Custom using HP Windows 7 Upgrade Kit installation

What is the procedure to make a custom Setup with upgrade kit?  I can insert the upgrade DVD Assistant after a custom installation of Windows 7 and this DVD automatically run and install the HP software and drivers for my PC?  Please do not mention me the links of online teaching or the instruction sheet supplied with the upgrade package.  They don't give full instructions for a custom installation.  I have a Pavilion Elite e9160f purchased in September 2009.  I would like to do a clean install and need to know how to get the HP software and drivers installed.

It would be the only necessary... If you feel that something is missing post update, feel free to post here...

  • Where's my Windows 7 upgrade Kit?

    Hello

I ordered my Kit to upgrade to Windows 7 in February
and still can not get it

I tried to e-mail sent to [email protected]

but no more of this service is not available

Web site: www.toshibawin7upgrade.com does not work.

So I have a few questions:

Where is my Windows 7 upgrade Kit and why they get my money back and is unable to make a delivery to my home in the Ukraine?

I'm sorry to hear you are still waiting for order upgrade kit.
You will not be happy with my comment, but I must say that it is user forum and no one here will be able to offer you help or answer your question.

  • Acer Windows 7 upgrade kit does NOT work!

Hi I have an Acer Aspire 5538 (4 GB of RAM and 220 GB of memory) I'm trying to upgrade to Windows (vista and both are family premium). I read elsewhere on the site that someone had the same problem as me and earasing everything on computer seemed to have worked according to your suggestions (so I did and put everything on my USB). Later, I used the "dics ghost" factory, which deletes the database from the computer to the factory settings. So I'm trying to upgrade and the first CD has worked well "Acer upgrade disc. Now, when I put in the second one it says that my pc is not compatible, and that my pc must be x 86 (32-bit) or x 64 (64-bit). I went into the "system information", and it clearly states "x 86 based PC" until I do?. The second disk named: "Windows 7 upgrade media" does not work!

    The upgrade to Windows XP?

Please read these instructions carefully and completely before you begin installing Windows 7: there are important steps that you must follow to upgrade your PC from Windows XP to Windows 7 in order to preserve your files and settings.

Before you begin, you'll need to backup all your data to an external storage device, and you will need all the installation discs for the programs that you want to keep. Please make sure that you have an external hard drive (see details below).

More detailed instructions are available at windows.microsoft.com/upgrade-windows-xp. Here are the basic steps.

    1. start Windows Upgrade Advisor (windows.microsoft.com/upgradeadvisor) to see if there are known issues that may affect the installation and the question of whether you should install the version of 32 or 64 bit Windows 7.

2 back up your files and settings on an external hard drive using Windows Easy Transfer (windows.microsoft.com/windows-easy-transfer). If you do not have an external hard drive, you will not be able to use Windows Easy Transfer. Alternatively, you can copy the files you want to keep on a USB stick, CD or DVD.

    3. you will need to manually reinstall your programs, such as Microsoft Office, after I installed Windows 7. Gather the installation for your programs and all partner/license product key discs. You may be able to download programs from the Internet. For example, Windows Live Messenger can be installed from the download.live.com/messenger.

    4. Insert the Windows 7 DVD in your PC. When asked "which type of installation you want. Click on "Custom (advanced)."

    5. when Windows 7 is installed, use Windows Easy Transfer to restore your files and settings.

If you are not comfortable Windows 7 installation, check with a local retail or the services of the PC company store to see if they offer upgrade services.

The computer on which I am trying to upgrade is vascular under Vista Premium, but it was never upgraded to Service Pack 1. He has a problem with PIECES that is caused by a defective ntdll.dll module and so the updates do not work. Windows Upgrade Advisor tells me I must update Vista SP1. • Do I need a Vista installation disk to use the Windows 7 upgrade option?

    Hi guys,.
I'm sure this has been asked before, but I can't find the answer anywhere.
I'm currently running Vista 64 bit and you want to upgrade to Windows 7.
I'm looking to upgrade and full version options.
I'm looking to do a clean install.
My question is, if I buy a version upgrade of Windows 7 need me a Vista installation disc to allow it?
My PC came pre loaded with Vista, so I don't have an installation disc.
    Thank you

    Emma

A copy of the full license of Windows 7 would be transferable to a computer without an operating system until it has been completely removed from the first.

I highly recommend that you buy a copy of the full license since you think you might buy a personal computer.

The upgrade copy would not be transferable to a new computer unless the new computer already had a copy of installed Windows on what qualifies for an upgrade to Windows 7.

  • Use the Windows 7 upgrade

I installed win 7 upgrade on a dual xeon from dell. It has since been broken off so I got a dell netbook. Because I can not uninstall from a broken computer, how can I go about installing on the netbook?

To proceed to upgrade the Netbook using the same license and reactivate by phone:

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    -------------------------------

    Note:

You can use anytime upgrade to upgrade the edition currently installed Windows 7 on the Netbook.

If the license for Windows 7 Professional, you have access to is a retail version update or complete, you can use the product key and the Express upgrade to Windows 7 edition that you installed Windows 7 Professional.

First of all, check that the edition of Windows 7, you are upgrading is already enabled (if it isn't, you will encounter complications and that you might start all by performing a clean installation). Click Start, type Anytime Upgrade, click on the option enter a key, enter the key of Windows 7 Professional on demand, click Next, wait while checking the key, accept the license agreement, click on upgrade, wait while the software upgrades, (it may take 10 minutes or more depending on the if updates are required) your computer restarts automatically, after the reboot, Windows 7 will notify you updating the computer, the computer will restart once more automatically and will be completed the upgrade, a window will appear notifying the upgrade was successful and your computer is ready to use, click Close, you should be upgraded to Windows 7 Professional your files, programs and settings retained.

  • Update OEM version Windows 7 to Windows 7 Pro using Windows Anytime upgrade

I have an Asus laptop with Win 7 Home premium OEM version, I downloaded a version of win 7 pro, when you try to use the anytime upgrade, he says - the key entered is for an edition of windows that does not work with anytime upgrades - when I boot from a USB key and select to upgrade it tells me to use the windows anytime upgrade option. I really want to get this working so I can use my Microsoft virtual machine for the school, because it will not work on home premium.

Where did you purchase your license of Windows 7 Professional?

What is a retail upgrade or full version?

If the license for Windows 7 Professional, you have access to is a retail version update or complete, you can use the product key and the Express upgrade to Windows 7 Edition Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional.

Please note that the Express upgrade does not support OEM, MSDN-Academic, Volume (the student faculty licenses) license. If you are in possession of all these brackets, you will need to save and do a custom clean install. If you want to do it, please backup your Windows 7 Home Premium or according to edition currently installed. Some licenses for Windows distributed to tertiary level students are not perpetual, which means that you cannot continue to use the software after a course or graduating.
