  Maybe a recovery disk is damaged. I suggest to create a new installation of Windows 8 media and check if it makes a difference.

  Not sure what your definition of "auto-refresh" is. In case you know the event that will trigger the refresh, and you want to redraw the tree, simply call

  ITreeViewMgr::ClearTree()

  ITreeViewMgr::ChangeRoot (kTrue)

  PnlTrvIdleTask::refresh() clearly shows.

• A dashboard obiee exposes a hyperion workspace

  Hi all
  
  I have no experience with hyperion workspaces, does anyone know how (or if) a dashboard obiee may expose to a hyperion workspace?
  In other words, having obiee provide a link to a workspace, or, better yet, have links to documents of hyperion in a dashboard obiee.
  I've seen articles the other way around, where obiee can be integrated in the hyperion workspaces, but what I'm looking for.

  From now on, he does support the essbase integration and use the cubes directly in BI.

  These symptoms are intriguing for me:

  On #3: Remember to always disable Firefox to use hardware acceleration? After the update, it is reactivated by default.

  However, if this does not help, I would try to disable hardware acceleration here:

  "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced

  In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.

  This takes effect the next time you exit Firefox and start it again. Any difference?

  On #4: We remind the tabs pinned as part of your tabs and windows open. Is anything get restored? I assume you are using history > restore previous Session if you not automatically restore your previous session. (Restore previous session - configure when Firefox shows your most recent tabs, windows and)

  If you have pinned back before tabs without having to restore your session, which could have been manipulated by an add-on.

  On #5: I can't think what would cause that, unless the problem is that, after the closure of the last window, Firefox hangs and continues to run instead of closing completely. In this case, you get a message from Firefox that it cannot start because it is still ongoing, but there is no tiling/button/tab on the taskbar.

• Function 'Internet time' will automatically refresh after reboot - please help

  I can't get the "Internet time" auto time update function system after restarting the computer in windows 7.  He should tell me when the next synchronization will happpen, but this isn't unless I do it manually by clicking on the button update.  Then he went after the reboot.

  Example: If I click on the clock at the bottom right of the screen and then select "Change date and time settings" and then click on the tab "Internet time" he says: "this computer is configured to synchronize automatically with"time.nist.gov.  Then on the next line, he says: "this computer is configured to synchronize automatically on a regular basis.   However, I checked that he never does that.  Or he tells me when he is going to do.

  To temporarily solve the problem, I click on the "Edit settings" button and then click on 'Update Now' and he said, "the clock has been properly synchronized with time.nist.gov on 15/03/2010 at 22:25" for example. I press OK.  So far so good.  Now the tab "Internet time" has a line that reads, "next synchronization 16/03/2010 at 02:25.  Which is 4 hours later, because the specialpollvalue registry variable is set for 4 hours.

  THIS IS WHAT I WANTED!  But the next time I restart the computer and check under the tab "Internet time", it comes back again tell me what is the next synchronization.  And the problem comes back to where it will not refresh automatically.   So reboot he kills.  All this works fine on another computer with XP.  But on a new, clean installation of windows 7 that is not.  Am I missing something?  Is there a setting I need to adjust so that it can stay active after restarting?

  Maybe you will get better results if you set the default value for domain members (3600), rather that I assume you have set for the 2400?  He may not know your adjustment because he runs into some unknown to me, another setting?  I guess you did not literally any value to read "4 hours" instead of 2400 decimals or whatever is the equivalent of Hex, did you leave in any commas in the value?  Sorry for asking that, please don't be offended by the question, but more strange things occur.

  After working on a workbook I now get the following error if I try to access the page to view the results or even if I try to access change.

  I don't know about the crash, but to remove the problem, check if the webcat (located in \OracleBIData\web\catalog\) files are read-only.

• Automatically refresh a page in some intervals in the adf

  I am working in a project where I need to refresh a page adf automatically every 30 seconds.
  I tried the following.
  I put < meta http-eqiv = "REFRESH" content = "30" / > inside the head of the .jspx page element.
  It works very well but with some problems.
  After loging in the applicaton I need to refresh this page of destination after the cut. So I put the above code as above, inside the < head > element.
  My problem is that after refreshing in 30 seconds its getting automatically logged off without destroying the session.
  My requirement is that after you have updated the same landing page must be displayed with the connected session.
  I use ADF faces with ADF business components.
  
  Please throw some ideas on what I badly need for my work.

• Problem with refresh PDFKit full screen

  I do a lot of presentations in PDF format (they are usually created with LaTeX, but I as explained below, this detail has nothing to do with the problem).

  Very often a slide appears in increments - think of several chips which are revealed one by one.

  What is really happening, is that each step is a separate page, but the user should not notice it.

  So if you have a bulleted list

  •A

  •B

  •THIS

  There are really three separate pages (one that contains just A, an and B and a with A, B, C).

  When you advance to the next overlay, it seems that a and B has been added to the screen, and then a C (even if every time an entire page is replaced by the next).

  In the Sierra this screen refresh is not smooth and the public can clearly see the screen "shaking."

  I tested it on two machines. I did a test of the Keynote presentation, which looks great; and then did the same with the PDF version and it is fragile. It was regardless of what program I used to view (Preview, Skim, TeXShop), which indicates that the problem is in the common framework, they use all - PDFKit.

  I already submitted comments to Apple, but I'd like to hear if people also see this; just to make sure that it is not something weird on my machines.

  Yes, I confirm this. It seems that PDFKit "re-focuces" fonts whenever we turn the page. While this might be great for static pages (best font anti-aliasing) is certainly a problem for presentations: you can clearly see the fonts from blurry to sharp in the slides with incremental changes. That's all just awful. On the other hand, PDFKit is not smooth images embedded in pdf files in the Sierra at all: those with straight lines will look on-screen civet. Once again, all just awful. Bad bad, Apple!
