Date/time of events help

I'm doing vpet like game on flash for the class, but I need to work with time and dates of events such as the power, sleep, etc.

At least for now I need help, find ways to check the game like every 5 minutes to bring up an alarm on the pet who need food.

Unfortunately, all I have is the following:

Stop();

const millisecondsPerMinute:int = 1000 * 60;

const millisecondsPerHour:int = 1000 * 60 * 60;

const millisecondsPerDay:int = 1000 * 60 * 60 24;

var date1:Date = new Date();

trace (date1);

I get the actual date, but don't know exactly what to do to have it checked every 5 minutes approximately. Don't know if it's with 'if' or ' do / while '.

do not use the class date, use the timer class.

var feedTimer:Timer = new Timer(5*60*1000,0);

feedTimer.addEventListener (TimerEvent.TIMER, feedF);

feedTimer.start ();

whenever vpet is powered, apply a reset() and start() to feedTimer:

function beenfedF (): void {}

feedTimer.reset ();

feedTimer.start ();

}

function feedF(e:TimerEvent):void {}

a diet has been missed

}

  • Software to plan the change of regime power by date/time/event

    Hello

    Is there a software that can change the Windows power mode, according to the date and time and if some applications are running?

    Thank you

    Hello

    A power plan is a collection of hardware and settings system that manage how your computer uses power. Microsoft has no such software to plan the management of power supply according to the date or time or event. You can use your favorite search engine to find and install, however, you can create your own plan to have your own settings. You can see the article how to create power plans.

  • I can't change the date & time to receive automatic updates of Windows XP - help!

    How can I change the date & time to get automatic updates - I've tried everything and did what I was asked to do - still not able to do!       Lin

    What happens when you try to do?

  • Date/time is driving me crazy.  How to set the time automatically?

    Okay, okay.  I hope someone can help me here!

    I tried this in Acrobat Pro first, but I don't know Javascript and therefore could not change the script "Call Date" to get the time instead.

    Fortunately, I also have Livecycle and everything looked so simple, BUT it does not work.

    Let me explain what I'm trying to do.  My boss asked me to develop a form of seizure of newspaper where, after the user types an entry and that leaves the field then the time of entry is automatically saved.  This field should be read-only.

    I created a text field (to act as the journal entry form field).  I then created a Date/time field.  I went to the link and he changed time.  I changed the value read-only and then the model of hh: mm A.

    Implement the action when the user leaves the text field, the value in the DateTime field is inserted automatically.

    It works great EXCEPT that I only have the DATE!  I tried protected ReadOnly (calculated) etc.  This requires a script to be called... the very thing that I wanted to avoid because I can't code.  Duration worked a little - in the PDF itself, when the user leaves the text, the date AND time field appears, but if you click this field, the time is updated.  I don't want to not be updated.  My boss wants to see the time that the log entry was completed if it is not editable by the user or set to date.

    I hope I'm clear as to what I need.  Can anyone help?  Hope so!

    Thank you-

    1. Open my form in the designer.
    2. Highlight a field that gets locked.
    3. In the script editor (above the form design, but below the menu items) in the upper left is a drop-down list labeled Show. This is a list box that displays all the events taken in charge this object. Anything that has the code will have an asterisk next to it. In our case, th eexit event will have code. Choose the exit event and the code will appear in the script window.
    4. Highlight all of the code including the fi and endif statements (do not choose the 1st line having form1. #subform...). Copy this code to the Clipboard
    5. Now, open your form. To change the default language to FormCalc instead of Javascript
    6. Under form th Ted/Properties/menu Deafults in the middle of the screen to ensure that the default language is set to FormCalc and not Javascript and make sure that the default run to a customer value (on by default)
    7. I guess you do something similar where you have a field and time of newspaper next to her.
    8. Make sure each field and the corresponding time Journal game field has a unique name.
    9. Now kighlight the 1st field you want to lock.
    10. In the script editor, choose the exit event (as we did before)
    11. Place the cursor after the 1st line in the script editor and paste the code located in the Clipboard in the script editor.
    12. Now, we need to edit the script to point to your object names. I pasted a version of the code below... .teh part in red is the name of my item... .you need to edit it to point to your object names. She's.

  • Extended metadata date / time shift

    Up for it seems that Lightroom 3 can only enter a new date / time for the Meta data creation / change / change the values. Or it can change the weather not 1 hour to fix timezone problems whitin has set +/-range.

    Now imagine all that I have image files from different cameras on the same event and the internal time of the device is not the same to any camera, medium, for example a camera time is 20 minutes late (-20 min) compared to another device. Of course, so I could enter a time for the moment of creation in lightroom directly. But I should do for 300 images?

    I need a function extended the date / time modified:

    It should be possible to make a change of the batch of pictures of +/-hh to adapt the images from a camera (which had a bad interal time setting) to real-time or at least an hour from another device (of course you need to know the difference in time between the hours of the camera).

    Such a function is properly provided by the software bit EXIFTool - but it isn't pleasant manage files outside of Lightroom image comes to alter time. And Lightroom already has a function for this - but its possibilities are not good enough.

    Please implement this as soon as possible.

    Best regards

    Jochen

    If you type "change the capture time" on the Help menu, you'll find this:

    If more than one photo is selected in the grid, Lightroom changes the capture time for the active photo of the specified adjustment. (The active photo is presented as a preview in the Edit Capture time dialog box.) Other photos of the selection are adjusted by the same amount of time. If more than one photo is selected in the Filmstrip in Loupe mode, comparison, or investigation, the capture time is changed only on the active photo.

    This should answer your question.

  • root properties in the connected data store: error when accessing the date/time storage

    When you browse the properties my connected data store I get an error message when you try to read the value of the property of 'storage date/time': object doesn't support this property or method.

    Here is a minimal example:

    Dim oMyDataStore, MyProperty, oMyProperties
    Set oMyDataStore = Navigator.ConnectDataStoreByParameter ("TOC", "" & "C:\Program Files (x 86) \National 2012\Examples\Data\Example_data.tdm" & "" ')
    Set oMyProperties = oMyDataStore.RootElements (1). Properties
    For each MyProperty in oMyProperties
    Call MsgBoxDisp ("property name:" & MyProperty.Name & + "\n"&"property value:" & MyProperty.Value "")
    Next

    Why can I not access this particular property by default?

    Hi Phex,

    for the date/time properties, an object called UsiTimeDisp is returned. This object allows to that extend features of service as access to each part separately (day, year, hour, seconds,...) of your date/time value. If you want to print the value of time with MessageBoxDisp, you can use the VariantDate this object property.

    Your code might look like this then:

    Dim oMyDataStore, MyProperty, oMyProperties
    Set oMyDataStore = Navigator.ConnectDataStoreByParameter ("TOC", "" & "C:\Program Files (x 86) \National 2012\Examples\Data\Example_data.tdm" & "" ')
    Set oMyProperties = oMyDataStore.RootElements (1). Properties
    For each MyProperty in oMyProperties
    MyProperty.DataType = eTime Then
    Call MsgBoxDisp ("property name:" & MyProperty.Name & + "\n"&"property value:" & MyProperty.Value. ' ") VariantDate)
    On the other
    Call MsgBoxDisp ("property name:" & MyProperty.Name & + "\n"&"property value:" & MyProperty.Value "")
    End If
    Next

    I hope this helps.

    Good day

  • Daylight Saving Format Date/Time String vs get time in seconds

    Hi all

    I have developed a real-time application using a cRIO 9074 which has two loops. The first gathers data and records the time using the module of ' string of Format Date/time ' with the following time sting: '%d/%m/%Y % H: %m ". The output is a sting with mouth/day/year hour: minute.

    The second loop Gets the cRIO time using the module "get Date/Time in Seconds ' and the output of timestamp is sent by a shared variable for an application that is running on a local computer.

    The problem started Sunday last with DST. With the help of MAX I am able to see that the time of cRIO is bad (1 hour less) and that him "automatically adjust clock for daylight saving time" is not checked and gray, so I am not able to change it.

    The time of the first loop by using the "Date and time Format string' returns the time elapsed between the cRIO (1 hour late), however the time of the second loop is OK. I have manually corrected time using MAX, so now the first loop is correct, and the second is now over an hour.

    Any ideas?

    Dear RavensFan, thank you very much for your answer.

    However, this was not the problem. Apparently the result with or without the element of DST is the same. I solved the problem, for now, by changing a parameter not on the function "get Date/Time in Seconds" but on the time stamp indicator.

    By right clicing the indicator and go to the display Format and the advanced editing mode, I have changed the Format string to a universal time container of this: %< %="" h:="" %m="">< t="" %="" ^="">< %="" h:="" %m=""><>

    Apparently the time from the 'get time in seconds' is still an hour longer, but now it is correctly displayed.

  • Write the Date/time value to a Ms Access table

    I have a headache. Here is the statement I send and the error I get:

    INSERT INTO VALUES (TestID, DateTime) measure (8732, #' 2015 - 01 - 28 16:17:58 ' #);

    NI_Database_API.lvlib:conn Execute.vi-> 2.vi Untitled-> Untitled 1. VIADO error: 0x80040E14
    Exception occurred in the Microsoft JET Database Engine: syntax error in INSERT INTO statement. in NI_Database_API.lvlib:Conn Execute.vi-> 2.vi-> vi Untitled 1 Untitled.

    I tried most of the possible combinations of #, "," around the datetime string and I also tried datetime string formats YYYY/MM/DD hh: mmS AM/PM, DD/MM/YYYY "

    In writing to the other data fields don't cause any error, I only get the syntax error when I try to write in the DateTime field (data type Date/Type)

    I use LV2012 with database connectivity kit and MS Access 2010 (stuck with it, cannot be changed). Same problem with the connection of the user DSN or UDL (jet engine).

    It works with the DB tools Insert Data.vi but we want to use a direct INSERT statement using the DB tools run Query.vi, because we have had a few locks error 0 x 80004005 which can be caused by the DB tools Insert Data.vi using ADODB. Recordset.

    Is attached the vi that I use for debugging.

    Ben64

    Finally found the problem!

    Even if the data type is Date/time in Access, and it is possible to define the name of the DateTime field it seems to be a small Word when you use a SQL statement. The solution is to add DateTime hooks like this:

    INSERT the EXTENT (TestID, [DateTime]) VALUES (1,'2015-01-28 06:52:16 ');

    Thanks for your help Cosworth.

  • TDMS of MDF time stamp conversion error / storage date time change

    I fought it for a while, I thought I'd throw it out there...

    Let's say I have a file TDMS which has a channel of labview time stamp and thermocouple 2.

    I load in DIADEM, I get this:

    Perfect!  But now let's say I want to save the PDM as a MDF file so I can see him in Vector sofa.  I right click and save as MDF, perfect.  I started couch and get this:

    The year 2121, yes I take data on a star boat!  It seems to be taking the stamp of date/time storage TDMS as starting point and adding the TC_Timestamp channel.

    If I change the channel of TC_Timestamp to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 etc... and save as MDF, I get this:

    Very close, 2012!   But what I really want is what to show of the time, it was recorded what would be the 10/09/2012.

    The problem is whenever I do like recording, date storage time is updated right now, then the MDF plugin seems to use it as a starting point.

    is it possible to stop this update in TIARA?

    Thank you

    Ben

    Hi Ben,

    You got it right that the MDF use written the time of storage to start MDF that is updated by DIAdem when writing time. We are working on this and will return to you, if there is no progress.

    To work around the problem, you can try convert TDMS MDF in LabVIEW storage vis.

    Something like the following, you can write your start time of measurement to the MDF file.

    Hope this helps,

    Mavis

  • How to write the Date/time of the PDM file property

    On the page root of the PDM file, there is a predefined, property called ' Date/Time' in the first row.

    I would use it to save the timestamp when the tdms file is created. But in the help file.

    I find that the following property constant. So, how can I write to the field of property ' Date/time '?

  • time and Date/time in seconds

    Judging by some than others, it is a long-term problem.

    With the help of LV 8.6 incidentally.

    I'm trying to convert a date/time for LV timestamp format using the vi Date/time of seconds"." Recently converted time has been displayed as an hour before (I am in UK & DST is now in effect)-a problem I thought that I had healed.

    I wrote a simple test for the VI program (create a constant of the entry and use it to drive a bundle of cluster name to set s/hour/day/month/year etc.) With the function in a loop (0.5s) I have controls to change the month and isDST in the folder & isUTC in the function call - and displays the output in the form of stamp and as EXT. If the month is Pre-dst, everything is ok (for example, an hour of 10 stays at 10), if the month is 5 (DST) then the hour at 11 awards - unless isDST is set to 1 and isUTC set to false. but when this combination of controls is used with the months, a value of 2 - time becomes 9.

    As I say, I thought I had it healed and remember something on the Windows DST flag - and I had recently exchanged PCs - so I turned off the Windows DST (wDST) - no effect. This morning, I rebooted the PC to watch once again this program - to my astonishment, that the 'problem' had gone. I then checked the wDST it was always off. I stopped the criterion VI and closed and on wDST when you attempt to reload the VI of test I had a very weird error message telling me that my VI disk did not 'part of LV in memory' and inviting me to "come back". I stop LV completely rebooted and got the same effect. I restarted the PC and 'come back' was gone and the problem returns (wDST checked).

    So my initial dose had been disable wDST on my m/c origin.

    However, my query is what is the point of setting Date/time to seconds isUTC - it seems doing nothing like what he promises. What little LV blocks also on after I closed the program remember probably the DST Windows defining - maybe wrongly?

  • Simple Data Acquisition question please Help!

    I have problems with a simple LabVIEW program.

    I'm analyzing two inputs voltage and at the moment I have the VI work so that both are analyzed at 10 k Hz simultaneously and displayed in two tables of waveform.  What I would do, it is write values for them at 1 Hz in an excel spreadsheet or a text file with the time, the value of the first and the second value.  So I would create an array of [value1, value2] and export that to a line in a text file, I can analyze and then later in excellent.  I want to keep it that way for the duration of the program. In addition, it is possible to have the LabVIEW to generate such a table statistics once the user closes the loop, it would be even better.

    I can only assume that it is not too complicated, but I've never done any export data and just a quick explanation probably will save me a lot of time.  Any help would be great, even if it's just to say "use this feature.  Thank you very much.

    Pieter,

    Please post on the Forums of NOR. I could take an example that was similar to yours and organize data in the format you want. I've included a photo as well as saved for LabVIEW 8.6 VI. I took the data from the berries that were from the channel to read and handle while he was in the format of time, channel 0 channel 1. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!

    You are wasting time while the computer is turned off? There is a battery n the motherboard than maintaisns t time (and other things) while the computer is turned off. Almost certainly your battery has failed and must be replaced. The batteries are widely available and very little expensive (less 5 $US). They are also quick and easy to replace, but if you are uncomfortable working with your hands inside the computer case, get a friend with more expeirnce to help you.
