Ah - you're using CS5, and I was talking about CS5.5. We have badges version on this forum!

But yes, you have:

General (CS5) = Settings (CS5.5)

Desktop (CS5) = Custom (CS5.5)

Everything else - at least as much as the creation of a sequence - should be the same. Follow the above, by using these translations and that you will be able to put in place a sequence that you need.

    Open the PP. project

Export your project or the sequence in Final Cut Pro XML form.

Set up a new project PP.

Import Final Cut Pro XML file.

This will take you to the top race.

Since getting back to this publishing project, I found that some things will be lost or change using XML:

You will lose the position key framing, black video clips, dissolve fx, audio levels, dynamic audio fx, the possibility to open a multi camera clip and change the display of the camera.

You keep the cut points, crop fx.

Not perfect but only took a few hours to save 3 working days.

  • Settings pane in the stage custom sequence editor

I'm trying to implement a custom user interface that is similar to the examples given by NEITHER. What I miss, however, is the part of the parameters of the step. I can change the parameters of the step of the example with the Edit menu > settings step dialog box, but I would have a section on the window, similar to what you see in the full version. I thought it would be as easy as inserting a component to insert, but it is not... Did anyone have an example of the implementation of this component?

    Hi paicolman,

At this time the property pane of the step in the sequence editor is built in editor sequence and, therefore, only available in the sequence editor not in the custom operator interface.

The reason why one in the sequence editor looks different is because it is a more compact design, so it could easily fit into the sequence as a component editor and not another pop-up window. The OI is a pop-up window, so it shouldn't be so small and compact.

If you want to change the step properties dialog box, you will need to completely build your own dialog box and change the reminder that connects the kind of command. It would be quite difficult to implement, so using the default dialog box is recommended.

    Hello

I tried to customize the banner doesn't have a sequence. I want that user can see what failure has occurred. That's why I'd build a vi. This vi the information of the Parameters.UUT.CriticalFailureStack (the step name, file name of sequence and text of the report (Locals.Result)) and it displays on the screen (instead of the banner of failure old sequence).

But I have a few problems that this works only if the report generation is active and only for the first time.

I work with the media of 1920 x 1080, but we deliver in several aspects.  FCPX allows me to create sequences with any aspect.  First can do the same?  Without media strectching.  For example we deliver sometimes 960 x 544 is this something I could create in Adobe?

  • When the sequence of process template client file is loaded for execution?

As part of a custom process template I've created, I would like to make a few changes in the sequence of the client before file called by the process template. These changes will be then be restored after the loop finishes USE (I'm changing the sequential model).

Another thread, I discovered that TestStand sequences cannot be edited structurally once they have been loaded for execution. My question is: what is client sequence template process ' for execution "?

After some research, I discovered that the sequence of the client file is not locked to prevent changes to the sequence editor until the "Reminder of the main sequence" sequence step call runs in the model process entry point. At this stage, the sequence of the client file is loaded dynamically as the module at this stage.

However, before this point, there are two places that the file of the client's sequence is used, and I want to assure you that they don't 'load the customer file for execution.  The Runstate.ProcessModelClient property is a reference to the object the client file SequenceFile and exist as soon as the entry point is called. In addition, the engine must know about the sequence of the client file to correctly call reminders of process model. Do any of these things make the movie of 'responsible for performance customer file?

It boils down to this: can I do safely from the structural changes to my file of sequence of the client during the ProcessSetup and ProcessCleanup?

According to the information I found in another post (see the comments of Eric_Crank on page 2), it is allowed. However, in this case customers were only make changes to the property Data of the RunState.ProcessModelClient. I want to assure you that I can use the TestStand API on the reference too.

Also, just FYI, I got this works. I can add steps to the sequence MainSequence customer sequence file of the group stage of installation of the point of entry of the process model via the API TestStand. I ask here if make sure that it is a safe thing to do, and that there is nothing I plan not to.

    Thank you.

    Josh,

If your sequence allows the option "optimize no concave calls this sequence", the first time the sequence run TestStand stores a copy of the execution of the sequence in a cache associated with running. As long as the sequence is in this cache you can not change, and TestStand considers that the sequence for 'run' file (see the SequenceFile.IsExecuting property). You cannot unload 'enforcement' sequence files (see SequenceFile.CanUnload). Sequences remain in the cache until it is closed. There is no way for you to remove the sequences of this cache, but you can prevent them to be added to the cache by turning off the option "optimize... ». Disabling this option should have no impact on the performance that you call the sequence only once.

  • Blurry sequences SD read

Hello world. We hope that you do well. I've not worked with SD images in forever, but I was asked to edit it together and put it on DVD.   The question I have, is that reading is really very blurry. I look at raw on windows media player files, the film is quite crusty (not surprising is SD, but still, not terrible), but in the timeline, it looks really pretty bad.  I also dragged images in the article so I could create a custom sequence to match the raw, but it still looks pretty rough. Also, when I create a title, the title also seems vague. To clarify, when I play the images or titles, it looks blurry, when I stop it, it becomes clearer and clearer. Can I make it work? And finally, I need to export this DVD.  Can someone advise on how to do this look the way it looks in the raw images? Thank you!

  • Need to change the format of the pixels in the Photo for the Premiere Pro CS6 sequence.

    Hello world!

I'm using Premiere Pro CS6. I just created a new custom sequence (1:1 in square pixels, 720 x 480) because I need to import a bunch of video clips in 720 x 480 with square too many pixels. All is well, the videos fit the program monitor window perfectly.

But when I import my pictures (which are as 720 x 480, resized and cropped by me personally to have this EXACT final size) they fill the monitor window of the program (leaving black borders!) and when I right click on their properties, I see that their format of pixels is 0.9091 and NOT 1.0 !

Can you please suggest a way to prepare my photos so that their format of pixels is standard pixel-squares 1.0 ? (I use a program called ACDSee for batch pictures, as there are many of them). I don't want not to change the settings for the sequence to 0.9091, because then my video clips to adapt and to keep borders!

Thanks a lot to the guys in advance!

  • Error display variables tab in operator Runtime Interface

We have developed a runtime operator interface in dotNet based on the source code NOR totally behaved.  We use TestStand 4.2 with the license of the custom sequence editor that allows us to edit the sequences within the runtime operator interface.  I installed this on about 8 PC running Windows XP SP3, and various user such as pallets of type and a custom sequential model components.  I used a program to install automated on each PC then followed the same process.

On all but two of the PC, the TERM operator interface works absolutely fine. On two other PCs, I get the following error when you try to view the variables tab during runtime execution.  'One or more errors occurred.  Please save your work and restart the application. " The error repeats whenever I run the operator interface have tried to uninstall and re-install TestStand machines affected without success. Affected machines seem to run the same software components as those working - but something must be different!

Anyone know what could be the source of this error I know where to start looking?

    Hi Mark,

Have you looked at the base of knowledge here. It seems to be resolved by installing the full version of .NET framework 4 or by manually entering the library of types of TSDotNetUIControls.dll using the .NET Framework 2 RegAsm.exe. I would like to know if it is useful.

  • Deployment requires Cutom editor liicense number.

I have a NI Developer Suite, Q 3, 2009, which has 3 serial numbers: one for the suite, one for the deployment engine and the debugging environment. While trying to install a deployment, I get a complaint about a license for a Custom sequence editor. Seems that now license number would cover. Isn't it?

    Thank you

When you try to activate, you select all 4 options? With my deployments, in the License Manager, I only select the base engine and activate that. I don't know if the TestStand, following Dev option includes these 3 licenses or if you bought them separately, but yes, the custom sequence editor has it's own license.

  • Writing table filled with enums to file

    Hey guys

I learned a lot since the last comments in this forum, so I ask you once more. Correctly, it is still another question trival, but I am also willing to learn.

A little recap: Im using a MANUAL to control a search facility using im. Now, I want to put movies in the queue for special experiences. I did the code that does this and it works fine. Basically, I make a table full of enumerations that describe my State and the queue each enum using a loop for.

For sequences 'hardcoded' approach above is fine, but if I want to make custom sequences how would we all. Using what I learned the last time I did the code attached. It can make tables custom buttons to the predetermined sequences imput. When im done, I want to write a file documentation, but rather than write what is in my enum the sequnece, he writes the number corrosponding. While it is not impossible to decode, if feels rather clumsy. Can anyone solve the problem of writing in the file properly or suggest a different and better approach

    Kind regards

  • How to change the resolution of the cropped video?

So I want to crop a 16:9 video that may be too broad for Instagram for something closer. However, this leaves a black bar on the side of the video instead of changing the resolution and the aspect ratio of the video. Is there a way I can cut the black bars to off the coast of the video and change the aspect ratio of the clip in Premiere Pro?

It seems you are pretty new, so the instructions of Peru Bob may not seem so simple. If you create a large number of videos of Instagram, it may be interesting to create a custom sequence preset to your clips. I'll try and keep things simple!

    1. go to file-> new sequence

    2. we are going to choose a generic predefined here and customize. Simple Digital SLR click-> 1080 p-> DSLR 1080 p 30.

    3. go to the settings tab

    4. change the video frame of 640 x 640 size (I think that it's video resolution settings current instagram, but someone can correct me if Im wrong.

    5. to save you from having to redo these steps, click on save the preset down and name. Next time you make a new sequence, you can simply select this preset from the list.

    6. drag an item into your new sequence.

7 when asked if you want to change the settings of the sequence, DO NOT. Keep the existing settings

    8. your video will look like HIGHLY cropped on all sides. Select it, go to the effect controls panel and open the properties path so you can adjust the scale and the Position if necessary.

    9. When you export, select H.264 format drop-down and keep the default preset. What are the best easier, safer, catch-all advanced options.

    Hope that helps!

  • Project Presets and 2560x1440p

I use first items 10 to edit and export images that are imported and exported with a resolution of 2560x1440p and 60 fps.  I have recorded in these great works and a custom preset export settings.

However, the project settings are locked in 1920x1080p and 30 frames per second because of limited fixed project presets offer when I first create a project.  These project settings affect anything when the images I import not matching, that is, y 2560x1440p?

So, I managed to get a custom sequence preset to 2560x1440p60 saved a friend that uses Premiere Pro.  With a few minor modifications of this XML file that I managed to create a preset that corresponded to Premiere Elements sequence presets.  It is a fairly short file and so I copied the following content in the case where he is of use to others.

Note that I left the 'PreviewVideoFrameSize' in 1920 x 1080 (Premiere Pro left to that as well).  I think that this only affects the preview window and keeps the requirements of memory down.  There seemed to be no advantage by increasing this value, as I have not noticed no noticeable difference in the quality of the preview video when I tested it at 2560 x 1440.

To use this custom preset, copy the bold text below into a text editor, such as Notepad and save the file to the following location. Note that you may need to adjust the location based on your operating system and your version installed (s) of Premiere Elements.  You will also need to create the "Custom" directory if it does not already exist.

Location of the custom preset file: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements 10\Settings\SequencePresets\NTSC\Custom
