  I spoke to my local camera shop, they said, that it should be referred to the Tamron for the update of the firmware, they said, that Tamron has a fairly good hand around time of approximately 5 days. I've probably will send mine once I'm done with a shoot.

  The lens works very well for me, normally, the only problem for me is Live View. If this is not the case, use the LIve View, it seems to work great so it's not paralyze me right now, but it would be nice to just get it fixed if Live View will work.

  The camera is also on Firmware V1.01 so their will be updates firmware for it also and as a previous post said that Canon will also address the issues with 3rd party lenses. Great! After that all the Canon doesn't want people who have glasses of third parties avoiding the body of the camera for this problem. It's logical Canon would solve this problem.

  So far it is a minor bump with third party lenses. I've always been able to work with my Tamron and Sigma lenses. Just a couple of workarounds until the firmware is updated. It isn't a deal breaker for me. This camera is a pleasure to shoot with and I am very pleased with the Canon has advanced in the development, image quality with the dynamic range and low light performance. I am happy and have no regrets.

  I'm having a problem where my W2K8 R2 VMs are not stop / correct commissioning after a failover.

  I have 2 servers in my group (2 x HP DL380 G7) running on ESXi 5.0.

  The administration server is an HP DL180 G6 running VCenter 5.0.

  I have two VMotion & configured HA.

  All virtual machines are linking my drive (HP P2000) FC array and my two ESXs have access to LUNS configured on my disk array.

  What we do is, we have x amount of virtual machines running on ESX1 and an amount x of virtual machines running on ESX2.

  Manually power on ESX2 shut down us to see if the virtual machines running on ESX2 migrate correctly ESX1.

  The VMs TO migrate ESX1 after disabling ESX2.

  But when they are migrated and restarted on ESX1, which VMs will tell you something on the lines of: "Windows has not shutdown correctly. You want to start in safe mode / normal mode / prompt etc. »

  That is right.  An HA event will restart a virtual machine.  He cannot stop him from the accident.  Windows will crash.  The NTFS journal will usually protect file system issues, as it does with physical windows.  HA gives you just the protection against material defects, provides high availability, but not of fault tolerant, in itself.

  I've migrated to a new laptop about two weeks ago. Migrate to using Windows Easy Transfer. We use Remote Desktop Manager of devolution for RDP connections on my data center. I installed the latest version 8.3.1.0 since I am trying to set me up on top of another computer. It worked very well for most of the day, once I installed and imported my connections to the server. After maybe 6 hours of use, I was unable to reconnect to disconnected sessions or open new sessions. I thought it maybe something with this version, so I uninstalled with Revo Uninstaller to remove all left behind in the registry items, etc. Thinking that perhaps it was this new version, after a reboot, I installed the previous version we used without problem for months, 8.0.12.0.  Work started very well and then after half of my day, it's the same thing, impossible to connect to a disconnected or open sessions. After the closure of Remote Desktop Manager, it leaves the process running there a connection with something, that's not normal behavior. Then, while he was doing this, I tried Windows Remote Desktop connection to try to connect to a server and it gave me the same result. I type my server name in, it could begin the login process, warn me NLA, after pressing Yes and that she would go to the remote session configuration with the loading bar. However, it does connect not what either (work servers I know). Does not seem to mistake, just never loads anything.   Happened yesterday again, worked for about 6 hours of the day and then wham! Will not work until a reboot. Worked fine on my old laptop and everybody on my team, this new notebook computer server. Trying to remove KB2592687. Someone mentioned that was causing errors with RemoteApps on 2008 R2. Thought it was worth a shot.

  I have a HP DV 9291ea laptop. It is a model of 17 inches with a keypad on it. The problem is, when the NumLock key is turned on allows the keyboard number pad of the EEG.   This thread has been dead for a few years, but since I had to really search to find the answer to this question, I thought I'd share what has worked for me.

  In Win7, go to start-> Accessories-> accessibility-> Ease of Access Center, click on "Make the mouse easier to use" and uncheck "Turn on mouse keys".

  It fixed my problem on a HP G72 with numeric keypad integrated.
