CS6 constantly asks me to register even though I already have?
Hi guys,.
Basiclly I have problems with my CS6 I installed a few months back.
I'm a student version of CS6 installed and expelled for the number of Seraglio as you do, once I had got my serial number I went to for use and it seems to work fine the first time I open any program CS but it soon started asking my number Seraglio again and again, as if it were still in the trail version , I contacted adobe support that were useful and suggested I open in admin and see if it works, which it did for a short period of time.
But I'm now to square when he asks my serail number everytime I try to use it, it works once I entered the number, but it gets annoying to have to enter this code mulituple times a day.
I was hoping that someone would be able to shed light on this case for me.
Thanks to a bouquet.
PBM
Hi swarlsbronson,
When you enter the serial number the system tries to connect to the activation server Adobe and for any reason if your system is not able to connect then you might have this problem.
I think you should check the hosts file.
Location of the Hosts file
In Mac---> open Finder window--->, click go on the top of the page---> click on 'Go to folder'---> Type "/ etc"---> open "hosts" using Textedit.
In Windows---> C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts, open it with Notepad
In the hosts file if you see an entry of Adobe just delete this entry and then save it.
Once all this is done you can product launch---> enter serial number.
Close the program and reopen it and check whether or not it requires serial number.
Thank you
Kapil

Everytime I open Photoshop CS2, it starts as if it were the first time. All the settings are default and it asks me to register even though I already have. How do I save my settings and keep his memory?
Right-click on the exe to PS file and choose Run as administrator. I think you choose the option "check mail", it will not ask again.

Can I download Windows Vista even though I already have XP?
I have a very bad copy of windows XP on my PC and have nothing but trouble with it. I have my old copy of Vista and you want to download it. But I have problems doing that. Is it possible to add Vista even though I already have XP on it? What should I do?
Hi Themonstercalled,
1. what type of installation disk you use to install Windows Vista? You are using a full version or upgrade disk?
2. what exactly happens when you try to download Vista?
If you want to keep Windows XP, you can try to install Windows Vista on a dual boot and check.
Note: Be sure to make a backup of important data on an external hard drive before performing any type of installation.
You can check the following links for more information:
Install multiple operating systems (multiboot)

Set up a dual-boot system
You can also try a clean Windows Vista Installation If you do not want Windows XP on your system.

Some sites say that I have to update my browser even though I already have.
Hey,.
I downloaded the latest version of Firefox like 5 times, but some sites like Youtube, Myspace, and Twitter keep telling me that I need to improve Firefox because my version is no longer supported.
I also have the latest Flash Player and Java versions.
I tried everything, uninstall these three and their installation again. And if I use Google Chrome or even an older version of Internet Explorer, everything looks good. This happens only on Firefox. What is going on?I ask this because I like to use Firefox and I don't want to migrate to Chrome.
Thank you
Andrea.
Try to reset the user agent (identifies the version of the browser), yours is who identified himself as Firefox 2.0.0.17
For more information on how to do that see sites Internet says that Firefox is obsolete or incompatible, even if it's the latest version. It gives details of a series of preferences that will have to be reset.

I bought the PDF monthly Pack and I can't open my files on my software of the company. I click on a document and a screen comes up asking me to buy something. I already have. Also before you buy the PDF package, I was able to open my documents of the company. WTF thank you
Have you by any chance also tried Acrobat Pro, have a trial version for 30 days, and it is now out of print? If so, you must uninstall it.

Why Adobe will not accept redemption code, even if already have the serial number?
A redemption code has a use in his life, to acquire a serial number. Once that has happened the redemption code is no longer useful.

I've updated to Firefox 9.0.1 twice. I still get messages from Firefox and Mozilla among others asking me to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox so that my system works. When I do help > about Firefox, it shows that I'm using version 9.0.1. What additional steps are needed for other applications, including Firefox, to recognize that I am using 9.0.1 version?
Thank you.

Thunderbird has worked for years OK but recently decided to ask for passwords of e-mail, and then ask again, several times, even though I told it to remember using pw Manager. When pw is given, he just keeps asking until I have abandon. Receives emails from Gmail, but I can't send Tbird. No problem with gmail itself as I can connect directly and send and receive mail, but then I get a message from gmail on Tbird telling me that I just connected via my browser. All very disappointing.

Java Applet constantly asked for authentication
With having an application of ADF on Weblogic 10, with occasional access to a Java applet. The Java applet is loaded whenever this is necessary and not charge whenever it is not in a facet. The applet is currently in the folder public_html/applet.
When we define the SSL configuration to require a client certificate when the Java applet loading, it will constantly ask a client certificate even if the user has already presented to the client by hitting the site:
Identification of the required authentication request. Select the certificate to use for authentication.
It's annoying for users and the Java Applet requires no authentication. Is it possible that we can disable authentication or remove the prompt?
Here's the code included:
<applet height="1" width="1" code="applet.Applet.class"archive="/app/applet/SApplet.jar" /><param name="permissions" value="all-permissions"/></applet>
Things I've tried:
(1) configure the Applet on HTTP instead of HTTPS; I get a warning about mixed content and still get authentication pop up.
(2) created a small applet that only types "HELLO World" in the console, still get authentication pop up
Here's the console window:

Firefox asks me if I want to save a password even though I have this selected setting
Firefox asks me if I want to save a password even though I have this parameter selected; I even deleted the passwords thinking that might help and I went back to the site, connected, and he asked me to save him. I even downloaded a Firefox another, 9.0.1, and it won't always ask me. What is the solution?
Thank you very much; It works now!

Hello: anyone can tell me why when I install Camera Raw 9.1 (Mac, with CS6) Photoshop seems to only show Camera Raw version 8.7 even though it said installation was successful?
Bruce - thanks. I'm not sure you've seen this, but I looked on the "Update" menu on my laptop and updated the application manager. Who did the trick. I opened the Camera Raw 9.1 download successfully and it was installing on my hard drive, but without the CS 6 update, it was not to find the right place to go. This issue is now resolved, and updated the latest watch information box.
Thank you!

Why am I asked to enter my serial number even though I downloaded applications using creative cloud?
This is the user to user forums. Most of us are paying customers. If you have a problem of deactivation of your software, you must communicate directly with the Support from Adobe. They can probably solve deactivation for you and might be able to help others solve your problem.

Can I prevent Dreamweaver CS6 constantly querying the FTP server?
When I work at the CS6 I little work directly on the FTP server. I do not work in a great team, check in and check out is a feature that is lost to us. So I have the Advanced Server settings to automatically download files when I save them. It works pretty well with the exception that Dreamweaver CS6 seems constantly ask the FTP server anyway. Many times I will go to save and it will throw an error that it cannot download the file now because it is currently interacting with the server.
In Dreamweaver, I have the log open FTP tab and it is just constantly looking for things on the server at random intervals. It is not to download anything or reconnection. I have no problem at all in fact apart from this connection.
I poked through settings and I can't find anything that says something like "Stop constantly check the FTP server, it is still there, do not worry there...» »
Here is the error for all she's worth. I wouldn't bother even complaining about this, except that it happens to me constantly throughout the day. If it was just once or twice I don't care. The other problem is that when the error occurs, it does not save the file locally which is useless in my case also, but since it signals as saved I have to make a change so that he could register and download. So many times I'm waiting so he could stop to interact with the FTP server for no good reason, adding a space, back space and then hit save again. Seriously odious, please tell me there is a setting to stop this behavior.
I have over a decade of experience with Dreamweaver, ongoing Web-based management of dozens of sites. He certainly had periods when FTP was seriously problematic, even after the CS6 updates where he was supposed to have been fixed. I managed to solve the problem on my production machine main actually two things:
- Temporarily disable my firewall and antivirus.
- Added the string "ResolveRemoteURLToIPAddress" to "Download Remote" in my registry and affecting false.
#1 told me that my security software may be panic all level access Dreamweaver and perhaps got its hooks in the software so as to jeopardize this access, which causes delays in the transfer file and synchronize operations.
#2 has been added to disable the feature to resolve the address IP of Dreamweaver, which caused it to sometimes hang when opening existing documents. This feature is enabled by default in the PC version. I don't know if DW interacts with the server just to open the document, or if it is something that occurs on a basis continues. If the latter, then it could be the cause of a lot of frustration "interacting with a server" for many users. More details here: http://helpx.Adobe.com/Dreamweaver/KB/hang-opening-document-Dreamweaver-CS5.html
Dreamweaver is not as effective for as a standalone application FTP file transfers, because it is programmed to keep track of all the files and folders at any time and take notes of the same thing. For this reason, I always have a FTP program open when I'm working. Having said that, the difficulty of recording, in conjunction with several combinations of firewall and antivirus applications allowed me to find a solution that little close to put an end to my problems of FTP of DW.

Still signed in even though closed Skype is closed and completely disconnected
Hey I seem to have a problem for months, I don't know if it of a known issue or not, but some friends have that mine have told me that I'm still registered on Skype, even though I have disconnect manually. Sometimes I'm quite 'Skype' and the program quits or I will 'disconnect' and then 'leave Skype"if Skype isn't running. Skype never also told me who signed, I also noticed that some of my contacts are signed and I'll call or their cat... or text them asking if their signed on which we will say no.
I'm updated to Skype 6.21.0.104 (it would be annoying to go 'invisible' every time using Skype and useless)
Thank you!
Try the /showplaces and cat /remotelogout commands.
