Warranty Toshiba Laptop does not work after having been repaired by their service twice.
Model: Satellite L870-165

Computer does not start, rest with black screen showing: No bootable device - please restart your system

After restarting the same thing happening again.
I called incident phone Toshiba and after trying several options, I said take it for repair service.
Told me first of all it was the hard drive, then called me to indicate this resettlement and ultimately it was the motherboard, what would have changed. The next day, being chosen computer repair returned to give exactly the same mistake, due to a malfunction only one night.

After another call to 902 Toshiba warranty service, I went back to take the service, this time I changed the hard drive. When I arrived home the computer does not start only once, again gives the same error.

I think this team comes with a default factory that his solution is not easy, because even the technical service told me I didn't know what to do with it.

    I did a new install of Win 7 pro 64-bit, and after it does not my fan, not at the start or in Windows. To check if it the fan itself was broken I re-installed Vista instead and the fan worked again!
    Installed new Win 7 but now it's silent :( I checked in the BIOS (latest version 1.80) but I couldn't find any option here. Am I missing a driver or something?

    Maybe a stupid question now, but have you tried to use the 32 bit version?
