  I recently bought a Dazzle DVC 100 and recording o startedt. I do not have the program they give you, its just too messy. I used Windows Movie Maker to record my friends XP OS and it worked on him.   Have you went to "Device Manager" to check it's not a problem with the card?  Have you tried to remove the drivers and reinstall?  I found a link that specifies this problem and has more information that may be useful.  Please let me know if this helped, or if you're still having problems.

  so here's my problem.  I just got my Dazzle DVC 170 Video Creator Platinum and I have Windows Vista Home Premium and its only good with Windows XP.  So what of heres is past...
  I downloaded the software that came with my Dazzle "Instant DVD Recorder and Studio 10 QuickStart" once this has been done, I tried opening Quickstart and he says its does not work for Vista, but only for XP.  I also tried Instant DVD Recorder and it gave me an error and it says program could not start, closing or something. If, after this, I looked on Youtube to find my answer, and I found the Pinnacle Site to update the drivers.  I did all the updates of software and it did not always work for me... so after that I downloaded other software like start Video Capture and Pinnacle Studio Plus 12, when I used a start, he shut down my computer from one attack and goes into a blue screen, so I tried Pinnacle 12 Studios and did the same thing.  I tried using Windows Movie Maker and when I click the Webcam Capture, he said: it is not all the devices that are on.  I look at my Dazzle and the green lights on, what the devil? I checked Device Manager and it says its there.  But still does not work... Last thing I tried was Picasa 3.  There is a screenshot of the Option of the device... I click it and it says connect to the webcam or device and it gives me a white screen.

  You kind of mutilated the terms, but if the camcorder needs a firewire IEEE 1394, your PC cable card cannot accommodate a.  There may be some devices that claim to USB conversions, but normally, they will not work with a camcorder.  It seems that another PC is going to be necessary or another camera.

  My computer, fairly new and in good enough condition started BSODing randomly 6 times today, without any cause or reason. (Doing different things each time where took place the BSOD)

  I tried to do a system restore to a point a few days ago, that seemed to do the trick until what it happened again.

  I tried to make a report, but when I send it, nothing comes back while I have no idea what is the cause so I can try to determine what exactly is causing the problem so I can fix it.

  I made a lot of changes to my computer recently, updating the BIOS update chipset video card driver update, and so on, so I'm not sure of what could be the problem.

  I googled all of these drivers and they seem to be associated with my Dazzle DVC capture card. Check my device manager and drivers associated with them are verified. I tried to check the latest updates, but they seem to be the most recent files.

  I find that quite perplexed because since I've been streaming for about 3 months now without any problems and then all of a sudden they could cause problems. Although this seem more logically plausible answer. No.Compromise thank you very much for your time and help - it is a great satisfaction.

• Problem with video Capture where the connection settings are unavailable

  I have two capture - Dazzle Platinum 100 and Game2 PC cards. The issue is the same with both, so it must be something to do with a setting on my laptop.  I can't access the setting of the video input in the Capture menu of one of the capture software I've tried. I can select the device in the Source menu, but nothing happens when I click on the menus of the video input (the options are missing). As such, I can't select the composite input. The audio seems ok.

  The xbox and tv are connected using a separator and the component drive with connectors yellow, red and white coming on TV and I tried the two Pal 50 and 60 in the settings menu of xbox. I have set the settings to capture PAL and have also tried all the others.

  I also disabled the webcam and uninstalled the webcam software in the case which has been cause of conflict. The dazzle card detects an entry but cela there is no picture, just a white screen with lines. The dazzle card also caused regular dumps while the Game2PC only gives the incorrect parameter error 0 x 80070057/11878 they both.

  I've now provided all that may be in conflict has been uninstalled. I tried to change the capture settings and they are not available. Device Manager checked again and it appears Windows detects the device as device not video and Audio. Why would you think?

  I solved this by downloading a new driver from the manufacturer's website. The disk driver provided seems to have been inconsistent with Windows and caused the device to be considered an audio device only. Windows drivers has also caused this problem.

  I use a trial version of Photoshop Elements 7.0 (with about 3 weeks before I have to buy or lose it to the left).

  It seems that I'm having a problem of image of my video device Dazzle DVC100 capture

  File > import > Dazzle DVC video peripheral

  The video appears in the window, but I get the following error message when I click on the button "capture":

  "Current driver incorrect STI detected for the video capture device, please re - install the driver."

  I have re-installed all drivers from the manufacturer, twice from disk and once more after you download the drivers from the website of the manufacturer (in case something is wrong on the software CD).  I also reinstalled the program Photoshop with a new copy of the program to download.

  The device works fine in other software programs.  I guess I was able to capture the video in one of them then work with images in Photoshop Elements but I would like to know if this "bug" can be solved somehow.
