CustomSqlDataSource cascading.

I'm trying to implement the example of quotes application CustomSqlDataSource. I tried to copy the customsqldatasource.cpp and customsqldatasource.h in the folder src but the customsqldatasource.cpp is to launch a large number of errors

 mSqlConnector = new SqlConnection(mSourceInDataFolder, "connect");

all of them are related to bb::data

undefined reference to `bb::data::SqlConnection::SqlConnection(QString const&, QString const&, QObject*)'
undefined reference to `bb::data::operator<<(QDebug, bb::data::DataAccessReply const&)'

Did you add lbbdata to your .pro file?...

Just add in the .pro file

LIBS +=-lbbdata

  • Bridge or Access Point mode? What is the difference? Cascade?

    Hello

Just to give you a quick training of my installation at this time. I have a 4500 square foot home and currently Uverse Internet (NVG589, 45 Mbps down, 5 Mbps upward). I bought myself a R7000 hopes to expand to the entire network. I also have a Netgear EX6100 that I use for the network...

So currently I have the R7000 connected in AP mode and all my devices connect to it and I turned off WiFi on the NVG589. I have also the connected EX6100 and its WiFi piggybacking off the R7000. The issue I'm having is that I'm the slow service connection via the R7000 (20 mbs, vs 45mbps. I was getting around 40 MB/s connection to NVG589). This happens when connecting both the R7000 and the EX6100.

I was looking at the possibility of plugging the R7000 in Bridge mode and see if that would help. But, from my understanding, if you are using the bridge, then the R7000 does not send over WiFi (or extend the wireless network, the only advantage is that you can extend things through (wired) LAN) is that correct? I need something to extend WiFi as well as throughout the House. I can also use the EX6100 but I do not think that this is enough for any home.

Any suggestions? I also looked in the forums and saw some people talking cascaded from the router, do not know what makes and even if it would help me but if someone you ask around, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

Apparently, you can configure the Ex6100 as an AP. This link shows how. I have never used this device, so only can go by this doc. Scroll down to about 15 points, in the doc. Good luck!

  • Cascading Menus strangeness

I met some strangeness with cascading menus which is neither intuitive nor documented.  I use cascading menus to help the user to complete and modify a table containing a limited set of choices.  The intention is that many of the level 1 menu choices will show a list for the user to choose from.  Pop-up lists are intended to be very similar and potentially could be the same, but to do with the choice of level 2 must be different.  The choice of level 1 are: Add, insert, edit, delete, move Up and move down with the first three cascading to the secondary lists. The problem I encountered is that when level 2 lists are identical, or almost, the ItemPath is not indicative of the user's selection.  It seems that the ItemPath uses by default the first item in menu level 1 and level 2 user selection.  If the ScreenTip says are different dractically, behaves in the ItemPath are expected.  Someone has had experience in this area - confirming or contradictory?  This part of a ploy to help improve my coding style :-)? I use XP with LV2009.  Thanks in advance

-LV rtm Analyzer assumes that all tags are unique.  What you see is the result of a linear search in a list with the recurring elements: Menu selection (user) takes the ItemTag and search in the list of the RTM for the first instance of this tag from top to bottom.  Insert one of your objects of level 2 on the top tier before everything and see what happens.

-This function Help file says 'the function always sure that labels of all inserted menu items are.
unique to the hierarchy of the menus by adding numbers to the supplied tags, if
necessary. "It seems that it does occur if you create the menu dynamically, as you do.  I think that's what John Mc to come; its code would remove the numbers in the annex for the tags would be the same (to your parser). Maybe he uses 2010 and it works in this version?

-If you were to do a right-click on the control, go to advanced-> run-time - menu-> edit..., you get a dialog box that allows you to create a custom RTM.  If I try to recreate your RTM in this dialog box, when I go to save it updates the tags duplicate with the numbers in the annex.

-Your best solution is to make sure your objects have names AND labels, where the names can be repeated and labels must be unique.

  • Graphic and indicators of cascade late in development Application

    Hello

I have an application that pulls in three sets of data from the accelerometer. These data are already analyzed my cRIO for RMS and Peak data, as well as the cascade for information about frequency plots. Once data happens to my application that runs on the host computer, he writes data directly to the indicators (other than a length of story of little waterfall self-made).

I have attached an excerpt of the code where the indicators are updated. This happens in parallel with all other processes and only happens to about 10 Hz. Loop in there is always a single iteration of the way in which the data flow is implemented currently, but it's still there to handle the possible case of accelerated for the acquisition of data. The structures of case I put around the indicators are there to test the lag that I'm observing. If I disable one, the other or both, the offset decreases. The LAG disappeared when I disable both case structures. This shift shows in the form of jumps/gal observable in other indicators on the screen that are also updated to 10 Hz.

So my question is, is it possible to sperate these indicators of everything else as their own thread? or maybe a smarter way to update indicators? 10 Hz is quite slow, so I was surprised when turning off the charts just accelerated.

    Thanks for the help,

Just a guess (but good) you did a comparative analysis on the sub - vi?  Assuming that debugging is disabled 3 UI not can if run with waterfalls enable = False because the outputs go to a unreachable code.

    No cards overlap total limits?

Can you save this snipette and sub - vi to 2013? (preferably with a constant matrix of buffered typical analyzed data)

  • Cascade 4130 power smu

    Hey,.

I try cascading two pxi 4130 (EMS of power) by the need to at least 28 volts forsomething else. After these two pxis wiring, I found a problem: using labview, as indicated in the image below, after having generated 14 V for the first and 14V to the second, I'm obtainning 21V on my external mutimeter (instead of 28) AND indicator, is also 28 BUT using the NI DCPower Soft front panel, I got 28V so could you help me find where this loss comes from? Why have I not 21 instead of 28 on my multimeter?

    Thank you

You know.  A snippet of code would help really a lot more than the attached pngs.  Just edit select all (Ctrl + A) and Edtit > Create extract selection

You always set after setting the level of the beach, but this isn't your problem.

You see 22V on your meter because SMU outputs are not in series (not Wired) if they have BEEN in the series the currents would be identical. Of Kirchoff laws cannot be violated.

  • If the butterworth filter available in LabVIEW FPGA is cascade, can I get a higher order filter?

I need a 10th order filter lowpass butterworth with cut-off frequency 5 kHz. Can I build by 4th cascading of 2 order butterworth filters and 1 2nd order available in LabVIEW FPGA each filter in butterworth with cut-off frequency 5 kHz?

This will increase the amount that your data will be filtered but will not increase the order in the Manor that you think. If you cascade two 2 4th order filters and compare that results to a filter of order 8, the resulting field filter cascading bode would look more like a 6,5e order filter.

  • Cascade of two functions of table build - what happens?

I found the code indicated in the attachment in a very complex VI that I'm rehabilitated.  Could someone explain what is happening with the functions of table build "cascade".

I see that the first function to build array built a table 1 d of integers that passes to the second function to build table that shows a table 2D of integers, but since there is no element or second input array, I don't see how it works.

This is part of a Subvi, which is not incorporated into a loop.

All the examples have at least two entries.  There is no option to concatenate entries with a single entry. There is an implicit operation here that I don't understand.

If someone explain how it works?

You're taking a scalar value and creating a table 1 d with exactly 1 element.

So you're taking 1 d table and build in a 2D, with exactly 1 Item table.

Since you can't concatenate something with nothing, only logical mode for the table build would be to build in a table of the next larger size.

You could add a third, then you'd have a table 3D with exactly 1 element.  And so on.

  • cascade filter does not seem to reset

I use a waterfall with coefficients of butterworth filter in the attached vi. There is some input values, I can give the filter such that it causes the output must be an array of NaN. That's fine, except that when I give the filter the exact entry which has already led to a good result, it always displays NaN. If I change the input Boolean init/cont to false, run it once, then change it to true, the filter works very well. The data somehow remains in the filter? Or is there something I can do to prevent this? Thank you.

    John

    Hi John,.

It turns out that I also have to read the better LabVIEW help.  If you look at (http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361F-01/lvanls/iir_cascade_filter/), this constant works in front what we want.  Essentially, it initializes the VI when the false value and uses the previous when data set to true.  What you can do in your VI to ensure that each run begins with data is to use the first call? function and reverse. When the first call? is called at the start of execution, it returns True.  Fake is out for all other iterations.  If we reverse this, you get False (Initialize in this case) on the first iteration of the filter Cascade and True for all other calls of the VI.

  • How meters in cascade on NI9401 cDAQ-9174

I have a NOR-9401, installed in a cDAQ-9174 I use to count impulses of entry. I wish I could cascade to counters for having set up a 64-bit counter, but I'm having trouble finding ways to achieve this.

After searching through manuals and help files, I was able to create the following (VI attached):

For cascading counters, I suppose I must route Ctr0InternalOutput at the entrance to the second counter, but I can't find how.

Any suggestions? Maybe, I'm just looking in the wrong place. I use the manual of 9174 and DAQmx help file. None of the examples I looked at dealing with cascading counters, and while the subject is mentioned in the manual, the only other speak matched counters have to do with measures of frequency/period.

I finally understood that - right click on the constant/control that I create that is connected to the CI. CountEdged.Term property, selecting IO name filtering and checking the button include the Advanced terminals then allow me to choose/cDAQ1/Ctr0InternalOutput as the input of ctr1.

  • Simulation of control loops in cascade

I built a simulation of a control system of the engine using LabVIEW Simulation 8.2.  The controller has the traditional loop of current-speed-position cascading where each loop runs at a different speed.

The online help for the Simulation said the subsystems of simulation to inherit the timing of the main diagram.  How to set the speed of the internal unlike loops that loop main external?

In fact, I solved the problem by using a block zero order hold at the beginning of the diagram subsystem and time of sampling in the required period setting.

  • Windows Task Manager - I clicked on cascade tab windows yesterday.

In the center of support and help that he is told to do a right click on a place empty in the taskbar and choose uncascade. It only gives me the possibility of uncascading. It gives me the possibility in cascade.  I don't know what program or the window that I had opened and selected when I mounted cascade yesterday. If you know how to find this possibility, then maybe it would give me the possibility of uncascade if I launched the same window and selected. Problem is that if its cascading show no open windows on the Task Manager. I want to just uncascade because I use a lot the Task Manager to manage or stop or update programs and I can't do if I don't see the program open the Task Manager window.

    Hi Marne,

First of all, make sure that you logged in with an administrator account. Then change your password to a password strong. Follow the instructions on creating a password on the link below.

It is better to have a single Antivirus running real-time protection. You can use other analytical tools, but not the multiples at the same time.

If you use wireless for your home computer, I reset it and change the default SSID immediately when the security on your network wireless configuration. Most of the ships with a SSID default and you should modify to prevent hackers to access your network.

Make sure you have a firewall is enabled on your router and your computer.
