  I have been transferring pictures from my Canon Digital via the Canon software in a Windows "My pictures" file for about 2 years with great success.  Today, an attempt to transfer was interrupted with the message 'Save folder not found' "Cameras Windows DC.  I noticed that was missing the file "my images".  I added one, I reinstalled the Canon software, I tried to download the image using the "Windows Photo Gallery", but got the same message as above.  What can I do to be able to download the photos again?

  You must use file > export > unmodified original Photos in order to get your camera raw files

  To the 6 d, you need Camera Raw 7.3, which is available for CS6. You will need to use the free dng converter and save a version of Camera Raw 5.X to PS CS5 can open it.

  I just put my camera Nikon D90 for a D610.  I have been using Adobe Bridge to manage my pictures with the D90 and Camera Raw 6.3 to convert to use raw files in Photoshop CS5.  The new D610 wrote different raw files, so I've updated Camera Raw to the latest version (6.7.1) which is supposed to be compatible with the latest Nikon cameras.

  The D90 files always convert very well with Camera Raw 6.7.1 but cannot read the raw files of the D610.  Someone at - he saw no why not?

  Bridge has nothing to do with it.  Only plug in ACR can open raw files.  The bridge is simply a file browser, nothing more, nothing less.  Bridge does not open, edit or save files.

  Assuming that you are referencing the Canon EOS 5 d Mark III (there are a bunch of ' Mark III ' cameras around), simply update your plug-in for version 6.7 ACR.

  Note that the automatic updater for Adobe CS5 has been and remains a completely unreliable, useless cr@p, room so that you will have to locate, download, and install the plugin 6.7 cab manually yourself.
