Curve Smartphones blackBerry 8520 ceased to send and receive e-mail yesterday

Help!  I'm a model total tech and may not know what happened.  I have just stop to receive and be able to send e-mails.  Phone and texts are still working fine. I've got a signal.

Things I tried it turned then turn it on again.  Also taken and replace the battery.

Suggestions (hopefully simple) Please!

Thank you very much!!

SUCCESS!

a unique 3 hours phone call (no kidding - there is a clock on my desk phone) on the phone being transferred in both directions between AT & T and Blackberry, then AT & T said they needed from 1 hour in addition to fix.it and I didn't have to be on the phone for that.   Phew.  Do nice with my co-workers after this vacuum of time.

Thanks again for your contribution.

  • Problem send and receive e-mail with Windows Mail

For two days, my Windows Mail service ceased to send or receive e-mail addresses. My internet service provider is Comcast. A Comcast tech checked the problem and determined that the problem is with Windows Mail and not Comcast. Any ideas on how to get the system in place and work?  When I click send/receive in Mail the screen shows 'Permission', request my username and password (that I have provide) eventually receive the following error messageAccount: "mail.comcast.net", server: 'mail.comcast.net', Protocol: POP3, server response: '-ERR name username/password invalid ', Port: 110, secure (SSL): no, Server error: 0x800CCC90, error number: 0x800CCC92

Here is the answer.  Log in to Windows mail.  Click on tools.  Access accounts.  Click on your username.  Go to properties.   Click on the box under servers, click the box my server requires a secure outgoing connection. This must be a POP3 connection.  Under incoming mail must say: mail.comcast.net.  Under outgoing mail it should say: smtp.comcast.net go to the Advanced tab, your outgoing mail must be 587 & your incoming mail must be 110.  None of the boxes requiring sure connectrion must be verified on the Advanced tab.  On the general tab, you must enter your mind to email Comcast.  On the Server tab, incoming mail, you must enter your username & password.  Also, not everyone at Comcast knows what is happening.  I had to tell me that my email problem was caused by a virus, when in fact, it is because their system was down.  They had me go to Microsoft.com download a virus removal toll which has led in turn to make me lose my all the Windows operating system.

Go to tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Connection and check or change the connection properties.  You will need to remove the account and then add it again, but try first and also check tools | Options | Connections.

If a firewall or a malware application blocks maybe port that use browsers.  Try turning it off to see if the problem persists.

    Change BOTH transfer you numbers...

Open your e-mail program (probably Windows Mail) > tools > accounts > your aol account > properties > advanced... change
    Incoming (IMAP) to 143 mail
    Outgoing (SMTP) to 587 mail
P.S. in the servers tab, take care to put a check mark on "my server requires authentication".

  • Cannot not emails send and receive Live Mail 2011

I can't send or receive e-mails on my mail2011 windows live

I use WLM 2011 daily and many of my clients do too.

This can be caused by a number of things.

Check the port numbers and the various functions of controls in setting up the account.  Your Internet mail provider should help with that.

If you have a gmail account, it could be a very specific problem with gmail and WLM.  I can tell you about it.

Sometimes you get to the point where you remove the setting up the account on WLM, and then re - install the account.  Sometimes the set account can be damaged

Try to repair.  Go to the uninstall programs feature, select Windows Live Essentials and click on uninstall.  It will offer you the opportunity to fix it.

Under no circumstances even consider installing the 2012 version.  It is all messed up and you will not be able to get version 2011, which is superior in any case.

  • Problems with Windows Live Mail send and receive e-mails

    Hello

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium and I used Windows Live Mail 2012 (WLM) for many years without any problems, and I prefer it much to Outlook.com. I have my own personal e-mail account and three other accounts available in WLM. I can send and receive emails from three other accounts, but my own account keeps giving the error message:

Can't send or receive messages on behalf of Clive Read.
    Server error: 4402
    Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx '.
Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x8DE00002

That being said, I can actually send emails, but cannot receive them-weird!

I spent several hours internet research solutions, including Microsoft pages, forums, etc and later of the end of "solutions" offered in 2013. Many of the suggestions I've tried, without success. I ran other controls have shown that initpki.dll is absent, but I don't know if it's possible causes and, if this is the case, my attempts to locate, re - save or download one have failed.

My version of WLM doesn't have a "Tools" link, and I can't seem to find where the incoming and outgoing port settings. It gets really tedious, so I'd be grateful for all solutions to update to my problem and perhaps an explanation as to what may have caused it in the first place.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not send and receive E-Mails / BB Internet Service does not

    Hello

got a 9000 "BOLD" for Christmas and just move my Pearl 8100 via Switch Device Manager to 9000 "BOLD". One problem so far: although I copied all the data including my accounts of personal emails from the bead on the "BOLD", I can't send / receive E-Mails.

Just found that Blackberry Internet Services do not now. If I understand the manual, I have to activate the device. I just sent the message HRT, but is it enough?

In the email setup screen I just find the configuration of the company, not an option to set my personal E-mail-accounts.

    What should do?

    TIA

    Ralf

    Hello

OK, now it works. The "BOLD" had to be activated manually by my carrier; He didn t connect automatically as it should. Then I had to make several soft resets, changed the unit - so I needed another site (country), not that we mention here - and finally the "BOLD" connected to the Initernet - finally!

So, the BB seems to be a bit complicated; never encountered such problems using my Pearl. But in any case, now it works.

    Thanks for your support!

  • Curve Smartphones blackBerry 8520 connected to network bb

I have a blackberry 8520 connected wireless to my ISP BT

It will connect to the internet and allows you to surf the internet, but won't let me sign in yahoo mail. When I try the login box appears for a few seconds, then disappears behind an ad that comes immediately after it and the lock on the top of the page changes straight to an orange padlock.  I disconnected the e-mail on the pc and logged in again to see what is happening there. The exact same announcement came, but the login box was above it, allowing me to connect.

The phone is connected to the network and works well.  I was able to connect with no problem.  The only thing I can find is now on the phone itself. Check connections, my homehub watch is on, but also shows a white dash, which means that it is not connected to the network.  I can't find anything in the help files on how to reconnect to the network.

Can someone point my in the right direction.

Thanks for reading and in advance for any help offered.

Interesting. But if it is said that, just try clicking on Yes. And just, the PSK is the pre-shared key, or the wifi password.

If it still does not respond, the solution may be to back up your phone using the BlackBerry Desktop Software and do a security wipe. To do this, go to Options > Security Options > Security wipe. Do a wipe of the application data. Once it is finished, perform a selective restore by using the BlackBerry Desktop Software and restore only the databases you need (e.g. messages, address book, calendar, etc.).

Then you should be able to start from scratch.

  • Send and receive e-mails

When you try to send or receive mail on windows mail I get the following message. "" Account: 'mail.gotalk.net.au', server: 'mail.gotalk.net.au', Protocol: POP3, server response: '-ERR Authentication failed.', Port: 110, secure (SSL): no, Server error: 0x800CCC90, error number: 0x800CCC92 "my operating system is Windows Vista Basic. Wendy

Try to remove your e-mail account, then close and reopen WinMail and then add your account to e-mail back again.  This usually solves the problem under Vista.

Also check interference antivirus (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3) and it can help to compact and repair the database of WinMail (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/).
