    Hi GraceAlexander

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

Please try this > on your Homscreen to open your browser > press the Menu key > Options > scroll down to clear browsing data (mark all fields) and then click clean now.

Once it's done perform a reboot of traction battery like that, even if your device is power on remove the battery, wait for a min. then reinsert back. After restarting, please check if you are able to check your email.

Reload your OS or upgrade your operating system.

He now works for unexplained reasons.

Its now 2 days after the start of the service with Bell.

I deleted the email account for the nth time (do this time 6 or 7) but this morning NO error message.

    He has no explanation.

I tried to configure an AOL e-mail and... HE has WORKED with no error message.

Then I tried setting my Sympatico email upward but delete the synchronization, and now I get emails. WOW, its been a crazy 2 days I had to buy a new BB.

Not sure if sync address had nothing to do with him because I was getting the same AOL installation error messages.

Just happy that I can receive e-mails.

I think it had to do with the service and Bell... but who KNOWS! Ecstatic!

  • BlackBerry smartphone Curve 9360 sometimes warms us up a little bit and the battery is discharged

Hi, my blackberry 9360 is sometimes a really weird thing. Once a week, after that I used the device to check email, check facebook or even simply by removing the door in leather and put it right back it drains the battery at a very fast pace and hotter than usual. I'm not aware immediately, but when I use the unit 3 hours later for example the battery is almost all gone and the unit is warmer than usual. Please not that it is warmer, but at a level acceptable, just as if it had been used during this period of time, not overheating. I charge the unit and check the activity monitor application and the CPU was mainly used by the... Idle CPU. The part of the device that heats is not the battery, but the device itself. It is rather annoying because I don't know when it will happen again. The only email account, I have installed is a Hotmail account and it goes as well with wifi on and outside. Someone has an idea it might be? Thank you in advace for help. Best regards, Alexander

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

Are sure you you are in an area where you have a good network coverage signal strength or if falls frequently.

While our BlackBerry devices can feel hot tell a long browsing session, play games, download countinous or all supported. If we hold the Menu for a few seconds, it will open a screen that will display all the programs running in the background, usually five will always be there (host, BBM, Message, phone, browser) you can always check if any other applications. run in the background.

We should always try to close Applications correctly - avoid using key end to close the applications because it just minimizes the application and let it run in the background. Instead, press the Menu key, select close or Exit to exit the application. Don't let your browser open when not in use. If programs are running in the background, it will also allow overheating and also to quick battery drainage. Please take a look at those Article I don't know that it will help you overcome your problems:

    Question

I bought this unit on 29 February. A few days later, I noticed the battery was going from 100% to 0% in a few hours, so I went in the first week to change the battery and did this and he used to work fine until a few days where the battery goes from 100% to 0% in less than an hour ago. I do use the browser and twitter a lot, but I still think that the battery must remain more than that.

    Any ideas?

Try DMZing the router to the IP address of the STATIC LAN of the device, make sure your ISP isn't as blocking ports.  This phone works with these cams

  • My blackberry 9360 blackBerry smartphones unlock

Will not unlock my blackberry 9360. The number keys work but not the keys to the letter. Its old day! Help, please!

    Hello sannas

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

To unlock your device from a device password, you have already defined, you must enter the password you have already defined. If you experience a problem then first perform a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your unit is powered. wait for a min. then reinsert back.

After the reboot, you should try to enter the password. If you have a mix of different characters in your password, and you are not able to enter properly on the keyboard for BlackBerry. For example, if your password

    • sannas123
    • And if you enter s > a > n > n > a > s > alt > 1 > 2 > 3
    • the result will be
    • sannas1er
    • You must enter
    • s > a > n > n > a > s > alt > 1 > alt > 2 > alt > 3
    • to get sannas123 on your device.

For example, while on the BlackBerry keyboard, you think you type sannas123, you actually type sannas1er. Please type it again carefully, I hope that you will be able to enter your device. Or else if you can't then your device itself will wipe away for security reasons.

Please do not use foul language.

Operating system device provided are "released" by specific carriers once that they are certified and trained to their support technicians, but still, you are able to load any carrier the same model by following the instructions below. Apparently '3' is not from the same upgrade as O2.

See the link below to download and follow the simple installation instructions to install 6.0.0.668 in your 9300 OS.

Make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close the office at the end Manager.

    1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.

    https://swdownloads.BlackBerry.com/downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=D840CC5D906C3E9C84374C8919D2...

    2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
    3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

Note: Some users may be concerned they will void their warranty of device by loading an OS from another carrier. There is really nothing to fear. Please read more information about it here: http://www.port3101.org/power-users/296-blackberry-os-upgrade-including-betas-myths-dispelled.html
