Custom with iPF 8400 paper size problem

I created a custom paper size of 11 x 14 inches for my new IPI 8400. My file is 11 x 14 size and print perfectly on my Pro 100, but when I send it to the 8400 it cut a full inch of my image, send me 3 normal small borders and a big. I tried to re-sizing of the image to 10.75 x 13.75 inches, and it still cuts a full inch of the image. Verification of image on the main page does not change, nor is the page. Printing from PS CC, win 10. Am I missing something here - just may not understand what?

    Hi all!

I currently have problems printing to a custom on my Deskjet 4620 size document.  In my country, the legal size is measured in 8.5 "x 13".  Unfortunately my printer does not support custom paper size print.

I tried you are looking for a room and speak to an agent of technical support, but the closer, I went to a solution uses a 6980 driver - who has done print legal paper with the correct margins, BUT screwed up the colors (ie. in Photoshop and MS PPT, it prints images colored B & W ones).

Can someone help me with this? I thank very you much in advance!

Right click on the printer in the Printers folder and select Printing Preferences. Set the size of the page to legal... 8.5x13 is a standard size for legal. It should not need to set a custom size

  • Change paper size problem

Hello. I am writing from Japan.

    My question is about printing.
I mainly use A4 size paper, but sometimes use B5.
B5 is a paper based on Japanese traditional paper format.
The A4 is now major in the Japan, B5 is always used
and I sometimes print with paper B5 and bind to the B5 file.
B5 is smaller than the A4, but size 1: 1.4 ratio the same as A4.

    Now, the problem is:
"Although I change the paper size of the preview window,
the change will be not taken into account immediately
and I have to print at least one page with the old settings to set the change. »

I am so happy if solve you this problem. It'll be more useful.
Or, you can tell me another good solution or how to change the settings?

    Thank you very much.

Use the {Ctrl + P} keyboard command for printing, in order to circumvent the preview before printing.

Bug 1007779 has been filed on the button print, preview printing opening rather then goes directly to the print dialog box.

  • Paper size problems

I have a HP Officejet 7500 all-in-one printer that I use also to receive fax so needs A4 paper to charge at any time, however when I use eprint printer not print jpeg files that people send me because paper photo 8 x 6 is not loaded, how do I get jpeg files to print on A4 media?

Spot TV poster image printing on A4 so why is it not possible?

Hi MissTeach75, the ePrint service is configured to always print .jpg (or other image file formats) in a format 4 x 6 "when the images are sent to the printer as attachments to an email ePrint. However, you can get the files of images printed in sizes A4 (and other paper formats) using the appropriate HP printing app. It is a bit more initial setup required by the person sending the image but it works, I tested it and here's what you need to do.

    1. The person who sends the picture will need to download app home & Biz (Android/Symbian) ePrint and ePrint (iPhone/iPad) on their smartphone or Tablet (http://www8.hp.com/us/en/products/smart-phones-handhelds-calculators/mobileprintingsolutions/index.html?jumpid=ex_r11400_go/mps)
    2. When they first open the app after download, it will be asked to register with the ePrint service. That they must do this or the solution will not work. No matter if they do not have an ePrint printer themselves, they will need to sign up to the service via the newly installed on their device application.
    3. In option settings in the app, they will be able to add a printer manually what they do by typing your printers email address (which they needed anyway if they were going to send the JPG as an attachment).
    4. Once they have added your printer to the list of available printers on their device, they can select the jpg file that they want to print and they will also select options for setting print A4 paper.

The beauty of this solution is that it's true remote printing, the sender does not need to be on the same WiFi network as your printer. However they must be connected to the it internet at the moment where they send the active print (like your ePrint printer) job and they must register at the ePrint via the application service on their device. If any of these conditions are not present it will not work.

I hope this information is useful and that it helps you to start receiving files jpg in A4 format with your ePrint printer.

    Good luck.

  • What new photoquality garlic in those support paper size in the printer driver?

I have a new HP Photosmart AIO 7510.  Much to my surprise the printer driver does not support create 6.5X10 inches, 5.5X8.5 inches for card stock for example custom paper sizes.  I used to have this feature in my old HP Photosmart 5150C all-in-one.  My PC is Windows 7 Edition home premium, SP1 operating system.

Is anyone know 1. What new models - printer or in a single - support a photo quality printing and custom paper sizes?  Am open to return my current template and replace it with a new model of HP.  Or with Canon, Epson. anything that works to regain this ability.

or 2.  is there another driver that is compatible with the 7510 which will create custom paper sizes and quality photo printing.

You can use customized with the 7510 paper sizes, but you must use another driver to do it. Follow the steps in the post below the link for your operating system. With the help of the other driver should get the custom print size to work. Hope that helps.

  • M651dn: with manual duplex printing only the paper size custom

    Hello

I have a strange problem with several HP printers in my office (cp4525dn, 401dne, M651dn).

Automatic duplex printing works as usual if I use plain paper A4 format.

But when I use a custom paper size (21 x 21 cm), then the 'duplex manual' appears on the screen with the information I need to deliver the document again.

It's strange. -That someone has an idea if this could be a bug or it's 'normal '. But automatic duplex should work too much here, I think. What you mean?

It makes no difference if or USB-connected to the local network. I also tried different drivers, without success.

    Thank you very much

    Daniel

According to the manual the User Guide Laserjet Pro 400 M401 , automatic duplex printing is not supported for custom paper sizes.

It goes the same for my printer LaserJet Pro 400 MFP M475dn .

I guess the same applies also to CP4525dn and M651dn models.

    Hello world

I have never posted on a forum before, but I'm about to have a magma down! I try to print my wedding invitation. they are a custom size of 19.7x13.9 cm., I tried to add the custom paper size by following the instructions on the other posts, but this has not worked. paper/output is missing from the advanced settings.

help would be greatly appreciated because I alsways bought of HP printers, but if I have to buy a new one for that I won't buy HP I'm worried sick have the same problem.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi @lilrhi,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I see you are trying to print on paper 19.7 x 13.9 cm with your printer HP Photosmart 5510, on Windows 7. And I'm happy to help you!

According to the specifications of the printer, it is not a supported paper size. The paper sizes supported for this printer are:

    Type of paper

  • HP 9500 win 7 custom paper size tray 1

I have 12 x 18 paper loaded in Tray 1.  The control panel is correctly set.  Our office has a mixture of windows and Mac and have always been able to print on paper 12 x 18, in the #1 tray.  I recently bought a new computer running Win 7 64 bit.  The driver "HP Color LaserJet 9500 PCL 6" of windows does not support custom paper sizes.  I tried to create forms under the print server properties, but custom sizes do not appear when I'm in my applications.  5 PCL and PCL 6 UPD pilots paper 12 x 18 in option, but when I use these drivers of the printer fails to pull the good paper from Tray 1.  With Acrobat, it defaults to 8-1/2 x 11 paper and prints a second sheet indicating:

    PCL XL error

    Subsystem: VECTOR

    WARNING: IllegalMediaSize

With AutoCad, using the UPD and printing on paper 12 x 18, control panels flashes and asks me to load the A3 paper into Tray #1.  Change the size of the margin in my application doesn't seem to help.

I'm an architect and paper 12 x 18 is essential.  Thanks in advance.

After exhausting any permutation of the driver options, I reluctantly installed the PostScript of the UPD driver.  Problem solved!  Printing on paper 12 x 18 in Tray 1 works perfectly.  There is clearly a problem with the UPD PCL5 and PCL6 drivers.

  • minimum height of paper ip8720 in the custom paper sizes

With the help of ip8720, when I set the height to 4.25 in custom paper size the image does not print correctly. If I leave the printer set the margins, I get the message «the limits of paper as defined by the PPD file size are a minimum height of 5 inches...» "If I set the margins mysself (to 0) part of the image is printed in a corner, not there at - there no way to print with a 4.25 inches paper size?  I could do with my old Canon printer. The reason why I need to this size, it's that I'm trying to print a photo on the bottom half of the book which is actually 5.5 wide and 8.5 high. I need only on the bottom so that I can then fold paper to make a card with the image on the widthx height 5.5 before - so 4.25 will not work in this case... the height must be 4,25 and width of 5.5 inches. Thanks for any ideas you may have. (I use an iMac).

    Hello.

The minimum supported size is 3.5 inches wide by 5 inches high.  If the height is specified as something more smaller than 5 inches it will not print to avoid paper jams or feeding problems in case the book is actually less than 5 inches high.

  • HP OfficeJet 8600 and Custom paper sizes

I have a HP OfficeJet 8600 for 2 years now, and I've never had a problem with it until today.

I bought a few cards with inserts that I can print on, however, because it is a custom size, I can't print on it. The printer has no option to set a custom paper size.

So, I do the obvious thing and Google a solution. The firmware update I read... no luck. The update utility can't find my printer on the network even if I print it to 3 different computers, and I can browse his IP in Chrome and check the Web page.

Try a different driver (Win 64-bit 8.1)... the steps that I follow do not work, and when I get them to work, there is nothing different.

I tried to do on my MacBook Pro too, but I can not do anything there either.

Totally ridiculous, which releases a product with this MASSIVE floor!

I am very angry that now I have to put it back write more than 100 of these cards

So I found out how to check the updates of the printer itself, and I have updated firmware, so that rules out.

  • Definition of custom paper size Deskjet 3520

Hello. I need to define my own custom for printing paper size Christmas cards, birthday cards, and the pages of my own book write etc.

    Size = 6 book printing 1/8 inch x 8 7/8 inch = 216 x 156mm

There are to many other 'create your own' card sizes.

Question: How do you define your own size requierments?

    Hey @driverman,

I understand that since the relocation of your Windows operating system 8 you are no longer able to modify your e-all-in-one printer driver HP Deskjet 3520 to allow custom prints. I want to help you with this today. It is strange that the Deskjet 9800 is not in the list of drivers, because it is a pre-installed driver built into your Windows operating system. That being said, I'll make you try another replacement driver.

    1. Open the screen to Start by selecting the Windows icon at the bottom left of your computer screen, or by selecting the Windows key bottom left of your keyboard to the left of the 'Ctrl' key
    2. In the start screen, type "devices and printers".
    3. If the option devices and printers fill automatically, click settings at the top right and click then on devices and printers.
    4. In the devices and printers folder right click on your Deskjet 3520 and left click on printer properties
    5. Left click on the Advanced tab
    6. Left-click on new driver
    7. When the new driver window just press 'Next' until you see a list of manufacturers on the left and a list of Printers on the right.
    8. Select HP as the manufacturer on the left
    9. DeskJet 6980 select the printer on the right. If Deskjet 6980 does not appear select "Windows Update" on the lower left. Once the update is completed, you will be able to select Deskjet 6980.
    10. After selecting Deskjet 6980 hit Next to complete the wizard driver new
    11. Under the printer properties window, select "Apply", but don't hit not OK
    12. Select the general tab
    13. Rename your HP Deskjet 3520 printer
    14. Click OK
    15. Finally, right click on your Deskjet 3520 one more time and click on Printing Preferences
    16. Left click on the paper/quality tab
    17. Left click on the drop down menu of 'Normal' for the quality of printing on the bottom right and change its normal fast
    18. Press apply and OK

Now that the other driver has been loaded successfully please test print in order to confirm if the problem is resolved.

Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. You can also click thethumbs up' ' icon below to say "thanks for the help!" I look forward to hear from you!

On 8 x 4 in, you earn a 4 inches in width or length?

Be aware that a length of 4-inch is not supported by the hardware (5.0 to 14.0 inches) and so not to appear, if this is the problem in fact just change between the height and width settings for the shape and orientation of the paper...
