  Recently, I tried a trial version of Adobe cloud. I don't like it and uninstalled it. Now NONE of my CS5 products will not work. I tried to reinstall them and now they continue to give me a popup that they are a "Trial" version, and my serial numbers, I have had for years no longer work!

  I spent four hours on the phone with Adobe, who was falsely to re-download the product of my account page and promised to me, in writing, that they would work then with my serial number. They lied. After all this, they said they couldn't help me because the product was taken in charge and just «go to forum» It is a hell of a way to treat a customer who had Adobe products since version 1.0!

  I installed Photoshop CS6 x 64 on a 64 bit, Win 7 machine.  Whenever I start it, it says trial will expire in 0 days and allows me to put in my license number or continue the trial.  I can do no more and use the software.  This took place for several days.  I installed the x 32 version on the same machine.  Only, I needed to once in the license number and it works very well.  What can I do to get the x 64 version working properly?

  Please check your host file and try to activate again:

  Reset the hosts file:

  Windows:

  Click Start > run, type % systemroot % \system32\drivers\etc and then press ENTER.

  Right-click on the hosts file, and then select open. Select the application Notepad open the hosts file.

  Save the hosts file: Choose file > save as, save the file as hosts.backup, and then click OK.

  Look for the hosts file for entries referencing activate.adobe.com (for example, 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com) and remove these entries.

  Save and close the file.

  Mac OS

  Log in as an administrator to change the hosts file in Mac OS.

  In a window of Finder, select go > go to folder.

  Type/etc.

  Select the hosts file and open it.

  Save the hosts file: Choose file > save as, save the file as hosts.backup, and then click OK.

  Look for the hosts file for entries referencing activate.adobe.com (for example, 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com) and remove these entries.

  Save and close the file.

  If still the same number then try to update the application manager: https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud, launch CS6 and enter the key when you are prompted, and let us know if it worked.

  There should be a drop down menu where you can select the version that qualifies you for the upgrade activation (CS5 in your case).

  If you want version 12, then you don't need to install version 6, you must install version 12.  If you are really talking about Photoshop Elements, not Photoshop, then the link below, you should get to the download.
