Damaged on windows vista driver

Hey, I was wondering if there was anyway I could fix my computer without taking it personally. My computer has encounter a corrupt driver and some file. I did what the computer told me of putting in the windows vista install disc, but it did not charge or anything. Help, please!

Make sure that you change the boot order.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

See you soon.

  • Windows Vista Driver Seagate Ext. Hard drive not recognize

Hello: I have a "push button" five years external seagate hard drive. Vista support applications for this unit - implementation and applications - but when I go to back up my hard drive to laptop (windows vista OS) may not perform the function because of driver problem. I contacted seagate and they said that their hard drives is not software, and there is a problem with the recognition of windows vista driver. the seagate works fine with xp. need help. is there a patch for this problem download?  Thanks, ej.

    milkprod,
Can you tell me what the model number is the external hard drive Seagate that you try to make it work?

Here is a link to the Seagate external drive Troubleshooter - problems of detection of the Windows Vista operating system - http://www.seagate.com/ww/v/index.jsp?locale=en-US&name=ext-ts-vista&vgnextoid=694d8b0e50e73110VgnVCM100000f5ee0a0aRCRD.

You can also try to remove software and / or drivers currently installed, remove the disc, then plug the drive back in and let Vista install default drivers.

If none of these things work let us know what is the model number of the drive and what version of Vista are you using and we will be able to immediately help you.

  • Windows Vista driver VGP-UTVAX1 TV tuner

Many people, it's pretty simple investigation.

Someone know where I can get the driver for the above topic above? That is to say, the pilot of Tuner of TV Sony VGP-UTVAX1?

I've migrated my Sony VGN-AX580G laptop OS from Windows XP MCE (supplied with the laptop) to Windows Vista and now can't use my TV Tuner. When I plug it in, Vista he knows, trying to find a driver for this but is unable to do so. He reccomends the driver that came with the hardware but, of course, I didn't do it. I noticed that Microsoft did not care of several things in this migration, for example, my touch pad doesn't have a driver for Vista as well.

Anyway, does anyone have a recommendation or solution, please reply to this thread.

I've migrated my Sony VGN-AX580G laptop OS from Windows XP MCE (supplied with the laptop) to Windows Vista and now can't use my TV Tuner. When I insert in the drive Bay, Vista recognizes, trying to find a driver online for her but is unable to do so then finally asks me to install from the DVD. Of course, I don't have a DVD that contains the driver. It seems to me that Sony or Microsoft supported on several things in this migration, for example, my touch pad doesn't have a driver for Vista, so therefore my investigation.

    Hello

    1. you have the disc to reinstall Vista with the product key with you?

If you have the disk, you can get the other motherboard and re install the operating system and activate using the product key.

You can choose a custom Setup during the installation of the operating system. In a custom installation, you will lose all the programs installed. Make sure that you format the drive during installation. Once installation is complete, you will find the data in the Windows.old folder.

Important: You may lose data while performing a custom installation, it is advisable that you make a backup of your hard drive.

  • How can I get an installer for Windows Vista drive?

    Need windows on a drive!

I have an acer aspire 5315 with OEM windows vista Basic. I want to perform a new installation of this version of windows on my laptop that there have been some problems (multiple annoying windows error codes) and want to start over. I have not provided with an installation for windows cd when I bought this laptop a few years again. I have a license for this laptop windows key but not drive! I am able to get one sent me free I paid initially for windows?  Thanks, Mike

    Hello

Contact Acer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it

they do it for a nominal cost of $

    https://secure.TX.Acer.com/rcdb/main.aspx?brand=Acer

also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or ACER Alt + F10 at startup to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

Ask them of the exact key sequence

or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc

Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

they contain all versions of vista

This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

  • Y at - it produces a Windows Vista Driver for Tungsten T2 update

    Hi all

I recently bought a new computer with Vista o/s. I need Sciez Hot Sync. I downloaded and installed the Vista driver capable, but was unable to find the driver for the Hot Sync H/W. ' d you please let me know if there is a driver available for the old cradle?

Thanks in advance for your support,

    Ziggy

ZiggyMan, much depends on the version of Vista you have.  It is 32-bit or 64-bit?

If 64-bit, there is no USB drivers to use a cable or a cradle.  You can use BlueTooth to HotSync the two.  If your computer has BlueTooth inside radio, there are USB dongles that can be purchased to add capacity.

There is a great thread sticky at the top of this article about the problem.  "Vista64 Solution."

Kaspersky is a common cause of BSOD.

I remove and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials if you use vista or win 7.  If you are using win 8 or higher, I would use the built-in Defender.

    Hello Shadow

Maybe a stupid question, but I would like to know why you need to install driver WLAN. As far as I know your laptop comes with Vista Home Premium. The recovery image (factory settings) contains the right WLAN driver.
You have lost the feature or what?
Are you still using an original preinstalled OS or you try ti install your own operating system?

This bug check indicates that the driver is in an inconsistent or invalid power state.

If we run one! Check irp on the 4th parameter of the bug, we get the following:

I wanted to use my Xbox360 HD Player on my pc, what program/software I need to play IE HD movies: PowerDVD, Windows Media Player?

    Hi ScottyK,

    Thanks for the reply.

Check the video settings in Windows Media Center and try to play the movie.

Step 1: Open Media Center and check the video settings.
Step 2: Connect the HD DVD player to the USB port of your computer. This port is usually located on the side or the front of your computer. A corresponding USB port will be located at the rear of the DVD player. Both ends of the cable are the same and can be plugged into a USB port. Connect the USB cable to the back of the DVD player.
Step 3: Insert the DVD into the DVD drive.
Step 4: Try to play the movie using Media Center and check for functionality.

  • How to replace the audio driver by default and applet on Windows Vista Home Premium Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop computer?

I had sound problems and got a pop up saying audio applet did not work, I chkd the sound test in Control Panel and drivers in Device Manager it says all drivers have been updated and had a MS Mr. Fixit scan and everything said it was OK. Also I went to chat with and MS engineer who just told me to do the things that I had already done so who did not help either.  Then, I lost all sound and when I went and chkd Manager of devices, he said that the sound driver was not installed, I went to Dell to have a driver update installed thinking to recognize the missing driver and install it but that didn't work. I can't find something at Dell who tells me how to install the drivers by default/applets. I got chk Dell for updates of pilot and analysis says that it does not work on something more old then XP but my OS is a Vista Home Premium so I don't understand that, I ran an another Mr. Fixit scan but it showed no problems. I suspect it is the applet which has stopped working and it gives a wrong signal that it is the driver that does not work when it is the applet which poses problem. Is there a scan which analyzes all aspects of the audio system and will repair or replace or at least give me a list of things that need to be replaced or updated? Any help would be appreciated I tried to solve this problem for the past two months and I really want to fix this now if possible.
