  We have a laptop and we run a LabView control and acquisition of data on this subject program. We would like to have access to some of the values of the "indicators through an android tablet, so during an operation manual tap on our facilities, we could see remotely what happens with some measured values in our application LabView.

  The ethernet port is not available on this laptop, it is used for a sensor. It has wifi and bluetooth adapter. What would be the easiest solution to access the LabView app on this laptop from the Android device by using the "dashboard of data for LabView" android app? For security reasons, this laptop can't access internet, but of course, we could all just put a near wireless router (and not connect to the internet), and the laptop computer and the android Tablet access the same wifi network. I guess it should work, Yes?

  Or is it possible to make a connection to wifi ad-hoc between the laptop and the Tablet and use the DataDashboard? Anyone has any experience with such a solution?

  Last question: or what a Bluetooth connection? Might work?

  I don't think that it is possible to use the Bluetooth with the application of the dashboard of data for Android. I can't find any information on Bluetooth, only for the WiFi.

• Deployment of casting RT VI for SBRIO-9631 does not run

  I use the following with a SBRIO-9631:

  LabVIEW 2010

  RIO 3.5.1

  VISA 5.0

  I stripped down to my program to the point... so I now have a simple communication TCP/IP RT VI which comes from the STM. I have install a real-time application generation and built the VI (RT_com_ .vi [top level]). After that I have a right-click to deploy in the 9631, in a popup, it says once he needs to restart so I click ok. So when I run the Windows host VI it should connect and get the STM meta data, but is not, and it seems that the RT VI is not running or?

  I joined the project if someone wants to beat the head with her that I am running out of ideas.

  I found my problem with the code.

  It turns out that the ownership of the attributes of the objects in the front should be avoided. I was using a property node to read my meta of an enum of the type defined... strict data channels beautiful methodology Windows not RT when I replaced this with an array of string constants, meta-data, I was able to control my RT application.   Why controls in my link of VI labview for the dashboard of data OR used? My indicators link perfectly. When I set up the server and then do the 'interrogate web service' on the dashboard of data, it never shows me the control options link.

  It seems that there is some problems with your web service URL mapping. The method of "inputs" pointed the bad VI (COAST.vi instead of inputs.vi). And inputs.vi controls had spaces in their names, which meant that LabVIEW could not create the automatic URL mapping. I have attached a project and VI which has these problems solved. If you rebuild and redeploy the web service, I hope you can see the entries in the data table.

  The rate of updating the dashboard data for 1.0 is set to 1 second of webservices and 0.2 second for variable network shared, of course depends on the amount of information on the network continuously. On the second version of the dashboard of data, you can specify your update frequency within a range

  I am trying to export several networks of neurons in simulink model to the SBRIO-9631. I use the simulation interface toolkit to achieve and I started with the model of the sine wave, downloaded from http://www.ni.com/white-paper/11654/en.

  After the installation of the Toolbox (Windows Xp 32-bit, matlab 2011 - a 32bits, labview 2012 and 2012 SIT too), I add the path in matlab directory SIT and I start the server in matlab. I see the message about the port is started and I proceed to generate the dll. I have set up the Solver of discrete steps with a length of 0.005 and I chose the nidll_vxworks.tlc for the target system. I proceeded to build and I have this error:

  In the sbRIO-9631 operating instructions , that you can see on page 12, Figure 9, that the J7 connector allows you to access the analog I/o. This is where you do not use a C Series module. You can connect your sensor in several ways: CSR, NRSE and differential.

  You can see the article field wiring and considerations of noise for analog signals for more information on how to wire your sensor. We recommend to use a differential connection in case you have several sensors and are concerned about the loyalty of the signals. In the case where your sensor is a floating signal source, you would want to addition of polarization resistance of AI - AI GND.

  I think you can consult this manual for sbRIO 9632. There the guide step by step on how to extract data from sbRIO (although it says about RIO that includes cRIO but they are more a less the same thing in regards to getting analog data for your case)

  Please take note the voltage and current that the analog input sbRIO pines can take before you plug.

  I want to transfer my data to an external with installation DVD drive because my Mac OS isn't bootable anymore because of the sierra of mac os. So I'll do a new install of snow leopard on my macbook late 2009. Does anyone know how to transfer my data in my external drive across the disc of the DVD Installer prior to installation of Snow Leopard sanitation? Somone told me to do it this way, but I don't know how.

  I recommend strongly against from any attempt of recovery/reinstallation without a valid (and verified) backup on a different disk. As you are still able to boot the system with the installation DVD, you can

  • use Disk Utility on the installation DVD to create a full backup of your internal drive to an external
  • copy /Applications and /Users to an external drive (which should focus on 'all' critical data)

  Then comes to an attempt of resettlement.

  You can restore your data after the installation of the operating system. First make a note of bookmark, password or registration required by your system.

  Perform a full backup with time machine, then restart with your installation dvd, then reinstall the operating system

  When Setup restarts, you can restore your data with the migration wizard.

  When possible, you should do a clean install with 3rd party applications and drivers HW until the migration may or may not be compatible with the older operating system and removes the possibility of corruption of preference.

  Yes, cellular data are a function of carrier.

  You can re - download all your media, and if you use iCloud for Messages, Notes, Contacts, calendars, stream of pictures, etc, then once you connect to iCloud, these elements will be re - download to your device.
