DAQ salidas remotas a relevador

Buenos dias, he estado buscando alguna DAQ para hacer a control system, el programa are esta hecho, solo falta the physical interface. Biogen buscando DAQ, pero solo 10V encuentro, no are Renault con salidas/tickets o relevador 24V?.

Otra cosa me interesaria're salidas remotas to control red por, OR las work?.

Lo could do are stupid meter of trabajarlo y UN PLC OPC, pero creo as seria mas facil y con uniform mas Renault o algo parecido. May sugerirme algo?

Saludos!

MUCHAS gracias, algo asi, estaba buscando!

  • Remote access for PXI with DAQmx

I have a PXI chassis with a real-time embedded (PXI-8186) controller and some modules DAQ (PXI-6259) x 2. I've been programming this via LabWindows with a kind of client-server of RT - UI thing by using network variables and others. For some applications, it would be enough and more convenient to be able to interact with the PXI hardware directly from a connected PC network DAQ.

The controller running a VISA server, it seems that I could connect to a remote machine with a kind of viOpen ("visa://pxi.somewhere.com//PXI0::15:INSTR"); ") and then contact a particular data acquisition card. But I can't find any information on the programming of the 6259 in any way other than DAQmx or similar.

First question then: is the interface PXI - 6259 VISA described anywhere?

More practical would be to continue to use DAQmx, through something like DAQmxCreateDOChan (taskHandle,"pxi.somewhere.com//Dev1/port0/line0:4",...)

I found references to what we call 'Remote access appliance', for example:

    http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/5CC9792C6CD4A34C862565BC0072D5DF

that seems to put in place something equivalent, but I don't find it to watch it in MAX:

Start-> all programs-> National Instruments-> NI - DAQ-> the remote device access server

and I've seen suggestions that maybe it isn't that for traditional DAQ or only pre 7.0, or in any other way was no longer applicable.

Second question: "Remote device access" are always and how to I install/activate it on my PXI controller?

Someone at - it clues as to the foregoing, or any other way to get the same kind of features?

    Thank you

    LANL

    Hello Mike,.

Remote device access was a feature in NOR-DAQ traditional long just now.  This feature was not worn on OR-DAQmx because the framework it was built on does not really correspond with the need of modern times for network security.

Unfortunately, there is no functionality you describe by saying to DAQmx.  Currently, this type of control is limited to deploying applications to the target of RT.  While the VISA is used for some parts of the DAQmx interaction, these function calls are not documented.  Someone else on the forums may be able to help if they tried to implement something like this in the past.

    Good luck!

  • Panel Test DAQ opened on the remote system

Using the command-line tool nidmfpan.exe you open a test panel to a device on your system by specifying its name.  Here is an article which he described.

    http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/9B628A8B1B13136F86256DDB0004DE4D

But what is not mentioned is how to call this function if it will open a panel of test on a RT system.  This is possible because in MAX, you can select the hardware and the same test panel is displayed, but I don't know the right way to call this EXE, so it will open it.  Is there any place that command line switches are documented for this program?  And what is the method for opening a panel of test on a piece of DAQ hardware on a remote system?  Thank you.

Since nobody has been able to help me I thought about it myself.  If you call the application nidmfpan.exe with the command line switch send_break_action: with the IP address of the remote system it works great.  I also found you can use the/dev: instead of the /devid: to specify the device by a unique identifier instead of the alias MAX.  Thus, for example:

    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\nidmfpan.exe /host:192.168.129.1/dev: {84535FB2-8F2A-11E6-8061-00802F25AF78}

    Or

    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\nidmfpan.exe /host:192.168.129.1 /devid:cDAQ1Mod2

  • Using DAQ Assistant with a system remotely

I'm new to LabVIEW and National Instruments hardware and I am trying to use an instrument with LabVIEW using the DAQ Assistant. I use a PC with Windows Vista and I am connected via a network to a PXI-8108 controller in a PXI-1050 chasiss chassis. The instrument is just a thermocouple which I use to become familiar with everything. The thermocouple is connected and the connection SCB-68 block which is connected to a PXI-6221 multifunction data acquisition in the chassis. I am able to create a task in MAX under remote system and everything seems to work. What I want to do is to use this instrument in LabVIEW, and it seems that for this I need to use the DAQ Assistant, but when I do it says no supported device is found. I wonder if there is a way to get LabVIEW lean on the remote system to see the acquisition of data and the thermocouple.

    All advice is appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hi all

Ben is correct.  RDA is no longer supported in DAQmx.  We have another way to use DAQmx with a remote system.  It is use DAQmx with an OPC server or simply by shared network variables.  There is a section of the base of knowledge here that should help you get started.  You should also take a look at the developer section area here.  The basic idea is that you can use a variable shared within labVIEW that is bound to a variable shared on your networked machine.  In this way, you can write and read values from a task DAQmx.  Look at the instructions in the above two items and let me know if you have any questions.

    Kind regards

  • readings of Veristand instruments with a remote system

I'm new to the National Instruments and Veristand material and I'm trying to use an instrument with Veristand to see if I can get readings of this instrument. What I want to do is to get the readings in Veristand, and I don't know if I need to create a custom device that is related to the acquisition of data somehow, or if there is another way to do it. I created the DAQ hardware in the system Explorer, but I see no way to link the real DAQ hardware on the remote system. I wonder if anyone can help with this.

    All advice is appreciated.

    Thank you

You can read the value of your thermocouple directly from VeriStand channel, but the process is different than using MAX.

In the system Explorer, add your DAQ hardware that is wired to your SCB-68. Make sure that you specify the same name (i.e. ' Dev1'), which is the make up something, you also that you have imported the peripheral canal which hangs to the thermocouple (i.e. "ai0"). There is no way in System Explorer to specify that this channel should be scaling of thermocouple. VeriStand initially served this string value value brute power. However, you can set the limit high and low for this channel to something small as +/-1V, since thermocouples have very small readings.

You add the balance to your system separately after the deployment of the system definition, you have created the target of RT. For this to connect to the target using the workspace and select the tool to the workspace on the Tools menu called channel scaling and Calibration Manager.

In this dialog box, you will see your TV listed DAQ. Navigate in the dialog box assign an appropriate scale of thermocouple to your channel. Once this is done, the target will remember the scale for this channel until what crush you.

I would like to know how it goes...

Esto implica para building UN PWM needs back contadores, con lo cual, TR géneras United Nations PWM el otro no lo puedes usar. Have that use otra tarjeta adicional M series o buy una X (63xx) series that usa the STC3 tecnologia y permite UN con PWM building a solo contador. Te copio this information:

  • SMU remote system do not read file .lvm

I try to get my remote system (SMU remote system) to send a signal of analog voltage by reading a file .lvm.

I have a project in real time implemented, and under my remote system, I have a VI that is supposed to give a signal of analog voltage.

The implementation of VI begins by reading a file position (.lvm). After that, it is connected to a DAQ assistant.

I'm already sure that everything is connected properly, and that it is the right channel. The reason why I'm sure is because in the DAQ assistant window, I can click on "run" in order to send a test signal. I am able to capture this signal to test with an oscilloscope. Therefore, I am sure that the system is all set up correctly.

Finally, I don't know if it's important, but the measure file he was reading is located in my host. I don't know if I deploy when the VI to the target, if the measurement file is sent to the remote system with the VI.

I was wondering if someone could help me please.

    Thank you

    Leon

    Hi Leon,

If I understand correctly, you are trying to read a file .lvm waveform data and send this waveform through your SMU system. What devices are specifically using (chassis, modules...)? What exactly happens when you run the VI? You see errors? If so, what are the codes that come with these errors? Additional information on what the file .lvm would be also useful. What are the functions you use to play the .lvm file?

    Kind regards

  • Turn the remote power on/off

Hi, I had a SCB-68 DAQ card. I would like to set up a high voltage ON OFF LabView options to be able to remote, turn on or turn off the high voltage to power cold cathode (the manual is attached, see pp. 24 and 25), but honestly, I don't know how to do it. Can anyone give me a tip please?

NOR has the 6008 and for students, myDAQ. Other suppliers might be. Depends on what you might want to use.

  • Labview Remote problem

    Hello!

I have a NI USB DAQ of 6341 who assume to control a horse trough PMT and LED Labview 2010.

But, Labview is not installed in my PC, I use it remotely from the University and I am facing problem to use DAQmx (version 9.3.5) in Labview.

What I want to know is how to make my remote Labview for data acquisition in my computer.

I guess it's a very simple question, but after hours trying to find a solution, I decided to ask the experts...

    Thank you!

    Hello RadGent,

This solution will not work in your case.

However with NOR-DAQmx 8.0 and later, NOR-DAQmx OPC features can be used to obtain the features of reliable network of remote systems.
GDR (as mentioned in the document you provided) is not supported in NOR-DAQmx.

You can try something like this:

    http://zone.NI.com/DevZone/CDA/tut/p/ID/3742

The best and the most simple of measures to be taken would be to install the software locally, especially because you are working with a USB device.

Goes on ethernet, at University, then return in the same pc to connect to the DAQ card would seriously increase the latency of the system.

  • Can I synchronize compactDAQ and cards for the generation M Series DAQ waveform continues non-regenerating in RT

    Hello

I use a M Series DAQ card (6229) multichannel and multipoint make reading and writing of waveforms, all synced to a clock generated on the 6229.  Now I need to extend that to a "remote" (10 m) location and I was planning to use the Ethernet (9188 or 9184) CompactDAQ chassis or maybe 9144 Ethercat slave.  Before I have buy and learn the hard way, I thought I would ask some advice:

    My questions are:

    (1) using the DAQmx can I access the IO on 9184 or transparent 9144 using a multichannel multipoint DAQmx task as I do for the PCI 6299 card?

    (2) are all of these chassis supported if I use RT on the host?

    (3) is the best way to synchronize and trigger the remote system to the host using a digital line between the 6229 plug-in and the chassis from a distance, and if so, how can I connect it to the chassis and set it as a sample clock?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi AnthonV-

You make perfect sense.  And, I am pleased to report that you can program your analog output task CompactDAQ to use a clock timed by material, like your M Series device.  In fact, it is possible (and perhaps even likely) that the same code of OR-DAQmx you use for M-series can be used directly on CompactDAQ also long that the AO, relaxation and sources of timing and similar channels can be updated to point to your CompactDAQ chassis.

As I've mentioned before, please note that only the CompactDAQ USB chassis (except the cDAQ-9172) are compatible with the PharLap LabVIEW RT objectives.  I don't know if this will meet your needs for a > extension of 10 m from the host system.

    Buenos Dias, Rafael,

Me designed that are MAX a self-test, esto hiciste en el para poder saber if you componente esta in buen estado. If you llegara a dar como resultado as no lo pasa ahi tendriamos problemas.

Sin embargo, no creo as you sea este caso, todas maneras No debes pasar por el alto hacer esta prueba.

MAS especificamente sober lo as our questions, esta tarjeta tiene relevadores estado solido, por lo as the conexion no can be directa.

In estos links to habla a sober poquito como hacer las conexiones para una Señal TTL handle, not con the cual no tendrias problemas para poder encender UN LED.

  • Can't see the new PXI cards on my remote

I am currently reconfiguration from a 1006 PXI chassis for a new program. It was adding three new cards in the system. The configuration is currently:

    1 - controller NI PXI-8176
    2 - OR PXI-6040E
    3 - OR PXI-8421
    4 - OR PXI-6533
    5 - OR PXI-6533
    6 - OR PXI-6533
    7-
    8 - OR PXI-6713
    9 - OR PXI-6040E
    10 - OR PXI-2590
    11 NI PXI-4204 (new)
    12 NI PXI-6515 (new)
    13 NI PXI-2570 (new)

Each card can be seen by MAX on the PXI chassis when started in Windows very well. However, when I start in the program in time real and you connect to the chassis using my office (and MAX), the remote system appears well, but with none of the new cards listed. (They are listed in the vacuum or unknown). I am at a loss to get these cards recognized. They seem to be installed correctly, as the own of the MAX station can see them. But apparently I missed a step in their installation... I am relatively new to this, can you help me?

    Thank you

    Bingo.

That's all. Cards have been recognized immediately once I upgraded to LabView 7.1 and real-time 7.1 7.2 OR-DAQ.

  • How to configure a PXI controller - 8106 RT with DAQ traditional channels?

I have a few tips that are not compatible DAQmx and do not appear in MAX (4.6). I want to configure them to traditional DAQ, but if following the instructions (Tools / traditional DAQ/Remote Configuration) the error "connection to the remote computer XXX error. Make sure that the GDR server is running on the remote computer, and that both computers are connected to the internet. "They are connected with a crossover cable, and the machine rises to the MAX. I can run the server of the GDR on the local computer, but don't see no way to start it on the remote control of the RT. Right click on the machine of MAX and say 'Create New' do not have the traditional DAQ option, only items DAQmx. And MAX takes forever with this controller and often crashes... I made sure the software on the controller corresponds to that of the local computer (LV 2009 with RT).

    Lauréla,

Please post on the Forums of NOR. It seems as if you do not see MAX devices, then you do not have the driver installed on your computer. I recommend to install the driver traditional DAQ 7.4.4 on your Windows machine, then you can install the T-data acquisition driver on your RT system. From there, you should be able to see your T-materials under your remote systems.

    Hi gwanupnorth,

After checking with file-> Refresh in ARD Admin and there are still agents machine correct without DNS:

-Check in the list of the scanners of ARD Admin, if the machines of 18 or more are detected it with the correct DNS name.

-If Yes, click on each one and update the username: password: and it should update the corresponding entry in all computers.
