CUVC 5100 UPGRADE

Hello

We have a Cisco Unified Videoconferencing 5100 Series products

version: 7.1.2.7.2

We want to upgrade to version 7_2_0_5_22.

I found the below:

Unified Video Conferencing Manager 7.2 software - contains CUVM, hotfix CUVD and connector
CUVCM_7_2_0_5_22.zip

What is the correct software for this upgrade?

Do you have any dogumentation for this upgrade?

Can you tell me the right image for this upgrade?

Hello

The software you have found is for CUVC Manager while I think you want one for the MCU CUVC.

That's why you need the ( Cisco Unified video Multipoint Control Unit 7.2 conferencing software )

MCU_7_2_0_0_1.zip) that are on the same page as the software you mention above.

Press for this release notes can be found at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/video/cuvc/7_2/release_notes/cuvc7_2rn.html

Best regards.

    Hello

It would never work if you dial directly from a CTS in CUVC. You will need to hire CTMS always, even if you have a single unit CTS during the call.

Details on this interoperability works and how to integrade CUVC in the TP more vast infrastructure can be found here:

  • Upgrade memory 5100-201?

    Hello!

    I have a Toshiba Satellite 5100 201 with 256 + 128 MB Ram PC2100.
Now, I want to remove the 128 MB of Ram and replace it with a 512 MB.
But Toshiba support told me that 2 x 256 MB is the maximum for this model.
So it is really impossible to use 512 MB modules, or is it only "official not recommended?

I hope you can help me, the new memory is already paid and on its way to me... :-(

    Greetings,

    JJ

    Hello

Well, as far as I know these modules, you can use:

    PC2100 128 MB (PA3126U - 1 M 12)
    PC2100 256 MB (PA3127U - 1 M 25)

And how you said the unit supports max 512MB (2x256MB). This is information that I found. If you want you can try the 512 module. But I put t think that you the unit supports this.

  • Upgrade to Windows 10

    Hello

I am trying to upgrade Windows 7 service Pack1 (64 bit) to Windows 10 running in Bootcamp on my Mac Mini 5 (end of 2014), with OSX 10.10.5.

I've updated OSX to where I have a message that no update is available on the App Store, I also ran Apple Software Updater under Windows 7, until there is no update available.

When I run the upgrade Windows 10 program, I get a message that make the update because "Intel (r) Iris (TM) graphical 5100, this device is not supported.

I have downloaded and run Boot Camp Software Support 5.1.5769 on the Site of Apple with Windows 7 Support, and now Apple Software Update installs 2.2.150, version checks and wants again to install 2.2.150. I downloaded the update by using the 'tools' and run it locally, but who is not helped.

I also ran the Brigadier using the .exe file, it runs and downloads data in a folder it creates, said he downloaded his stuff, but the folder is empty.

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

When the update online of w7 w10 does not work, get a win 10 iso and install / upgrade it.

    https://www.Microsoft.com/de-de/software-download/windows10ISO

But be careful with bootcamp win 7 additional driver under win 10. Maybe they disturb earn 10 disk IO, so you can not check the integrity of the ntfs file system cannot add, restore, delete system restore points.

When a problem occurs, do a clean reinstall without bootcamp supplement at all.

When you have a supplement of bootcamp win 10, install it AFTER upgrade to 10.

  • XW 6400 processor upgrade

    Hello world

I'm looking to upgrade the processor in my HP XW6400 workstation. I currently have 2 dual-core Intel Xeon 5130. Should I upgrade to the processor dual-core 5160 (3 GHz) or the quad core 5320 (1.86 ghz)?

I think (if I understand correctly starting from a previous thread) that my motherboard supports up to the intel xeon 5320 and not the 5345 because it has a SP:436925 - 001 motherboard.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Thank you very much

    Aaron

    Aaron,

It took some time to gather my data bits.  Here's the info: with Windows 7 Microsoft came out with a standardized performance measurement method can be run and see how your configuration batteries against others.  It comes to memory, CPU, graphics card and game performance and hard disk performance.  The test is called experience Windows Experience Index or user Windows and top scores on to 9.0.  You can get to right click on my computer in W7 and drag it down to the properties.  I have attached the results for the xw6600 I'm working on right now that has an older Intel SSD for its primary drive.  If you have two video cards the results reflect only one slot PCIe x 16 superior.

It turns out that your hard drive partition can never exceed 5.9 without an SSD.  But what you really want right now is the scores of processor and memory, as the best indicator of the user experience practice.  For cards mothers xw6400 scores memory and processor are always to be balanced and identical, in all my tests.  Not so much for other HP motherboards, but the 6400, 6600, 8400 and 8600, this is the case.  I have, as you can guess, I was able to run the same test on several different HP workstations.  You will be able to extrapolate from the numbers below and will be amazed how the xw6400 is with these faster quad cores, I recommend.  Here are the data, weaker performance on site a group that I have personally tested.  The 5100 series processors are all two hearts; 5300 series is quad-cores.  The other odd are quadri-hearts of different families of Xeon in different workstations, as well as the a 6-core in a Z600 (which has a place for a second processor, unused, in this particular facility).  All the xw6400/6600/8400 and 8600 scores are made using the same label HP Server/Workstation memory, interchangeable, which is HP origin for each of these workstations:

1 x E5140 = 5.8 processor and memory 5.8 scores, and I'm going to shorten things down to the only identical score from here on the results of CPU/memory in WUE.  It actually also got a 5.7 several times during the tests, so it's a 5.8 'low'... almost a 5.7.

    1 x E5160 = 6.4

    1 x = 7.1 E5345

    1 x E5430 = 7.2 (in a xw6600)

    2 x E5150 = a 7.2 'low '.

    2 x E5160 = a 'high' 7.2 that turned out as a 7.3 a couple of times

    1 x = 7.3 (in a xw6600) E5450

    1 x X 5355 = 7.3 (in a xw8400)

    1 x E5645 = 7.4 (in a Z600)... it is a single processor with 6 cores

2 x 7.5 = E5345 (it's my favorite build if the xw6400 can run this image.)  15% cannot, in my experience.  I don't use any any Quad cores as this one.  I go to 2 x E5160 if I can't launch an E5345 quad core, and if I can run 1 of those so I was always able to run two.  SLAEJ sSpec code is the one to buy.  If you buy a processor used off eBay at least take the time to find the sSpec codes and get the last one for this processor).

    2 x X 5355 = 7.6 (in a xw8400)

    2 x = 7.7 E5450 (in a xw6600, that I'm working at this time)

    2 x E5440 = 7.7 (in a xw8600)

None of the non-xw6400 processors listed above will run in a xw6400 with modern BIOS, said by the way.

So, there is the data, and you can see that 2 x E5130 would be a dog compared to the use of 2 x E5160.  I understand that we get here cheaper access to of the E5345, and my buddies just come with their box of 6400 and me have plug in one of my E5345 checked to see if they should buy two of them, or two of the E5160.

I have zero input for you on the slightest quad of the carrots in the list for the xw6400 HP... life is quite complicated, and I opted for this formula a / or for the 5160/5345.

    I hope this helps!

  • Toshiba Satellite 5100 603

Instruction for Satellite 5100 503 says max. capacity of RAM this laptop can work is 512 MB. It is strange to me. Why I can't upgrade memory in my book, it's efficency, but 512 MB is too little for me. I use Windows XP Prof. with many programs, that's why I need of more memory. Additional distributor of Toshiba laptops in my country clamis that this model can work with 1 GB of RAM. I don't know really who right. Help me, please.

    Hi emifer,

This Machine can run up to 1024 MB of Ram (RAM-PC2100DDR)!
For Toshiba 512 MB Ram order Code is PA3164U.

  • USB2 on 5100-503

I'm sure the 503 5100 no usb2, but I can't always know. (other that a stick installed tells me so).
Is it possible to upgrade to usb2?

p.s New laptop out of the question-wife doesn't let me.

    Andy

    Hi Andy

The Satellite 5100 definitely has USB 1.1 ports. Update is not possible, but the best solution is to use a USB 2.0 PCMCIA card. As far as I know there are cards with two or four USB ports. The installation is very simple, and these cards are not expensive. Please take some information on the net or check it into some electronic store in your city.

  • Replace the drive of my laptop in a Toshiba Satellite 5100/5105 - experience?

I intend to replace the defective CDRW/DVD drive in my Toshiba Satellite 5100 503 (European version, it was sold as 5105 in the United States and other countries).
    The disk is a UJDA730.
Update, I consider the much appreciated a Slimline DVD +/-RW drive. Unfortunately, some internet research revealed that the upgrade to optical laptop drive is not as simple as one would hope. I had no trouble to remove my old drive (just remove the keyboard and unscrew the two screws), so I consider myself to be able to put in a new drive instead. However, two problems remain:

-mechanical compatibility: the 6500 has seems to have a different layout of collar. The eject button and the LED are in a different position from that of my current drive, so I doubt I'll be able to use my old glasses with it. In addition, the bezel from my old drive has a niche in the lower right corner (similar to that found on some laptop computers Fujitsu-Siemens), which gives place to the volume control on the laptop. So I can't reuse the old bezel and bezel of the NEC will probably not allow me to close the CD tray. I wonder if some Dremel work on the plastic parts of the NEC drive will allow me to physically. Anyone who has tried?

-electronic compatibility: computer laptop drives don't usually have jumpers to change their configuration of master/slave/cable selection. Instead it is located in the firmware, change so it is flashing a new firmware, which is not easy to find and hard to do if your drive is still not recognized. SO I need to know if my notebooks is the optical drive set to master, slave. CSEL or 'inverse cable select. " Can someone help me here, either by own experience pointing me to a relevant source on the web?

    Hello

as a first step in a Satellite 5100 CD player is fixed mounted and can only be replaced with the same model! Another model might work, but as you can see the bezel fits and maybe the new drive does not match 100%. So you will have problems all the way!

What do you think about an external solution via USB or Firewire. It's the best way to upgrade!

    To bye chris

  • WIFI Link 5100 drivers 12.1.2.1 does not maintain steady speed

I have connected the DIR-855 (Dlink) to, Wifi Intel 5100 of the Qosmio and with the original drivers I can maintain a connection constantly 150Mbps (5 GHz 40 Mhz N only). After upgrading to the 12.1.2.1 I can only keep it for an hour or two before its begins to decrease and jumps from 6 Mbps to 60Mbps. The last pilot intel gives better flow and a better signal quality, but as I didn't mention that for a short period. Anyone who has tried these drivers with the same experience?

    Hello

    > The latest driver of intel gives better flow and a better signal quality, but as I didn't mention that for a short period. Anyone who has tried these drivers with the same experience?

I didn't try the driver Intel WLan Intel page because the WLan driver in Toshiba page works correctly.
In your case, it seems that the driver WLan from Toshiba page works better than the driver from the Intel page.
That is why I see no reason why you should use the driver directly from the Intel Web site.
Take the Toshiba WLan page and check if this problem persists.

    PS: this question could be also related to the settings of the WLan card that you can find in;
Device Manager-> WLan card properties-> Advanced tab

    The question is...

I want to upgrade my portable computer system memory 3 GB DDR2 (800 MHz) RAM to 4 GB of RAM DDR3 (1066 MHz), which is compatible or not?

    Respect,
    enteoana

    Hello

In my opinion, you should follow specification not Intel and Toshiba. S Toshiba of info is based on own tests and facts.
So, depending on the specifications of Toshiba for the GM45 Chipset it is clearly written:

    Min(on Board) wheel capacity - DDR2 800 MHz 0 MB / 8 GB max
    Type of extension of memory - DDR2 800 MHz 1 GB/2 GB/4 GB
    Type of module - SO-DIMM

So if Toshiba write about 800 MHz modules, you must use the modules to them and not faster.
You may be able to use faster too, but they do not work with the maximum speed, but not going down to 800 MHz.

If you want to use max RAM amount use recommended and tested 2 x 2 Go DDR2-800 (PA3669U-1M2G).
Indicated as compatible RAM, 4 GB DDR2-800 (PA3670U-1M4G).

    Hi Alison

Many users of this forum asking for updates of graphics options. I must tell you that the upgrade is not possible. The graphics card on the laptop is different, like on the desktop pc. It is a small chip that attaches to the motherboard.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to s.
