It drives me crazy! just updated to latest photoshop and every time I cut a little copy of a text box and places it in one other text box, it reduces the size of the text why it did this never happened before the upgrade, it would always stick to the same size leader etc. is there a preference I need to DESACT?

A simple copy / paste a civic address of a discount PDF

When I go to paste the address in Notepad, the street address is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!

I just click on the text there is NO hyperlink. The address is valid, just another branch.
How is that possible?

PDF files can contain a lot of hidden information. You can't always trust what you see is all that is there...

About this specific file, my guess is that someone wanted to replace the address so they just put the new text with a white background on the old text and thought which is pretty good. Big mistake. Unless you are using the redaction tool information is still there and is copied when selected, as you can see it coming.

When I open the file in Acrobat I can clearly see and select the items of old text under the visible text. You must report this problem to the creators of the file and request a better version of it.

I need to regularly send a text to a particular recipient with only the day and date which is different every time.

I noticed after updating to V24.1.1 that were to happen, the text would have gone, just like the e-mail was sent.
After checking my 'sent' folder, I found that the e-mail was a blank page. Conformation of the recipient showed that they had received an empty email.

Another thing (boring) which is now occur when you type, the cursor will often jump to the upper-left corner of the page and continue to reproduce typed words.

This does not occur in any other application requiring the seizure, that is to say MS Word 2013, Wordpad, or Notepad.

Any ideas as to why.

You can perform the OCR using Acrobat desktop approx. You can copy - paste PDFs on the iPad but not to cut-and - paste text.

formatting lost when cut and paste

I've been cutting and pasting text from one part of a file to another. The text to move consisted of several paragraphs. When I pasted the text in the location in the file, the formatting of the paragraph is replaced by the paragraph format of the paragraph where it was stuck. In other words, it is sticky as if I use
Edit > Paste Special > text

You can have a degree of capability.policy.allowclipboard.sites pref, so in your case, the second line with http://www.mozilla.org will replace the first with the office.iris.ac server.

If you need more than one URL, separate by spaces, but in your case, you don't need the mozilla site that is indicated as an example.

The instructor used the App Switcher on Mac to switch to a text editor and copy this text editor text. InDesign is not the active application.

Cut and paste the text of the anchored text box?

I've recently been investigating scripts in InDesign and I have a problem to solve that exceeds my, base, understand.
I used Rorohiko "Lightning Brain text exporter" to extract text (rtf) of a book.
The text contains countless anchor text blocks. I would like to be able to select all the text in the block of text anchored, cut and paste it into the document where the anchor element is referenced, and then remove the anchor text (now empty) block.

Cut and paste tabs and "returns"?

In an earlier version of pages, I could copy and paste tabs, as well as breaks line or "go back". I use this feature a lot then the processor who ends up going inside a spreadsheet and visca versca.

In the most recent version of Pages, I think that cutting and pasting of the tabs is available in all simply copy the tab character and paste it into the Find/Replace dialog box. (And a shortcut of 'Option-tab' inserts a "tab" character in the Find/Replace dialog box.)

But cut and paste newlines or line returns no longer seem to work (or fact is old keyboard shortcut 'Option-return'. This feature has gone completely outside, or modified or?

Anyone know?

Just tested the latest version of the Pages.

Option-tab peut be used in the dialog box search to search for a TAB

I can select a tab in the text and paste it into the search box and it is as expected

Shift + return produced a line break, and this also can be copied and pasted into the Find dialog box

I can't locate 'Find & Replace"of carriage return anyway, page break, column etc. break section break that had Pages 09... most have disappeared when Apple introduced 5 Pages.

I want to be able to have a simple shot that will allow me to paste a particular image in a conversation in Messages... It is the same image that I want every time. I had to have my computer "cleaned up" because it was runnung so slowly. Since then, I can no longer copy and paste text using the mouse to highlight the text. The technician changed the configuration on startup items. Could be the cause? Yes, maybe it's a job for a technician. At the same time, hold down SHIFT key and use the <- or="" -="">arrows to highlight the text and then hold CTRL and press C to copy the text and then hold CTRL and press V to paste the text.
