  Hi all

  Strange problem that just started this morning. The slider in Premiere Pro seems to be slightly off, above and to the left.

  For example if I want to add a fade at the end of a clip that I drag the transition from the effects Panel and place the cursor on the end of an element in the sequence. However, instead of being able to drop into position, I get a cursor with a cross next to it indicating that I can't put the transition. If I then move the cursor over the clip and slightly to the left I can drop the transition on the clip no problem at all. It's as if Premiere Pro is not quite sure where the cursor is. Strangely normal selection of clips and General by clicking on the interface is very good, if only when dragging them or hovering over something that this issue appears.

  It is also limited to Premiere Pro as any other application under Mac OS X is presenting this behavior.

  I already checked that I have the latest updates installed and tried a reboot, but the problem persists.

  Any suggestions on how to fix it? Thank you

  After shooting most of my hair I have, as is often the way, found a simple cause and effect of the problem;

  Calmly I disconnected my second screen (it might have unplugged mid-flight as he threw toward the wall) and reduced the workspace to a 1 set screen - and voila; no cursor movement.

  Plug the second screen after giving this chance to recover program, everything is back to normal. Except my hair.

• How to create a camera profile that works with a JPG image with my color chart to check inside? [was: color Checker chart.] Really need help]

  I got a color chart to check. It came not with any software whatsoever. I shoot my images in JPG format. I know it's not really ideal but I'm on a tight budget and don't have the money for a digital SLR cameras that shoot raw. Is there anyway that I can always create a camera profile that works with a JPG image with my color chart to check inside? My table also includes RGB values below each color. Maybe I can match each color in the photo these values manually? If so how is this done?

  I've never seen software that does what you ask for JPGs, only RAWs.  The main problem is that any profile or adjustment is calculated according a JPG of a particular chart photo would apply to the other JPG photos with the same white balance.

  Jpg does not use "camera profiles" anyway in Lightroom, the profile is always integrated.

  There is a product that allows to calculate the HSL cursor offset values given a JPG photo their own table owner who looked like a color checker, but had two lines reversed so the software could not be used with a standard-checker color, unfortunately.  Now their table has twice as many patches (48), and looking at it on their site I'm not too sure that it does not always work with JPGs or if she's just raw files, now.

  The graphic and software are called SpyderCheckr of Datacolor.  There are various software that do different things, but none are using a ColorChecker, so having one is mainly a loss until you get a camera that can take raw photos, so keep a humidity and temperature controlled environment as much as possible until you have the right camera.  You can probably use the grey patches to adjust exposure, but that's all.

  Today you need not a digital SLR to have raw photos, well.  My phone Galaxy S6 with the last update of Marshmallow and the software of camera update will take photos in format raw DNG in Pro mode which I can create custom profiles camera to use a ColorChecker, although the camera is really good in itself, so when I found everything first he could make DNG I took a little but now, I usually just use the camera to make the jpg unless the shot is really important and the lighting is not too hard.  I think that S7 phone's camera is even better.

  What kind of camera do you have?  Sometimes, there are firmware hacks that allow the camera to shoot raw format even if the standard camera cannot.

  I have a problem with the 3D cursor offset brush in PS CC and not where I'm going to put the pen down. Best described by a vid is here:

  The capture is a little laggy so both brushes look a little late, in reality the cursor CS6 paintings exaclty where you'd expect it, the CC it is offset and it feels very artificial. It is more obvious on the first 2 lines.

  Thanks for the suggestion, I actually managed to solve it by enabling and disabling the checkbox "brush Pose" in the brush Panel - it was not active, but as soon as I made the brush works as it should!

• When I use the brush or eraser, an O symbol appears next to my cursor and prevents me from drawing a line. Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

Please help, this is very frustrating and disrupting my work flow! I paint each frame of the animation, so you can imagine, every other shot is quite often.
  There the layers locked below my active drawing layer, that makes me wonder if Flash is trying to tell me I can not shoot these layers, but I know that more I need these layers there to guide the design of my active layer. I have encountered this problem before with layers being locked and these. What Miss me?

  I just realized my problem!
  Sorry, it is partially due to my impatience; I get the "illegal sign" when I press a shortcut key to switch from one tool to the other and try to make a stroke when the tool has not finished "switching". So I'm going to press my button "e" with the intention to switch to Eraser tool and I will immediately draw a line, but recently, I noticed that the toolbar did not brush Eraser still at the point where I was drawing.

  It seems more difficult to describe in words than just after a simple example.  Simply click on the graphic to add sliders, drag them around as you wish and see the included points.  I used a 1-bit bitmap to detect the inner points and the draw several VI points for the polygon image.

  I sort the points so that the polygon is filled completely, form then, sometimes you see pass all of a sudden.  Not a complete solution, but a good start.

  Hello, I made an animation that once completed, it displays an iFrame that has a few fields.  The entry fields have very well on a laptop pc or mac computer, but when I use an Apple iPad, the positions of the cursor are far outside the fields as I type.

  Gotcha - have - try you with sensitive scaling disabled? After looking at this seems to be the culprit. Worth a try to isolate the problem.

• Get the picture (chart xy) cursor & draw palette/legend/graph label

  Hi, I have a problem with the Image 'Get' invoke my xy graph node.

  First, here is a screenshot of the result:

  

  As you can see, is not only an image of the chart, but the chart & all of its items 'visible '. The only way I found to avoid is to disable all items by right-clicking on the chart before you click on the button "save the chart." Is there an another more convenient way to do so?
