CS5 Raw with Canon 5 d Mark III and Canon 6 d

I have CS5.  Recently, I upgraded my 5 d Mark II to a 5 d Mark III.  I also have a 6 d.  I can't open my pictures in RAW.  Am I forced to buy CS6?

Hello

You should be able to open the Canon 5 d Mark III of files in photoshop cs5 update to camera raw 6.7

(Help > updates in photoshop cs5)

For the Canon 6 d, the 8.1 DNG Converter should work by converting your files 6 d camera raw to DNG

copies, which should then open in photoshop cs5.

recently updated the Canon mark II, mark iii, and the images taken of the mark iii will not make previews in bridge. Bridge will show previews for the images taken with the mark ii, but not the mark iii. I have adobe cc and am using camera raw 9.2. I checked the updates and it is said that there is not. I also tried to purge the cache several times and that didn't work either. Any help with this would be so appreciated its driving me crazy!

  • Will be 5 d Mark III and T5, T5i and T6i rebel use the same lenses

I have the 5 d Mark III and some big L series lenses. I'll buy a rebel for my GF to learn photography. My lenses will work for her T5, T5i or T6i?

    Thank you!

Yes - but it doesn't work the other way around.

Canon EOS "EF" series lenses (including all your 'L' series lenses) will work on ANY body camera Canon EOS Digital or analogue, and regardless of whether a digital camera has a sensor size full frame (like the 5 d which has a sensor the same size as a 35 mm film negative) or a crop-frame camera (as the series body rebels who use the size of the) sensor 'APS - C' which is a bit smaller.)

But suppose you get your GF body rebel... it'll come with a "kit" lens (usually this kit lens is the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II or EF - S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM).  But that goal is an EF-S lens.  The image that projects of the lens in the camera body is large enough to fill the surface of the sensor to a corner to for an APS - C sensor... but it is NOT an image large enough to cover the size of a sensor full-frame corner.  Advantage of the EF-S-objectives, is that they can produce a high quality image that does not need more large than an EF lens, and because of this, they are able to reduce the manufacturing cost of the lens and THIS means that the lens can be offered at a lower price than the somewhat similar focal ranges EF lenses.

These objectives EF-S can be used on any digital camera Canon EOS which has a sensor size 'APS - C' (any body of the rebel, also all the 20 d with 70 d series), as well as the 7 d bodies but may not be used on any body of the camera which uses a larger sensor (any body standard standard 6 d or 1 d 5 d requires "EF" lenses).

Specialty lenses like the tilt-shift (TS-E) and the extreme (MP-E) macrophoto lens can be used on any EOS body (just like the objectives EF.)

  • I walk Canon D5 mark iii and Nikon D800E

I've been with Canon products for 30 years on SLR & DSLR camera and video... And now look forward to the Nikon DSLR camera... As Nikon D800E full frame DSLR... Please give me an advice.

I could buy a D800 when it first came out, so I did a lot of research on Nikon lenses & unfortunately there isn't any whatsoever of Nikon or Tamron / Sigma that could meet my needs. As much as I would like more pixels, so I can crop more deep, I still have to vaccinate all first. We have all different needs & although I don't like what the brand of the body people shoot with a camera body is useless without lenses to meet the specific needs of users.

  • Open projects CS4 CS5 error with Canon 5 d footage HELP!

HI Im trying the new first Pro CS5 demo and Im getting problems of opening projects.

At the beginning I couldn't open any of my CS4 projects but could import sequences simple one at a time only, not all projects. If I finally worked fine yesterday and today nothing opens that includes images of 5 d from canon. I get this error.

"This project contains a sequence that could not be opened. No preview of the sequence is preset file or codec might be associated with this type of sequence. »

I get the same message when I import an entire project. Yet I can import a sequence of the entire 1 at a time!

I can only create new projects that save and open, but all former registered projects cannot be opened.

    Thank you

  • I can't open the camera raw with canon sx60hs in items 12

    Anyone else had this problem

Camera Raw plugin | Supported devices

Applications of camera Raw compatible Adobe

The SX60HS was first supported by camera 8.7 gross which is only compatible with 13 elements (and later versions).

You must upgrade to 13 items or download the free Adobe DNG converter, convert all SX60HS Raw files to DNG and then change the DNG in 12 items

  • Portege Z30 16 GB with high speed Port Replicator III and two monitors - resolution

I have a Portege Z30 with 16 GB of Ram, connected to a Toshiba high speed Port Replicator III which is connected to two monitors running in mode extended.

The monitor attached to the first section of the video is 1920 x 1200 running.
However the second monitor is only show support for a maximum of 1280 x 1084.

The monitors are identical, and both are connected by DisplayPort cables.

I tried to lower the resolution and save the settings on the first monitor to see if it offered options on the second monitor, but the options remained the same.

At this point, I have narrowed down to 1280 x 1024 so that it conforms to all the monitors but would like to a plus-res solution.

Does anyone know if there is a fix/work-around for this?
If this is a hardware limitation, has anyone tried a USB 3 to DisplayPort adapter in a similar configuration?

    Thank you!

At the same time using two displayports?
I wonder how it is possible, because of my knowledge it is not possible... as far as I know the Port Replicator III supports two DisplayPorts but you could choose and use one of them...

In any case, you can use both with a lower resolution, I guess that this problem can be caused due to incompatible display drivers.
I suggest you to uninstall reinstall or update the display drivers and check if it helps

  • Weird artifact that happens during the shooting of 60 fps on 5 d Mark III

I'm shooting video with a 5 d Mark III and I always strange artifacts like the video attached when shooting at 60 fps...

I just got a Canon 5 d Mark iii camera and I always shoot in Raw. I downloaded them on my computer and when I went to open them in Photoshop CS 5.1 it tells me it is not supported by the installed version of Camera Raw. I tried to do an update and it still does not work. I'm helpless as to where I start. Can someone please help me with this?

Make sure you have ACR installed 6.7 it may open with her.

  • Canon 5 d Mark III - Lightroom 4.1 - edit in Adobe Photoshop does not

Hello, I appoligize if this has already been answered, I couldn't find a solution.  I have the new Canon 5 d Mark III and I've updated to Lightroom 4.1 so I can import RAW images in LR 3 5.  But when I go to 'Edit in Adobe Photoshop CS5' or 'merge to HDR Pro in PhotoShop", put PS in the works, but it loads all files. I'm assuming it's because the PS Camera Raw is obsolete. So I downloaded cameraraw6-7_r1_win_030612, but when trying to install it, I get "some updates could not be installed. Update is not applicable".

I also tried to restart and try, and I tried the steps outlined here:

    http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/983626?TSTART=0

    What I'm missing here?

Fixed using technical support. You must manually remove Camera Raw of the below sites and create a new Admin user to install under... The latter seems odd, but I kept getting "update does not apply" with my normal Admin login (this is a personal PC, and I installed everything under the Sun as my current login), it must have something to do with Camera Raw files that are defective in my user profile (AppData, etc.)

For anyone else seeing this, remove the sub directories:

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\Camera Raw 6

    C:\Program Files\Fichiers Raw Files\Adobe\Camera 6

    \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRawyourusernameC:\Users\

Then logout and log again under the new Admin account you created.  Install camera Raw 6.7 RC, it should install fine.  Then you can log back as your user and normal use with Camera Raw 6.7 PS.

  • 5 new noise of 1 d Mark III everywhere

All started to shoot with my new Mark III and I am shocked by the noise, throughout my shots. He was just testing "go outside and shoot.  Most f11 ISO 100 shooting raw. I had a 5 d that I traded and have a lot of plans to compare with. I think I have some setting wrong or something. Can anyone help?

OK, so the polarizer is responsible for dropping the light of the best part of 2 stops.  It makes more sense.

I don't have Lightroom, but I wonder if you can browse the image RAW Canon Digital Photo Professional (it came with your camera) and let us know what he looks like.

  • 5 d Mark III to access the (compact flash) card error

I just got a Canon 5 d mark III and having problems with it access to the card compact flash. This has happened on 4 different cards all gig Lexar professional 32 X 1000. I have a Canon 7 d and the cards work fine in it. All the cards have been formatted by the 5 d Mark III before using. It seems sometimes they work and other times it won't.

    Hi cuda719!

    Thanks for posting.

It is certainly unusual, but not after testing all the cards on the market, it is difficult to ensure that all the same cards will work with all cameras.  To isolate the problem to the cards or the camera, try to use another card which is not identical to the 4, that you used.  If the camera is still the error with the spare card, it must be repaired.

To start the repair process, you need to fill out a service request on our Web site.

  • Will be Canon 5 d Mark III Raw files work with Lightroom 3

I just tried to download the Raw files from a Canon 5 d Mark III to Lightroom 3.  The file have not been recognized.  According to me, there were a few problems update, but my Lightroom 3 is updated.  I need Lightroom 4?  I need to know that I have a meeting tomorrow and will go back to my Mrk II if I can't get an update of Lightroom 3 emergency.

The latest version of LR3 has been updated in last December, and the 5D.3 is more recent than that, then Yes you need LR4.

You can download the trial LR4 (or just the update 4.1 www.adobe.come/downloads/updates/ LR) and have 30 days before you need to purchase and enter a serial number.

The other choice is to use the 7.1 to DNG Converter that knows your new camera, but allows the converted DNG open in LR3.
