Customer Web missing the Home button (roles, licenses, etc.).

We run Web Client Version 5.0.0 Build 6216225 and seem to be missing the Home button that displays the administrative options vCenter as roles, licenses, etc. Based on the screenshots on the web I see there should be a button in the upper left corner of the screen, but this Forum seems to be missing this important component (or perhaps I looking in the wrong place?). I don't remember if this option was still present, but I have recently installed a (replaceing the default self-signed certificate) valid SSL certificate for Web customer service... and wonder if it is related to my problem.

Any help would be apprciated, included is a screenshot of the Web Client by default start page without the Home button.

For me, the second screenshot looks like vCenter 5.1, while you use vCenter 5.0 that does indeed have no Home button.

You can change your shortcut on the desktop Firefox with two starting URLS. To try:

    • Shortcut on the desktop: right-click on the icon, choose Properties
    • Icon taskbar pinned: clic click right on the icon, right click in Mozilla Firefox, click on properties

Windows normally selects the shortcut tab. If this is not the case, go ahead and click on the shortcut tab.

You will see the target highlighted. On 64-bit Windows, which is usually either not less the following:

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"

For the specific shortcut launch pages, you can add them to the end, for example:

After OK'ing the Properties dialog box, you can test everything right now to confirm that Firefox is now launching a window with tabs. Either:

Her that I have my firefox put in place over the years is to place the buttons like this:

Now in FF29 I'm trying to move the home button between BackForward buttons and the address bar and it won't let me.

Is there a way to do it, am I missing something? Thank you

"I thought that FF29 was supposed to be the most customizable Firefox yet?

Who told you that was incorrect, as far as I'm concerned. Firefox is more customizable than the 'competition', but not as much as the previous versions were.

The home button can be moved, but the back / button drop-down list is set to the address bar - they cannot be separated.

The combo Stop / Reload button is locked in the address bar.

The 'old' activity indicator has disappeared. Deemed unnecessary with the animation of loading on the left corner of each tab, where the favorite icon once the page is completely loaded.

But I don't think it will turn out to be along term solution. As users begin to install other extensions, I think they're going to face compatibility issues where the new extension "expects" the user to use what Firefox is come with - not the 'retro' functions

  • iPad 4 press the home button to unlock?

My iPad 4 does not have the ability to read fingerprints and iOS 10 is forced to rely on the home button to unlock. Is there a setting to restore slide it to unlock?

    Hi, Mike Sombrio.

I understand your need to be able to unlock your iPad, I use mine every day. I'd love to help you solve this problem.

According to my understanding, you are unable to unlock your iPad using push to unlock. Based on what described you, I don't feel as if there is no other no option than to restore. Your iPad didn't need to touch ID to be able to push to unlock. Just hit the homebutton and if you have a password, it will prompt to enter your password. If you do not, it will let you enter your device. I hope this has helped!

  • Problems with iPhone 7 Plus the 'home' button?

Today, I stopped at a store and looked at the time of 7 more for the first iPhone. I was curious about the new home of the haptic button.

I didn't feel a thing well. I thought there might be a setting and so I asked a salesperson. He said he "thought" he could feel a bit and had me try things like closing an application and return to the home screen. But no matter how gently or strongly I pressed the home button, nothing happened. Once opened Siri, but then I couldn't close it.

He couldn't have worked either do.

So, while I admit that my "sampling" is small, with 100% of all so far the 7s iPhone I tried the home button does no haptic feedback and does not work well.

As it was a display model, of course, I'm curious - are these kinds of common problems?

I just posted my concern in this regard. I have the 7 +.

and the home of the Taptic button does not work. I have to still physically, press on the

button as I did with the 6 +. So what is the difference?

  • iPhone 7 plus the 'home' button

I find the new touch sensitive Home button on the iPhone 7 more more problematic that older models the home button - it does not react as well 3 clicks to make appear the magnifying glass seems not to work - also when I press the home button to return to the home screen it often make it appear Siri instead - also I thought you should get the haptic feedback when you press the button New House, but I don't get it - I check the setting/general/Home button and checked for interactions of the system, but it is perhaps not

Has anyone noticed things like it's - Im wondering if it's a material thing or something that could be fixed with a software update

I have the same problem with my home button. Haptic feedback does not work. When I was asked to select the level of intensity throughout the entire upward, I felt nothing then either. I checked all the settings and everything is where it should be. I'll take it to the Apple store. Good luck...

  • iOS 10 - now I touch Touch ID, * and * press the Home button to open iPhone?

I have an iPhone 6, and today I have updated to iOS 9.3.5, to 10.0.1.  One thing I noticed that really bothers me, it's unlocking the device.  With iOS 9, I had to touch the Touch ID to unlock.  Now I touch the ID to touch and sometimes it unlocks, and sometimes, I see 'Unlocked' at the top of the screen and "Press home to open" at the bottom.  I have to press the Home button to open the phone.

It seems to me that having to push the home button more often will put more wear and tear, causing to fail more sooner than it otherwise.  Who thought it was a good idea?  It is perhaps a subtle boost to force me to update the iPhone 7, with his home in the solid state button?

I think it's something that needs to be modified in iOS 10.0.2.  Make sure that touching just the Touch ID opens the phone each time, as iOS 9 has done.

Happened to me too.  To repair. go to General settings accessibility HomeButton scroll Restfinger unlock... .and turn on.

  • Double click on the home button brings a list of open applications

I've recently updated to iOS 10 and now when I double click the home button, nothing happens. I can't access the applications that are running.

Try a forced reboot and see if that fixes it.

To force the reboot your device, press and hold the two buttons of sleep/wake and home for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

  • Increase in Wake - should not have to press the Home button to unlock

    Hi all

I appreciate the work that the Apple development team did to iOS 10. Most of it's amazing as usual! BUT...

The revival of the Wake feature needs an additional configuration option. In fact, some of us LIKE how quickly iOS 9 unlocks the phone and have the habit of hitting the power button to turn the screen to access the shortcut of the camera or using a finger not configured to press the Home button.

That said, if I 'raises to Wake"my iPhone, having to press the Home button to complete the unlocking process is not intuitive. It must simply unlock and go to my home screen.

As this MUST have been done intentionally, I think that you should give us the option attached to "Raise to Wake" function to enable or disable the duty press the Home button to unlock.

  • Double click on the Home button does not show open applications?

Why not double click on the Home button shows my open apps? I have an iphone 6Plus, and I want to close some applications that do not work properly.

Try a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons at the same time for about 15 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. You won't lose anything. And then try to click double fast to access the app selector window. Note that these applications are not open. May be best to remove the apps and reinstall, but try the above first.

I have recenly updated upgraded to iOS 9.3.3 and I noticed that pressing the home button does not take me to the home screen. The only way to get there is by using the creature of multitasking. (double pressing the home button) Also, some applications seem to freeze if turn my phone off and then turn it back on, or when I access it via the multitasking function. Can someone please help?

If a force restart does not help, try a system restore. First save your device via iTunes. Also import your photos on your computer and copy all the important data. Reconstruction of the support first test and test. If this does not help, you may need to restore as a new and reconfigure from scratch as the backup may be damaged. It is important to have your photos and your saved data separately from the backup. Here are the steps for a restoration:
