Culture a 4K video at 1080 p

I took some video of president Obama visit to Yosemite last weekend with a Sony RX10M3. Many of the shots were in the range of 600 mm maximum zoom. Since I have given more available than required pixels for 1080 p on Apple TV, I assumed so that I could crop the video in first Pro CC to show, say, just the section in the frame has Obama.

So I applied the cropping effect, but I do not know how to set the settings so that I get full frame 1080 p. Depending on the effect of music and culture, there are different black bars on the edges of the frame.  Since the location of the update in the framework changes, I need crop different portions of the image at different times.

So this 4K shot:

R10_Yosemite 2016.06.17-19_C0016-2.MP4.00_11_21_03.Still002.jpg

I want this section only in 1080 p (sorry, slightly different shot here, but illustrates the point):

R10_Yosemite 2016.06.17-19_C0016-2.MP4.00_11_21_03.Still002 cropped.jpg

Best practices suggestions would be appreciated.

Place the clips in a timeline of 1920 x 1080.

When on the timeline, select the clip, right-click, set the size of the image.

This will make the clips to adapt.

If you want to zoom in on the clips go in effect options and intensify the clips. 100% Max.

Use the position to get them how you want that they adapt to the screen.

After you apply the effect of cropping (fx effects/processing/crop), you change the cropping effect under apply effects/Applied effects Palette/panel expanded Crop which is placed there once you apply the crop effect to the clip. Please see screenshot for the expanded Panel harvest sliders that allow a culture you want.

Good idea to watch the first Elements 12 Mac tryout to make sure that the program is compatible with your IT environment and responds to the needs of your video.

If you do the crop with the crop effect, you shouldn't have to use the presets for PiP under fx effects/Presets for all of this. The effects of culture works on photos and videos. The program comes with a working space Expert and fast. For the FX transform cultures, see the Expert work.

  • CAN first 14 elements (or most recent) cultures, and resizing videos?

I need a video editor. The price of the Premier Pro is excessive.

I would like to know if Prime elements can crop video and video clips?

I would like to know if, when you crop, you can resize the video cropped to its original resolution and the size of the screen. e.g. when cropping a photograph, the size of the file and the resolution is reduced.

First 11 to 14 has an effect of culture items under fx effect/Transform. Once applied to the mounting clip, it can be edited under apply effects/Applied effects Palette/panel expanded Crop. The screenshot is of elements 13/13.1 first, but characteristic of the culture is identical to that of 11 to 14.

As described in the Adobe documents on effects reference

The effect of cropping deletes lines of pixels on the edges of an element and, if you select the Zoom option, automatically resizes the clip adorned with its original dimensions. Use the sliders to crop each edge of the element separately. You can crop in pixels or as a percentage of the clamp.

  • video fps 1080 p 60 import does not correctly

So I try to get a 1080 p 60 fps video in first to change, but I'm running into some problems when importing. I'll preface this by saying that I know that video is indeed works very well as I open it in VLC and it renders perfectly in 60 fps. The project is also in the correct parameters; 1080 p, 60 fps.

Here is where the problem starts well; I try to import the .mp4 and first he plays only audio. I read somewhere to try to change the extension to .mp4 to .mov, and it worked partially. The video imported with audio, 1080 p, good quality, BUT it was at 10 frames per second. I have opened the same .mov file in VLC and it plays at 60 fps, 1080 p, its fine.

So, first is messing up somewhere and I'm trying to find a way so that it can correctly, read my bloody video at 60 fps. If I check the properties of the two mp4 files, and when I change it to .mov, said 60 fps 1080 p etc but first just will not import correctly.

I appreciate all the comments, hoping to get this figured out! Thank you!

I suspect that it may be variable because the files have different rates, even if I specify for the program records at 60 fps.

    BBoss salvation,

You have images image variable rate on your hands. This isn't 60 fps. You need to transcode these images in order to interfere in Premiere Pro.

  • Video conversion 1080/25i 1080/30 p

I have a project where 98% of the video sequence is interlaced 1080/25, so my project settings are based on it.  I need to incorporate progressive video shot in 1080/30 minutes.  I tried different options within PP2015, but none of them give satisfactory results.  30 fps video content contains a lot of lateral movement in the image, so the effect of the loss of images is quite pronounced.  I need to keep the video 30 FPS to its original time length so I can't use the option to slow the 30 fps at 25 frames per second, to forget the audio problems associated with this, the resulting length of the clips are too long to be used and cannot be changed later.  Interpolation makes the output look even worse, so I don't know what could be done here.  Any suggestions?

    Steve

For best results you need a converter of high quality material, like the Alchemist, Snell, post houses will offer this service. I have a Teranex BM that I use, it is not as good as the Snell but much less expensive. If you want to drop the box an example of some of your videos I have he will cross the Teranex to allow you to see what he can do.

  • video format 1080 p/60

I recently shot the video using my camcorder Panasonic HDC-HS900 using the 1080 p 60 format.  I use Adobe first Elements 9.  I set up a new project, but haven't seen a pre-defined corresponding to 1080 p 60.  I took AVCHD Lite 720 p 60 and one (file MTS) video files added to the project.  When I saw the video, it went well for a few seconds, but then become unstable and very bad.  My computer is about 4 years old.  It has an Intel dual core 2.4 GHz and 4 GB of RAM.

Any suggestions here?  That I should

    (1) change to another preset?

    (2) convert my MTS file to a different format?  If so, what tool would I use for this?

    (3) make another option?  I hope that my computer is powerful enough to do this, because I don't want to have to buy a new.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I use PE10 for months edititing 1080 p 60 files from a camcorder near twins (HDC-SDT750) and a Sony HX9V.  I use a laptop which is two years old and has a lot of memory.  I had no idea that 1080 p 60 was 'not supported '.  In fact, with the exception of this forum, I can't find documentation that says it is not supported.

Bill T74 has written, "I... one of the video files (file MTS) added to the project.  When I saw the video, it went well for a few seconds, but then become unstable and very bad. »

Don't worry about this.  The preset of the project is for viewing in real time of your project.  Rendering by pressing reads the original files and makes a temporary file used during editing.  It works pretty hard computer because he's trying to make it look like the final product.   The preset that counts is the tab share.  The preset on part is where she is rendered using all markers that you set in the project, to make a usable and optimized video for YouTube or your TV 55 ".  And it may take some time.  In other words, the computer takes all the time is needed to read from your frame of a film made and original at the same time a completely new video file that will play smoothly if played on the device, as it was intended.

    Bill T74 have also asked, "I took AVCHD Lite 720 p 60"

That one works for me PE10.  Rendering line red does not appear in my time line when you use 1080 p 60.  It might be because the pace is matched.  Defining the project preset to AVCHD1080i create make it red me line.

Then Bill T74 asked, ' do another option?  I hope that my computer is powerful enough to do this, because I don't want to have to buy a new. "On another forum, I followed one year it seems common for owners of the Panasonic 700/750/800/900 camcorders are unaware the software that comes with it is called HD Writer.  My version is 2.6 and probably yours is 3.0.  His goal is to make all the the Pansonic has usable, including 1080 p 60.  The manual included on the disc is more than 130 pages.  You must read, or at least the scanner, to understand what he can do.  Included is the ability to trim clips, split clips, join the clips, add titles, add transitions and making movies.  She did this while preserving the quality of the original video. It will put the final vidoe on a Blu - Ray disc, a disc playable AVCHD to BD (30-minute), a DVD, uploading to YouTube or nothing, that you might want.  It doesn't have the wonderful selection of color controls, effects, and audio tools that has PE.

HD Writer is a major imperative.  It should be used to transfer files from your camera to your computer.  The reason is that each camera .m2ts file makes, three smaller files are made with that understanding for HD Writer.  If you have already copied your files on your computer, HD Writer will be useless for you.

If you don't first elements to work on your 1080 p 60 files, HD Writer will convert it to the 1.0 AVCHD format that works better.  In other words, a file 1920x1080p60 can covert 1920x1080i30 file.  (In version 2.6 Select tool > film > Conversion of Format.)

  • Reduction of scale 4 k video 1080.

I shot a few vide0 in 4 k and my computer is having a hard time trying to run. I read somewhere that 4 k can be sized down to 1080 and then reduced to 4 k when done editing. I have it going in sequence settings after that video 4 k is in my time line. When I change the settings of the sequence up to 1920 x 1080 it zooms the way film in. Does nothing to play smoother back.

I wasn't expecting the zoom in, am I doing this right?

I want to change 4 k video in 1080 and then resize back to 4 k. Is it possible to do?

  • Performance of YouTube on some videos

So I came across a strange bug that I can reproduce on my MBP 2014 (Iris Pro) and my iMac end 2015 (with GPU), some videos on YouTube compleltey kill the performance of tabs. Stutters and takes about 4 seconds to go full screen, dropping about 100 images each time the page (if you look at "Stats for nerds" of Youtube). While the other videos of the same chain run perfectly, silky.

    Example of excellent performance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8TiGWkoStI

How to replicate, just load to the top of the video in 1080 p, then scroll quickly up and down, double-click on it to go full-screen, that sort of thing...

Please let me know if you have the experience, can't reproduce the problem on chrome.

  • Why YouTube on Firefox offers quality options so little even if the video can be viewed in better quality on Chrome or when it is embeded?

I noticed that YouTube offers only three quality options for videos seen on the page of the video (240 p, 360 p and 720 p) even while the video offerings also are significantly higher. An example of this is the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvY5irWC7kA (aygoman/u / / r / Oman); seen in Chrome or when they are embedded in a page (such as through the RES addon), the video options are more verbose: 240 p, 360 p, 480 p, 720 p, 1080 p, 2160 p.

While I do not typically consider above 720 p, sometimes I want the ability to watch a video in 1080 p or 480 p and cannot for some reason.

  • Question on export in 4K vs 1080 p

    Hello. First timer here!

I use Final Cut Pro X to make films composed mainly of still images (as a slideshow with Ken Burn effects)

Photos come from Canon 5 d III via Lightroom. (Very Hi ground)

My Question: Why the files coming out of the compressor is exactly the same size (500 MB for example) that I've specified 1080 p or 4 k?

I mean, I don't understand why a 15-minute video in 1080 p is the same size and the same movies exported in 4K resolution. ?

    Thanks for the help

First of all, what version of FCP X do you use?

Second, what are your project settings for your slideshow (Cmd - J will report to the Inspector)?

Thirdly, how you bring your video of the compressor and which settings to apply to your video are you using?

    Thank you.

  • How do I have the settings for WMM return @ 1080 p 16:9 but it downloads on YouTube in 480 p?

I downloaded the settings for 720 p and 1080 p made in 16:9 and 4:3 and added to my record of profiles on Windows Movie Maker as the instructions said, but when I made the video in 16 / 9 in 1080 p and upload it to YouTube, it's always at the 480 p standard? People say that you can render videos in 1080 p, but mine won't. Tried to figure this point during a day or two with no luck and Google is no help with anything.

It's maybe a stupid question... but you have saved the Movie Maker

  • Version 14, I can't export to 1080 p

I'm trying to understand why I can't take my 1920 x 1080 29 Mp4 files and export to a folder to a DVD 1080 p movie.  I can do it with version 12, but it only offers the ability to export as a mode of DVD 720 x 480. So I chose AVCHD on DVD and it filled the ISO in the folder, but the disc will not play... it says it's Blu Ray, but I chose not Blu Ray, I chose to export the DVD to the folder. It seems that I often find things I can do is no longer in Version 14. I am certainly glad that I held to the old version. Is it possible to burn my videos in 1080 p to DVD movie?

    Thank you

You may be confused making a DVD AVCHD with creation of a DVD. An AVCHD Disc is actually a BluRay disk file, except that it is recorded on a DVD. You can not play on a DVD player. This isn't a DVD. But, if your film high definition is long within half an hour, you can save this file in HD on a DVD and play on SOME Blu - Ray players.

You do not have the ability to create a DVD high resolution that can play on a DVD player in version 12.

In export control, that's what he said... Exit summary: 1280 x 720 (1.0), 29.97 FPS,.

I want it to be 1080

    Help, please. Thank you!

Right click on one of your clips in 1080 in the project Panel, and select new sequence of the clip. This will make a sequence to match the majority of your videos. Copy all of the clips in your original sequence and paste it into the new. Titles can now be too small, on the right, click the clip on the timeline and selected the scale to the size of the image.
