When I realize the performance issues, I check and find tht 'daily' Setup for MS disk defragmentation is not in fact run every day. I am watching silent movies and waiting for a 500 GB drive to effectively defragment, pass it is on average 1 percent per minute (with any other IO goes on the disc and app collection closed).

  There must be (I hope) a flag I can put to Disk Defragmenter to be more aggressive in its analysis.

  It is Windows 7 64 bit running on AMD processors, disks are sATA plugged in, although there is also a matrix RAID PCI Promise, it's usually when I started Hello I/O on the Board of 2 TB or utilization of the 'C', I realize the lack of defragmentation. I recall, before the SP1 under WIN 7, he ran on a daily basis, in fact, rather than an API algorith "guess".

  There are several reasons why the built-in Defragmenter may not work correctly:

  Method 1: He is also a malware on the system. Solution: Run an anti-virus control and also a spyware check.

  Method 5: There are other programs that are running this interruption, the built-in Defragmenter. Solution:

  b. If you think there may be some programs that run in the background.

  e. under the 'Applications' tab, you will find a list of all running applications - you can close these by selecting "end task."

  Right underneath a week ago I had really touched other than work with Windows Server Core Powershell/PowerCLI. After a request for measures of host VI of my boss and thanks to the help of the forum and its members, I am now my head around things and I have two scripts that run as scheduled tasks that gather on the fly / a week average information for our ESX / ESXi hosts.

  I hit a bit of a good brick wall; He also wants me to collect data rolling base for guests on a daily basis, and I tried to set up a script that I can run once a week, which collects averages daily, per day, for seven days. At the base of the levels, let's say I have two hosts and I want to raise the average CPU per day for seven days, which looks something like:

  As you plan the scan at 5:00 every day, the system must be switched on at the scheduled time and allow the analysis to be performed. If the system is turned OFF or the system is shut down during the analysis, we encounter this problem. However, there is a setting that can be applied to the analysis starts automatically when the system boots.
   
  To activate this setting, try the following steps.
  1. Click Start, type taskschd.msc and press to enter.
  2. click on continue in the UAC prompt.
  3. in the right pane, click view, and click Show hidden tasks to check it out. (See screenshot below step 7)
  4. in the left pane, click the arrow on the Task Scheduler Library folder and the folder of Microsoft to develop.
  5. click on the folder of Windows Defender.
  6. in the middle pane, right-click on the MP scheduled Scan list and click Properties.
  7. click on the settings tab.
  8. check the 'run task as soon as possible after a regular departure is missed box."
  NOTE: This will allow Windows Defender perform the scheduled scan the next time you have the computer if the scan is not respected because she is not able to run at the scheduled time.
  9. click on the OK button.
  10. Close Task Scheduler window.

  We have data as above a table and we want to calculate all the days, the hourly average for large data set (almost 100 million).  Is it possible to use the sql functions of analysis for better performance instead of the ordinary average and group of?  Or any other way better performance?

  Don't know if that works better, but instead of using to_char, you could use trunc. Try something like this:

  We have a network partially hosted with a hosting company reasonably inexperienced. They have a dozen size medium accounts including us, and they recently put in place an implementation of MARCH, which, at first sight, seemed to be a pretty nice addition.

  The way it was set up well just wondering if there is actually any significant use to want to use it. They have a subnet on which * all * customers modules ASA AIP, Cisco IDS boxes etc... (Well, less of the etcetera I believe) and the device in MARCH. For us, it will include two pairs of ASA, so two AIP active at a given time.

  our hosted network contained also a Nokia Checkpoint cluster, a couple of 3745, a pair of PIX 515e, a pair of PIX 525, 4 3560 'catalyst, catalyst 2950 4 s's, F5 networks LTM/GTM/ASM, and of course the ASA pair them. Then we have a WAN and then pretty much still in a network that we run for ourselves. All these devices are connected to a different network and have no route to the platform in MARCH.

  Therefore, research on what can make MARCH, connecting only 2 IPS is really missing out on about 80% of the potential of the boxes and all you will get out of it is the removal of certain events, a smidge of correlation, and that's all. And as it is indeed out of band, it then exists only on one plasma screen in the area of operations.

  Looks like they themselves shot in the foot to me... should I not use it and instead of keeping the direct management and clarity to see the real pitfalls in our area wide radars which other devices are already connected to very well? We can easily look at traps snmp with other systems...

  If you use just MARCH to show data from the sensor, I wouldn't waste my time. However, if you put the switches, firewalls, etc. on the MARCH, then it is a good solution. The main advantage for MARCH (according to me) can be achieved if you have all your devices send syslogs, access administrator enabled, etc.
