understand what you're trying to do, but a few screenshots of your comps might help illustrate your workflow.

  I have a HP Pavilion dm4 laptop of 2.5 years. The first hinged on both sides broke that makes it harder for the laptop to close properly and now the frame is breaking apart. Is there a way I can get/buy replacements before other parts are screwed up.

  Yes, I also have this problem (dm4-1050ea).

  It all started on February 2015, when my aunt noticedv that my laptop was nt close properly.  It could be be made to do by pressing half upper (screen cut) to the front to the rear of the closure.

  The hinges then becomes deective that the screen don't would not SOUPLESE nd would not sit just to the place (angle) you open to.

  Following the hinges too stiff beame to exploit, came shortly after the left of the screen/lid and the window broke near the LH hinge (rather than though the bezel as shown in the image above). Then the right hinge broke off, then the screen become deective (mainly a band along the LHS - worked with detached hinges OK))

  So, I find myself with computer work, not 100% functional & broken and needs special care to use. the screen does not work in all areas (a replacement looks like £30-$50), with the virtually hanging screen, need to rplace lying hinges (£10-$15) and also nees any other bits (?) and the knowledge to fix it.  HP say they can't stand any more of this model and have no theparts (from end of 2015).

  It may be beyond the capacity of an almighty ccompany such as HP to find parts, but it does not seem beyond the my ability to get parts of - maybe-2nd hand - other HP broke! - But what I lak is kno detailed ho a skill to perform any repair.

• Is it possible to resize the text and icons in the user interface?

  I'm on a Windows 10, 15.6 screen laptop "4 k. The menu bar along the top is sized very well, most of the time. However, all the icons and the text to actually work on fuse are too small for me to look at and click on without having a fight.

  Hi Brandon!  Great question!  Unfortunately for the insight we have not a scalable user interface, but it's certainly something that we will keep in mind for future releases.  Now this is resolution dependent so you need reduce the resolution setting (we've only really tested until about 2 k ~ monitors).  The user interface is pretty basic at the moment, but there are a few changes, you can do it.  Here is a link to the user guide on the user interface customizations for details - but you can change the position of the toolbars by clicking the separation Strip and you can change the width of the canvas/editor fracture by dragging on the edge of the editor Panel.

  I would like to animate a line coming from the top of the image down and half, I want that he turn 90 degrees and continue on the left to the right side of the frame. A good example of this is here: last week tonight - and now this compilation - YouTube

  My first attempt: make a shape layer, has drawn a line with the pen tool and added the paths of toppings. I tried to add the effect in the turn of 90 degrees, but the effect does not appear convincing fluid for me.

  I think the problem is that rotation, the front point of the line for moving, but really, this must remain in the same position (let's say the Center) and the rest of the line must turn so to speak.

  So second attempt: I tried to animate the shape-path this kind of work, but I always end up accidentally change in appearance (thickness) of the line (if this is the way to achieve this effect, I'm sure I can solve this problem although). Also, this means I have to animate the movement towards the front of the line vs. just using the trim road.

  What I was asking: is there a simpler way to do it? I want to seek to convince, i.e. have the line moving fluidly on the screen.

  I use CS6.

  I would forget shape layers, and I would use the traces of mask on solids.  You can then use wither STROKE or Write-On effects to make the lines

  I know this will be a stupid question but here goes.  Just updated to CS5 in CS2 and I can't get the basics to work more.

  Set the width of the line to 10 points.

  Profile of uniform width.

  Set the brush to ink art - conical race

  Well, now draw with the pencil tool and I get a 10pt line but none related conical.

  Drawing with the brush and I get a tapered to 10 points.

  Now define the profile of width to "width profile 1'.  Everything else unchanged.

  Pencil tool give me a line 1 pt uniform.

  Brush tool gives me a line of 10 points with the profile.

  I'm so confused. How can I get these values by default to work with the pencil tool?

  Apply the stroke tapered to a path and then deselect "New Art has basic appearance" in the appearance Panel menu. Now you can draw such a line as long as you do not change the appearance.

  I'm trying to resize large JPEG images and maintain proportions. I actually managed to write the code, but it's huge, so I wonder if there is an easy way. The next question is about the image resolution. I resize the photos that are 600 and more dpi. Is there a way ColdFusion can resize and reduce the resolution to 72 dpi?

  No, they don't.  The files have no IPR - one INPUT (and OUTPUT) devices have IPR.

  Files have the resolution, depth of color, of compression and file format.

  You mix up the quality of OUTPUT with the FILE data.

  You have an image file which is 100px by 100px.  This is the data FILE.  The file has so 10 000 pixels of data (not much for a photo).

  Now if you want the OUTPUT to a monitor at 72 dpi 10 000 these pixels will be appear in a box ~1.38 inches on ~ 1.38.

  If you output to a printer at 300 dpi, it will appear in a box ~0.33 x ~0.33 inches.

  The quality of the image file is the same, but the output determines how small the points are for each pixel, and therefore the size of the overall picture.

  Things that affect the quality of the image file are how many points there are in the file (resolution) how these points are pressed (compression) and file (lossless and lossy) format and how many colors can be used for each point (color depth)

  I have a few images in full HD 1920 x 1088 or what it is, and I need to put it in a film where everything is in the resolution 1040 x 584, is it possible to reduce the resolution while keeping the proportions? All files are. MOV that I like to keep, but if it's the right size. AVI, that's fine too.

  When I try to export a single clip on first, the aspect ratio is lost and I've tried several programs of video conversion in the last two days, none worked for various reasons, the resolution that I needed was not available, would not work the file after conversion, first does not recognize the file, the aspect ratio has been lost etc.
