CS6 moving from one office to another

I can't move my old CS6 software to another computer, the files look like they're moving, but so I ask for permission to administrators. Any help would be appreciated.  I use a PC, I tried to move files on an external hard drive.

Hi there, we do not recommend the migration of the Adobe programs. Please run the cleanup tool (use of the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems) to uninstall CS6 from your secondary computer and reinstall a new copy from here: download Creative Suite 6 applications

  • Move the HD from one office to another desktop computer

It is a question about moving the files & applications from one desktop to another. I try to get 1 year of use of existing & software equipment.

I have an office of stand-alone Dell old 12 years with Windows XP that I use every day at home. I have an old Dell Office of 7 years with XP & no apps or files that I have gained from the work that I do not use.

I guess the older machine is sick because I have to reset the clock each time I boot Windows. It seems to work otherwise. I want to act before the death of the sick machine.

A method that I am considering moves chips drive & memory fixed older machine to the latest machine. These two components are less than 3 years. I replaced a fixed disk damaged & added some memory.

The other method I see is to copy the contents of the fixed disk on the sick machine on the newer machine fixed drive, leaving the components in place.

I know I need to buy new hardware and new software. I would wait 10 Windows.

I'd like suggestions on the simple, reliable and cost-effective method to buy more time by using existing hardware.

To move the data from the user, just install the xp installation cd, search for "other tasks" in the

menu, search for "File Transfer Wizard", set the pc as old pc, select the file to save, save files

in a new folder that you created, once its through, out of xp cd. Move the new folder to a cd

Once through, on the new pc, install the xp installation cd, locate the file transfer, set the new pc, select

to search for files, installation cd with user data, find the folder on cd, install FTW

It automatically... Best bet is to run FTW on a new user account, and then move the files to the other as

necessary. It's one way, others, install the HD from old pc to new, HD set as slave,

with the HD as a slave, the data can be used with the operating system.

    Windows 10 is already available.

  • Microsoft Word - moving from one computer to another.

I have an old laptop with XP Home on it. I bought a new laptop and installed Windows 7 above. Windows 7 is Microsoft word. How can I move old laptop Microsoft Word again?

    Hello MrPPP,

If you bought Microsoft Word then you should have a CD of Microsoft Word. Just re - install Microsoft Word, using CD on your new PC.

If Microsoft Word came pre-installed, then, unless the PC manufacturer gave you a copy of the CD in Microsoft Word, you won't be able to mover it from one machine to the other.

Although Microsoft Word is, probably, the best available word processor application there are alternatives. For example, OpenOffice is free and contains a set of processor (which will open .doc files) as well as a map of computing and other similar to Microsoft Office applications. You can see OpenOffice here: http://download.openoffice.fm/free/?pk=10305

  • VM moving from one machine to another

    Hi guys,.

I have problem for move/copy the vm in vmware Server 2.0 from one physical server to another.

Server physical orig: Intel 1530CLR with WinXP x 64 Pro Server is installed.

    Destination server: Server 1530AHLX Intel with WinServer 2003 R2 x 64 installed.

The two server VMware server 2.0 installed. The virtual computer OS is RHEL ES 4.4 32 bits.

The virtual machine works perfectly on the home server, but I have to move it to another machine. I have turned off the virtual computer, copied the directory on the same path on the destination server. Then, I am trying to add the virtual machine in VMware server 2.0.

    I get the following error:

    & lt; quote & gt; The selected virtual machine is not recognized on this system. The cause of this problem is perhaps that the virtual machine's .vmx file is corrupted, or that the version of virtual machine is more recent that is recognized by the host. You can delete the VM inventory if you believe that it is not recoverable. Click on the link below to remove the virtual machine from the inventory. Delete Virtual MachineTo help diagnose the problem, you can check the virtual machine files to their last known location: "[VMS] VSTESTS/VSTESTS.vmx" & lt; / quote & gt;

Another thing I've tried to do is to create the new virtual machine and attach the file hard... but another error here: "the selected file is not a valid virtual disk file. Please choose another... "

However, I uninstalled (on the destination server), VMware Server and installed VMware player - and hurray!... the virtual machine is running.

It is not a Virtual Machine specific, because I tried to copy a two other VM, and same result here...

So, the conclusion is that this is not a hardware failure (it runs on VMware Player), but miss some boring setups.

I have these files in the folder of the virtual machine:

    ILLINUXVS01. NVRAM

    ILLINUXVS01.VMDK

In the hard file, the lines that start '1.' should begin with a character ' # '-that's what your have actually. It is preferable to attach files to messages rather than copy and paste.

Other virtual machines that you have running, they are the same encoding (windows-1255)? I have not added your .vmx file to my inventory, no problem. Other than expected, differences if you compare a vmx work and and this 'broken' with something like windiff, see anything? Feel free to post, as to fix, a .vmx server target.

  • Moving from one Collection to another PC

I use Windows 7 and 6 LR.  I am trying to create a slideshow, but I was told that my graphics card is not enough to see a preview or play them as the photo is just a black square showing only the outline and the title.  I then tried exporting at the thought of video that I might be able to do what I want ultimately to make the creation of a video without the consultation on my PC, but that only accidents of LR.

I used some photos in my laptop and the overview or the game works very well there.  So here's my question now.  Is there a way to export a Collection of photos of a USB key, so I can import it into my laptop to create the slide show there.  I spent a lot of time to organize photos in the collection in the order that I want to play.  I'm worried that export and import all photos will then have to be organised once more.  Export a collection will keep their sequence, or if not the photos can be tagged with a sequence.  BTW, my slide show has had hundreds of photos.

As you can imagine, I would be VERY grateful for anyone's help.

With the active Collection in Lightroom, select all the photos in the grid. On the file menu, choose 'Export in the catalogue' to create a catalog with these images. Check 'Export negative files' and 'include available previews. You can export to an external drive, and you will be able to run this directly from this drive on another machine that involved Lightroom.

  • VMDK moving from one server to another

We have a server ESXi free vSphere 4 a third device that uses of 200 GB of hard drive space.  We must move from this server to another server ESXi 4 only 130 GB of free space.  So my question is how to move and how reduce us it?

We have a company of vSphere 4.1 license, so we have converter but that would work in this case since niether the source or destination servers are allowed?

    Hello

You can use stand-alone Vmware converter to migrate the virtual machine to an ESXi host to another host ESXi. During this process,.

You can play with the size of vmdk. You can go to advance tab and increase or decrease the size of vmdk, add another vmdk and move the partition to an another vmdk etc...

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards

  • Moving from one computer to another - PSE 5

The time has come to move image files and the catalog from one computer to the other.  Currently, I have pictures stored on a pc, but have developed my catalog of files on a laptop computer that accesses the computer via a local home network.  The laptop is Windows 7, and the old pc is Windows XP.  Successfully, I've updated the laptop recently and have catalog resident on her, transferred by the migration of W7 option.  The catalogue, however, do not attach tags and appropriate legends and yet I can access the images on the old pc successfully once I have reconnect, in batches.

The old pc is about to die and I would move the image files to a newer version with Windows Vista.  At the same time, I would like to transfer my laptop catalog to the new pc and make it work on my new laptop.  I installed the program PSE 5 on the new pc and was looking for a way to move (I'm not really sure of what 'on the move' {means, but I read it in a few discussions, seemed important to use PSE 5 program to accomplish this step} but could not find a move command in the section of the FILE that does not involve an intermediary device such as a CD) , as opposed to simply using my local network.

Can anyone guide my through the steps necessary to restore my catalog on the laptop and transfer the images from the old pc and the mobile catalog for the new pc?  I can still access the catalog on the old laptop if necessary file, but its screen is tempermental and not likely to be visible for a long time.

I use PSE 5 especially for its organizational capacity related to the tags and captions.  I know that the software has advanced at least 3 generations from PSE 5 and I would consider an upgrade if the organizational aspects are higher in the new versions.  To facilitate what I want to do?

This type of difficulty facing many users when migration is required for all purposes.

    Still hopeful - David

Backup and restore order through you move all the images from the old pc to new pc. In case you want to move all images to the network location, it will be a separate process and you can use the command MOVE to make.

  • Licens moving from one pc to another

I'm moving my software PS Element from an old PC to my new. How to do that. What to uninstall and then install it on the new or do conflics with the license?

You are allowed to have two active facilities, so if you want, you can keep the original as a backup.  If you do not then you must disable the original at least so that you keep the activation should find you a use for it on another machine.  To disable it you open the program and choose Help-> Deactivate

  • CS6 transfer from one laptop to another

I'm transferring Adobe Creative Suite 6 of your laptop to another. Once I have disable and uninstall on my old, where can I find downloads for my new laptop? I noticed the free downloads of the trial on the website are for creative cloud, which is the same thing and will work if I download them and then enter the serial number of my CS6?

    Hi - I hope that's not t

OO dumb a question but I have started a project to a place and I'll now our office overseas for a month and will have to

work on the project on another PC while I'm there. I'm a bit confused as to where to look to put all the files I need on

on a USB key so I can load on in the U.S. office. Where video files, titles, and still images stored for a project?

    Thanks for any help

And the best way to move your project to another drive is to use project archive of the program.

This tool will move your project as well as your source media files files for the wherever you head, maintain the links between the project and the media in the process.

  • Problem moving from one page to another on the Web site

When I access this site with Firefox
I can't go beyond the first page. The problem is the same on our second computer. If we use Google Chrome or Internet Explorer, everything works fine. I tried the unblocking of the popups in the option settings, and it makes no difference. I can't directly compare the internet in other browsers proxy servers re access settings because basically, I do not understand the information on the screens! Help!

If you use ad blocking extensions, could you try to make an exception for the site?

If that doesn't help and you want someone to look at your list of modules, you can copy and paste into the second table here ("Extensions"):

    Help > troubleshooting information

Alternatively, you can try these sites with your add-ons disabled using Firefox Safe Mode. Use

Help > restart with disabled modules

In the dialog box, not the check boxes, click on "continue mode without failure." If the sites work as expected, then the most likely cause is one of your modules.

Is it that help at all?
