Cursor to burst around.

When I type my cursor suddenly somewhere else, and I have to click on it, put it back and retype. and delete what I typed in the place, she appeared, how do I fix. I have Vista and wonder if he has the problem or there at - it a known solution for this. Does anyone else have this problem?

Hi Lorna Kemp,

·         Is it a laptop or a desktop computer?

If it is a laptop, then try to update the touchpad drivers and check if the problem persists. Connect to the Web site of the manufacturer for the same thing.

For desktop computer, try to update the drivers for the chipset on the same site.

    Hi mate

I read on this issue of cursor on the different laptop models (from different manufacturers).
But in most cases, the users didn't note that the touchpad was accidentally while typing of touchpad.
You said you checked this hmm but in any case, try to disable the touchpad while typing just for test purposes

In addition, some have said that the BIOS update can also be useful
So if the most recent BIOS is available, updated it!

  • Satellite Pro 6100: cursor mouse jumps around

The mouse internal nipple on my laptop does not work, it jumps around in all directions. I tried to replace that with a USB mouse that works fine except that I hit the space bar, then the cursor will jump on the side of the screen.

It will then continue to scroll on the side of the screen, even if I bring him back. Looked at a lot of forums and it looks like a common fault but not a miracle.

    Help, please

    Hello

I put t think that it s a common fault. It could just be the keyboard malfunctioned.
One of my friends has a Tecra, and the cursor of the mouse jumped crazy on the screen.
It was not possible or very difficult to open all the windows or click on the icons.

The service provider has changed the entire keyboard and it's a solution.
Perhaps you will also need a replacement.

But what happens when allows you to disable the touchpad with FN + F9 function? Make cursor jumps when you use USB mouse?

My cursor keeps suddenly jump to a place earlier in my text.  This happens very frequently, even as I entered this information, I have to keep going back to correct where the cursor has rebounded to and the information has been entered.  It started all of a sudden, and at first I thought it must just be me, typing too fast and accidentally hit my touchpad, but I've been striking for years and never had this problem before.  In addition, another person recently used my laptop and had the same problem, so I am now convinced that it's not just me.  I took my laptop have extracted and no virus was found.

Have you tried disabling the touchpad just to see? Another thing to check is if you can set the sensitivity of it.

    I hope this helps.

  • Im still finding my cursor arrow wondering around on his own th9ugh same, I went to the ease of setting and decrease the sensitivity on the pavement.

Y at - there anyone out there who knows a smart solution to this nagging question.

I use MouseKeys for his control of the pointer, for example number key-key with Numlock off the coast.   LeftAlt + LeftShift + NumLock, press and hold to start.

FWIW, my guess is that there is a conflict for control of the pointer by more than one driver, so adding another driver can simply allow some manual control that breaks such a loop.   OTOH as far as I know, after adding the driver keys mouse could be the cause of the symptom in my case.   But I like to use MouseKeys, primarily as a left click button 5 repetition, so I've set up with stupid (fortunately rare) whims like that.

It's a laptop? If so, it is often caused by your accidentally
brush your hand against the touchpad while typing.

    Disable the touchpad.

  • The cursor moves erratically even when no mouse connected

I've had the problem for over a year now, but I never received tour to report. From time to time, my cursor moves erratic around the screen, jumping from position every few seconds. I have a MBP, but often use it plugged on a screen and mouse etc with the lid closed. The problem persists if Setup like that, even when the external mouse is disconnected, or when simply use it as a laptop. I recently wiped the hard drive and reinstalled a clean copy of Mac OS x from zero (no backup), but the problem still persists.

    Any ideas?

Looks like a hardware problem. How old is this MBP? Sometimes, when they get older, the battery may start to inflate and put pressure on the trackpad.

  • A satellite - Frozen cursor after installing a game

A game that I installed has damaged the ability of my internal mouse cursor to move around the screen. It froze just in the middle of the screen, and even if I used the system restore, it has still not fixed the problem.

I even uninstalled the game, but stil the cursor won't move. I suspect this struck dead game (called BLITZKRIEG) has corrupted my driver, but how do I get rid of this driver without having to resort to a full format of my laptop?

    Thank you.

    Hi Booney66,

Hmm... I can t imagine that the reason for the problem is the game you have installed...

Did you use the keyboard or an external mouse?
If you use the keys FN + F9 touchpad try to enable/disable the touchpad.

New touchpad driver, you can download from the official website of Toshiba: http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com

  • Cursor jumps periodically on Portege M700

Can anyone propose a resolution to a problem I have?

While I'm typing, the cursor jumps periodically around on the screen. This means that a moment I'm on a particular line, the next I'm inserting text in a line somewhere else in the document.

It is a defective machine or is this a "feature" of the M700?

Before you start typing disable TouchPad by using the FN + F9 key combination. I do the same.
Try it. I hope that the slider will not jump around again.

    Hello

    1. don't you make changes to the computer?

    Method 1.
Disable the touchpad on your laptop and check. You can also try to use an external mouse and check if the problem persists. Download and install the latest drivers touchpad from the manufacturer's website.
