CS6: save the psb in pdf format. only the options psb, thought, & tiff!

Hello!

I use photoshop cs6 and I need to save my file of psb in pdf format so that I can send by e-mail. I've already flattened the layers and it's 8-bit/channel. Is there something I can do?

Thank you!

Save as tiff and then save them in pdf format. There is no option to convert directly from the psb in pdf format.

  • Save a brochure in PDF format and keep the structure typical of brochures (NOT for printing)

    Hi guys,.

I've created a brochure using Indesign and I want to save it as a PDF file and email it to people (if I don't want to print it) and thus it must retain the 'typical' folders structure (front cover of the single, then double pages and one page) - so I want to keep it exactly how I created it in Indesign.

But if I export it I always get only the single pages (so double pages are NOT next to each other).

I'm sure that there is an easy solution, but I can't find it and have searched for the answer throughout the day, but he did not...

Perhaps you could help me? It would be great!

    Thank you!

  • How can I reduce the size of the file when you save a psd in pdf format

I have a psd with graphics and text, it is 8.5 x 11, 300 dpi

I flatten the image and go to save as .pdf file I uncheck all options in general.

Compression, I tried a dozen different combinations and the way I found to get a document that is not pixelated or blurred is to use JPEG 2000 > lossless or jpeg > maximum.

So I have a document of high quality but the file sizes are approximately 900 KB.

I downloaded the documents of others of the exact same type and size (8.5 x 11, 300 dpi) that I have seen in Photoshop, they aren't pixelated or blurred and their file sizes are 300 KB or even less than 200 KB

    How do do that?

    Delete all layers used, invisible.

Zip compression is sometimes better than the jpg compression (in the pdf output settings). Zip is lossless and it works best with a color not degraded or not images.

Flatten the image before saving it to pdf format can reduce the size of the file, if you use the jpg compression.

See a preview of your pdf file and we can comment further on how to reduce the size of the file.

  • When I save a file in pdf format, colors appear evil in my Mail

I have a client who requires me to send art in pdf format. No problem, but since I have upgraded to CS6, the pdf file is displayed wrong in email when I insert it and when it is received on the other side. Some colors change.

I use Illustrator and I tried flattening of art (sometimes only some layers appear?), check the transparency, verification of the parameters of output during the process of "save under". Nothing works. If I send it as a jpg it's OK, but it cannot display the jpgs on his device (don't know why) so I'm stuck sending pdf files that look bad.

Can someone help me understand why this is happening and how to avoid it?

I use Mail as my email application and I have OS 10.7.4

Apple Mail uses the Apple own PDF Viewer, and it's... Well, let's be nice and say not really up to paragraph do not use for anything else that to check there is * something * in your mail. Then use the free Adobe Reader to view PDFS.

  • Cs6 save the file for the printer company

Question on master Parent AI file, or art presented in another file I send to the printer?

I created a leaflet (2.83x11) that I can now add 3 to a sheet of 8.5 x 11 for 3 leaflets per leaf.  When I save the master flyer (the 2.83x11), I crushed my text in text outlines to 1200 dpi and rasterized my art at 400 DPi and then saved the file. Ok

Then I open a new Board art 8.625 x 11.13 (to bleed) printing on the edge (border less) then place my Flyer 3 times on my plan of work and when I'm going to save this option to send to the printer here in lies my question (s)

    1. when I record a new workplan with a related Parent file this related info will save the file so that when my (printer) opens this file I. I bring the file Parent bound with it too on my USB key? Or the artboard will save all the contours and raster art on 8.65x11 the work plan?

Take me to a second question

    2. when I go to save this new artboard flyer and 8.5 x 11. I'm asked or warned of 72 dpi rasterization of the newly placed flyer to be saved and then placed in the 1200 and 400 dpi in as mentioned above. But I think I should go effect > rasterize > high or other (fill in PPP)

Here's the question if I save which place Parent, or the linked file and then rasterize, choosing 1200 as is the text of the first file is saved, it errors and says big enough to rasterize the 1200 dpi.  IF I rasterize say 400 dpi does now that sharp text I saved in the Parent bound 1200 file?   In other words how save you this file as it is stored in the master or the parent Flyer when you place it on a work plan for a printer?

    CS6 AI not cloud.

Here's what I do.  I would like to see the screenshots of the dialog where you are notified to rasterize.  But, that aside except (ad I will continue when I have more time), the text in the presentation are vector curves.  No need to convert to text converted to outlines.  Leave the direct text, unless the printer ask contours.  When you generate the PDF file, the text becomes incorporated.  Resolution is located in the "exit".  You set the resolution of pixelation in Illustrator, if you applied some type of effects of rasterization (such as shadows).  It is, as far as I know, a maximum of 300 PPI in pixelation effects.  In General, when using a CTP (computer-to-plate) pre-press, a 5080dpi output resolution is common to generate a point as thin as 150 lines per inch.  Now get you to a point where you can understand the fundamentals and they understand no pixelation.  No deer at the level of the sender.

  • CS6 save the trace appears not

    Hello

I made a path in photoshop cs6 and you want to save and load it back in, but the save path does not come more from the drop path, make a right click or double click...

Also I have not seen where I would put the path on my HD and how to load a path in return?

    Pls share how it works.

    Kind regards

    Frank

When you double-click a way to work a way save as dialog for path name. The path is then stored in the Panel traced and stays there when you save the document.

However, if you need the path of access to another application, you can goto file > export > traces to illustrator. This will create a file I that contains a path with no line and no fill. Just keep in mind when you view it in another application. It requires a program such as Illustrator to give it a fill and a stroke or.

  • Save the order in PS: tiff or jpeg first?

It is perhaps an obvious question, but I would be grateful of any advice.

I have an ongoing project where I need to save multiple files in PS.  I'm opening the raw (NEF) files and their processing in Photoshop.  I need to keep a copy of tiff for archival purposes and a JPEG as an accessible file.  When I save as in PS, this will affect the quality of the image if I first save the tiff or jpeg format?  In other words, if I save the file as a jpeg, is converted to a JPEG in PS?  And if I then save in tiff format it will be a tiff degraded because it is saved in a jpeg file?

I hope someone has an answer!

    Stuart

I may be wrong on this, but if you have a file open, whatever, as long as you don't close then reopen the image. Jpeg compression does not affect the image which opened, just the version stored on the disc.

You can launch a file with FileReference selection dialog. You can save the settings using a SharedObject (like a cookie).

    Hello Marlon.

Do you have 'activated' your subscription by logging in with your Adobe ID/email address and password? If this is not the case, click on the license of this software in the window that appears when you start Acrobat and connect with your username / password to Adobe.

Please let us know how it goes.
