  • Question on first Elements 8 custom presets

    I have the first Elements 8. When starting a new project and through the presets, none match that my camera is recording. Is there a way to create a custom preset? I tried to start a new project and going to "Edit > Preferences > general" but it won't let me edit fields. I found an old thread where someone had something, you could download to add more presets, but it was a bad link.

    The video, I'm wanting to change is 1280 x 720, 59.4 fps, mpeg. But the camera (gopro HD) also has other options resoloution/framerate. I also have a Nikon D3s DSLR, don't know if there is a "Preset" for this I have not got that far yet. It will open and allow me to edit in the other presets, but I want it is good.

    I hope someone can help out me!

    Well, it is my opinion, based on my experience of 7 years with this program and hosting this forum.

    I guess that's you if you want to take it or not.

  • How can I open the "Convert to indexed colors" dialog box with custom presets?

    Hello

    I need to automatically open the "Convert to indexed colors" dialog box in Photoshop. Before and after that I have a few scripts that are running, so it is not possible to open the dialog manually. Also, I want to put some custom presets (like the number of colors, etc.).

    Find something similar to what I want for the color range selection (opens the dialog with the presets you put in that):

    function colorrange(enabled, withDialog, fuzziness) {
        if (enabled != undefined && !enabled)
          return;
        var dialogMode = (withDialog ? DialogModes.ALL : DialogModes.NO);
        var desc1 = new ActionDescriptor();
        desc1.putInteger(app.charIDToTypeID('Fzns'),fuzziness);
        var desc2 = new ActionDescriptor();
        desc2.putDouble(app.charIDToTypeID('Lmnc'), 31.22);
        desc2.putDouble(app.stringIDToTypeID("a"), 0.86);
        desc2.putDouble(app.stringIDToTypeID("b"), 0.31);
        desc1.putObject(app.charIDToTypeID('Mnm '), app.charIDToTypeID('LbCl'), desc2);
        var desc3 = new ActionDescriptor();
        desc3.putDouble(app.charIDToTypeID('Lmnc'), 95.34);
        desc3.putDouble(app.stringIDToTypeID("a"), 54.59);
        desc3.putDouble(app.stringIDToTypeID("b"), 49.85);
        desc1.putObject(app.charIDToTypeID('Mxm '), app.charIDToTypeID('LbCl'), desc3);
        desc1.putInteger(app.stringIDToTypeID("colorModel"), 0);
        var desc4 = new ActionDescriptor();
        var desc4 = executeAction(app.stringIDToTypeID('colorRange'), desc1, dialogMode);
      };

    How can I get the same thing for the indexed color conversion dialog box? Apart from doing a lot of guessing about the stringIDs.

    Is there some kind of "table of choice" for char and string ID?

    Guys thank you very much in advance! This forum has been a great help on several occasions.

  • Remove a border from a custom preset

    I created a custom preset in Lightroom. It has the same border in the preset, as seen in the photo below.

    I want to keep the preset I created, but I certainly don't want the white border on all my photos.

    How can I remove only the white border? I googled and can't find any option to remove the white border. I have some photos that I need to finish quickly, and this has put the brakes on everything. Help, please.

    Thank you!!

    Look down the bottom of the Panel. Looks to presetting turned post-harvest vignetting. Click on the little button icon in the upper left corner of this section and that you disable the vignetting.

  • Is there a way to delete custom presets? (First 11 Mac items)

    I have been experimenting with different output options for 1080 p and 720 p AppleTV and have created many custom presets.  I would like to get rid of many who did not give good results.  I have not found an option to remove presets custom tab share in elements11.  There is no available trash icon.  In addition, I have had no success in the predefined settings file.  Someone knows how to do this?

    Problem solved.  The predefined custom names, I used for testing were long and pushed the trash at the edge of the window icon.  By resizing the main window pre elements, I was able to see the icon and remove the unwanted presets.

  • Export of custom presets to 'Share' of first Elements 9

    I know that I can create presets customized under the 'Action' tab using the "Advanced" option, but I would like to export these presets and copy it on to a server so that everyone in my Department can access the presets and copy it on their computers.  I'm having a time of riduclous tries to find a way to do it, and I wonder if it is possible at all.  I found .erp systempresets folder, but have had no luck locating those custom made.

    Does anyone know if this is possible and how to export/locate these presets custom .erp?

    Danke.

    I figured out how to make it... and I'll share.

    When you create a custom preset in Premiere Elements, it lands in a directory on your user profile.

    • Where they land:  C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Premiere Elements\9.0\SC\Presets\PC\MPEG\HD
    • In the presets folder, it will create an appropriate path based on your predefined settings.  My screening was for the computer (PC), mpeg (MPEG) format and in high definition (HD) - so the final folder destinations.

    I also found that when you create a custom preset in Premiere Pro, you can import it into Premiere Elements.

    • Custom presets created in Premiere Pro can be found here: C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\AME\5.5\Presets

    You can also import both the elements and the Pro custom presets in the presets for items foder systems.

    • This should make the visible custom presets for all users on this computer.
    • System of Presets Directory: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe first elements 9\sharingcenter\Presets

    Thanks for trying to help me, and I will say that Hunt your suggestion gave me some ideas that have helped me find - so thanks for that!

  • Batch optimizing PDF files using the custom preset?

    Anyone know if it is possible to batch optimize PDF files using a preset, I created in the 'Optimize PDF' in the optimization options advanced window? Is there a way to this script? I can't find a way to do it. The standard settings to "Reduce file size" are not suitable for what I'm trying to do. Thank you!

    Yes, you can do it. In the dialog box modifier change your action, add a Save command

  • How to edit a custom preset in the command line?

    Please,

    I want to create a preset to use whenever I have import photos into Lightroom.

    This preset will only use the automatic tool of the tone. But I need the autotune not auto adjust contrast, I wish that all photos have a value of 0 in contrast

    I tried several ways to modify the file .lrtemplate below without success.

    s = {
      id = "2FA4D5C3-162C-4CBD-93D6-492D4833F03F",
      internalName = "Custom AutoTone",
      title = "Custom AutoTone",
      type = "Develop",
      value = {
      settings = {
      AutoBrightness = false,
      AutoContrast = false,
      AutoExposure = false,
      AutoShadows = false,
      AutoTone = true,
      ProcessVersion = "6.7",
      },
      uuid = "369F0A93-39A1-4428-8C6E-08660C4D3799",
      },
      version = 0,
    }

    Is easy to change a value of 1 to 5 manual contrast

    s = {
      id = "71E9F64A-2DCC-4A33-A6A4-4167C9DEF412",
      internalName = "Contraste",
      title = "Contraste",
      type = "Develop",
      value = {
      settings = {
      Contrast2012 = 5,
      ProcessVersion = "6.7",
      },
      uuid = "D663637D-06C1-42BF-9D27-F2503B903563",
      },
      version = 0,
    }

    Or manually add a new value of parameters on the other as the show + 1

    s = {
      id = "71E9F64A-2DCC-4A33-A6A4-4167C9DEF412",
      internalName = "Contraste",
      title = "Contraste",
      type = "Develop",
      value = {
      settings = {
      Contrast2012 = 1,
      Exposure2012 = 1,
      ProcessVersion = "6.7",
      },
      uuid = "6B1FB158-6A9B-4805-9015-2209D82AF802",
      },
      version = 0,
    }

    But I have tried many ways to keep the AutoBrightness, automatic exposure and the AutoShadows and keep the value of contrast to 0, but without success.

    I tried to change from false to true, insert Contrast2012 = 0 below the auto settings, in the middle or at the front, but none of these work.

    Can anyone help with this?

    Thank you very much

    Adriano

    I think that since auto exposure, auto, AutoBrightness, LR 5 (maybe earlier), and AutoShadows had no effect.  These are debris left by earlier versions of LR.   The only parameter that has an effect is AutoTone.  I just checked this by trying several different combinations and observing that AutoTone has no effect.   In particular, with AutoTone = false, develop settings do not change, regardless of the values of the other self * parameters.  Similarly, AutoTone = true has the same effect regardless of the values of the other self * parameters.

    It seems that when AutoTone = true, all the parameters Exposure2012, Contrast2012, Highlights2012, Shadows2012, Whites2012 and Blacks2012 will be ignored, overwritten by the settings of AutoTone calculates.  This is why in the new develop Preset window when you select auto tone, the basic group tone gets grayed.

    One solution is to have two presets, one that applies to auto tone and then the one who sets the contrast = 0.

  • New document dialog uses a custom preset instead of [default]

    When I create a new document, InDesign CC 2014 automatically chooses one of my presets custom instead of [Default] (see below). Then, I need to manually select [Default] for a standard letter-size page. Does anyone know why he would do this, or if there is a way to force them to use [Default] first? There is a small problem, but it starts to get boring.

  • How can I remove a custom preset in the Panel

    How can I remove an incorect preset in Premiere Elements?

    I want to delete the definition (which is incorrect) from the Panel effects, not of a clip.

    I found how to create one, but not how to remove.

    After further investigation, I discovered that for some unknown reason, my keyboard has benn custom. I restored the Adobe standard keyboard. Delete key now works correctly in the effect controls panel.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Matched presets-but poor video quality and audio-PE9

    I posted a few threads like this before, but the problem has not been resolved. I've adapted my film 24 p (Panasonic HDC-TM900) of 1920 x 1080 for correct presets when I start a new project. When I play the clips in the timeline panel, the quality is variable and often poor, but when I stop the video the image normally high quality. Audio sometimes cuts off. I have installed MPEG2 codec, so I don't really know what the problem is. Any help would be appreciated

    You shoot on a digital SLR. You pull an AVCHD cam - and there is no support for 1920 x 1080 AVCHD 24 p in Premiere Elements.

    So, Yes, you should shoot 1920 x 1080 50i if you plan to edit in Premiere Elements - AND use the AVCHD project setting.

  • Adobe PE 7 there the good preset for my video camera?

    The video that my camera outputs is 1280 × 720 HD video 30 fps in H.264/MPEG-4 AVC format. Should which preset I use in PE 7 for best results?

    Thank you

    Paul

    I don't know that the version 7 has a preset for 1280 x 720 video. Version 8 only.

    If so, it is under hard drive camcorder presets. Not AVCHD.
