  I have a HP Pavilion 17-e031sa laptop bought only 2 weeks ago running Windows 8.  The CTRL key does not work as it should.  In general, I would like to use it with the left button of the mouse to select non-consecutive items for the copy, but this won't work for this function.  It doesn't seem to be the key itself, because it does not work in the combination of keys ctrl/alt/delete.  I tried to uninstall the keyboard driver and restart, but without success.  Any help would be appreciated.

  Sorry for the confusion, I knew that these keys would not do the function you're looking for. I wanted to know if these shortcuts worked using the CTRL key. So we can see if it works this particular function or all keys ctrl shortcuts work. Quick access keys did what they were supposed to do? For example, the Ctrl + X cut the selected text, or Ctrl-Esc opens the start menu?

  Trying to see if there something wrong with the key itself or is someone wrong with this particular feature you try.

  I am currently evaluating Adobe Robohelp 10 version for one of my writings of technical architecture. Requesting assistance to the earlier hedges high time below Said.

  I compiled the content/manual written in with the permission of the design editor file -> Generate -> main layout (Multiscreen HTML5...). On the display of the main layout to contents or Index , Glossary, robohelp system does not provide with any option of scrolling down , or <Ctrl + end > works for me and proving the major handicap display the content available at the bottom of the page. But <Ctrl + F > conclusion by these words takes me to the desired part of the screen and then < Ctrl + home > does not work.

  (tried to attempt some research and analysis by updating my browser IE 8 to IE 10: does not)

  Problem with new tabs not opening can be caused by the Ask.com toolbar (Tools > Modules > Extensions) (AskTbWBV5/3.11.3.15590 in the user agent of Firefox 3.6.x). This extension has been may be disabled after the update.

  Edit: I brain locked and posted this as Alt + Enter. I didn't do that.

  I had this problem (sort of). I could not use alt + enter to open my bookmarks and history in a new tab. But for research, alt-enter worked. In addition, I could not use ^, #, *, etc. in order to limit the results in the location/awesome bar.

  Turns, an extension (Omnibar) was the cause of the problem. People with disabilities and everything works as it should.

  Until today, I could search for web pages with Ctrl + F. It stopped working today. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and it still doesn't work. It does not work when I use the Find command.

  I have a picture of merger of large photo and wanted content aware fill the missing pieces. When I try to use the tool select selects while I hold my mouse down button, but as soon as I let go it seems to disappear or jump to a completely different place. This only happens in part checkered with no picture, I can choose things very well in the image itself.

  My guess is that it doesn't work because the image is too large? 48 k x 5 k

  I might try just the Spot Healing Brush instead, the thought seems too well to manage things.

  Just to add to this, nothing to do with the size of the image that I can't select a very small image either. Basically I can only select the photo to actaully rather than the grid around the outside part when I want to fill it with content.

  After you ctrl click on the layer to load the transparency of the layers:
