  I installed Photoshop CS6 x 64 on a 64 bit, Win 7 machine.  Whenever I start it, it says trial will expire in 0 days and allows me to put in my license number or continue the trial.  I can do no more and use the software.  This took place for several days.  I installed the x 32 version on the same machine.  Only, I needed to once in the license number and it works very well.  What can I do to get the x 64 version working properly?

  Please check your host file and try to activate again:

  Reset the hosts file:

  Windows:

  Click Start > run, type % systemroot % \system32\drivers\etc and then press ENTER.

  Right-click on the hosts file, and then select open. Select the application Notepad open the hosts file.

  Save the hosts file: Choose file > save as, save the file as hosts.backup, and then click OK.

  Look for the hosts file for entries referencing activate.adobe.com (for example, 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com) and remove these entries.

  Save and close the file.

  Mac OS

  Log in as an administrator to change the hosts file in Mac OS.

  In a window of Finder, select go > go to folder.

  Type/etc.

  Select the hosts file and open it.

  Save the hosts file: Choose file > save as, save the file as hosts.backup, and then click OK.

  Look for the hosts file for entries referencing activate.adobe.com (for example, 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com) and remove these entries.

  Save and close the file.

  If still the same number then try to update the application manager: https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud, launch CS6 and enter the key when you are prompted, and let us know if it worked.

  I had installed 5.5 as it came out. I'm back for a week and he instantly promped me for a serial number I provided. He accepted it but now keeps prompting me for her on and oevr again without letting me to all programs! He is happy with the supplied serial number (green check mark) but then continues to ask me again and again she. It makes me crazy! Can anyone help?

  If you want version 12, then you don't need to install version 6, you must install version 12.  If you are really talking about Photoshop Elements, not Photoshop, then the link below, you should get to the download.

  There should be a drop down menu where you can select the version that qualifies you for the upgrade activation (CS5 in your case).

  If you have purchased lr4 where registered with adobe, consult your Adobe ID account - using the same adobe id for purchase / register.

  You must use the exact installation file that corresponds to your serial number.  of course, the versions must match.

  a little less obviously an acrobat pro installation file must be used with a number of pro series, and if a serial number is a sequence that includes acrobat, you must use the installation files on.

  To continue to use the serial you paid for you simply continue using the software that the license has been purchased is valid for (which is all what you have bought in 2013).  Your Adobe Suite has no relationship with the creative cloud.  Your serial number is only valid for the product for which it was purchased.  If you want to use cloud products, you must purchase a subscription.
