Debugging Javascript inside JDeveloper 11.1.1.3

I am trying to intercept method Javascript of ADF listeners of Client calls using Javascript debugging options. I have install JDeveloper, as described in the Oracle JDeveloper 11 G manual. I use Mozilla 3.0.18 for the browser on a Windows XP computer. When I debug the application, Firefox appears. The loading of the page, but the application does not have a break on breakpoints that I know are to be crossed. I get the following error messages in the debugger Javasript tab in the IDE.

"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" "file:/C:/Documents and Settings/jbasiago/Application Data/JDeveloper/system11.1.1.3.37.56.60/o.j2ee/drs/WebAppRunner.html" - oraclejsdebugport = 3379
The debugger is connected to the local process.
Error: Components.classes['@mozilla.org/privatebrowsing;1 "] is not defined in the file: chrome://foo/content/overlay.js line: 161 and position: 0"
Error: gPrefService is null in the file: chrome://browser/content/browser.js line: 3724 and position: 0
Error: Components.classes['@mozilla.org/privatebrowsing;1 "] is not defined in the file: chrome://foo/content/overlay.js line: 312 and position: 0"
Error: Components.classes['@mozilla.org/privatebrowsing;1 "] is not defined in the file: chrome://foo/content/overlay.js line: 312 and position: 0"

When I put a new breakpoint in Javascript, I get this message in the tab IntegratedWebLogicServer debugging in the IDE.

Cannot set the breakpoint (C:\Projects\ADF-Flex-Poc\ADF-Rack\ViewController\public_html\FlexIntegration.js

Any ideas?

Hello

I do that all the time with Firebug in Firefox and it all works well. Note that JavaScript breakpoints must be set on the client side - not the side server.

    Sometimes things do not work, but no errors appear at all.

    You use the new "slog2info" approach to see the log output? I believe that you will see JavaScript errors here as soon as they occur. Have had no trouble with it so far.

  • How to debug javascript/qml?

    is there a way to set breakpoints in qml/javascript and debugging code?

    Normally I can SSH to my Nokia N9 will enable developer mode.

    You should also be able to do it on the playbook:

    And then edit files using vi (assuming that QNX vi?).

    I have yet to try this with my playbook, but I'll do that when I start the porting on BB 10 soon.

  • First 10.3: Debugging JavaScript in HTML Panel crashes

    Since the upgrade to 10.3 first, we noticed that when you debug with breakpoints in JavaScript HTML panels, when execution reaches the breakpoint, the panel all crashes and recharging.

    We did not have this problem the same panel JavaScript code in the first 9.2 debugging.

    This problem seems to occur on the same lines of script, some other lines of script never make the Panel crash.

    All the tested script lines were simple browser JS, no involved NodeJS.

    I tried the upgrade in my version of the ExtensionManifest element manifest.xml and 5.0 to 6.0 RequiredRuntime element, but nothing helped.

    I've not heard or seen such a problem. Please send me your Panel and tell me where to put breakpoints to see the falls.

    Javascript for import processor code is server-side.  Therefore, it does not println in the java console.

    How to debug a process of import or of javascript recognition process?

    Thank you

    you will use the standard recorder instead of the println function. as you say, that only works for running javascript on the client side.

  • Debugging Javascript in Dreamweaver CC

    Hello

    This certainly sounds like a newbee question but here, it will:

    Say I start a new site. I only have one page so far: a Javascript file. I've name it wawascwipt.js. Nothing else. No HTML5, no CSS3, not nothing.

    I want to be able to debug or check my calculations from my code of wawascwipt.js with some sort of console or debugger.

    How the hell can I do in Dreamweaver CC?

    Thank you.

    Dreamweaver displays syntax in code view javascript errors, but it does not include javascript debugging. There are many development environments that include javascript debugging tools.

    You can use the Firefox plugin firebug for javascript debugging. Chrome also comes with a javascript console. You will find under Tools.

    According to Ken, you need an HTML page to launch the script.

    Hello

    A library contains the class files, you must have the source of debug and trace.

  • Impossible to debug javascript

    I'm debugging a javascript of illustrator file by setting breakpoints at critical points in my code. I've included the line

    $.level = 2; // Supposedly full debug mode

    the first line in my script. Now, if I hit a run-time error, the ExtendScript Toolkit is brought to the front and the script appears on the problematic line. In other words, I know that the level setting has an effect (do not put at all gives that no feedback - the script stops silently execution).

    However, are never triggered the breakpoints in the code, regardless if I set to level 0, 1, or 2. How can I get the breakpoints to work? Thank you!

    Figured it out. The debug level must be set to 2, as noted above, and in addition we must launch the script in ExtendScript Toolkit (select Debugging-> run on the menu) and does not start the script of Illustrator.

  • Insert some JavaScript inside a JSPX (JD11.1.1.3.0)

    Hi all
    I am trying to add some javascript on my pages. In particular, I would like to add the javascript popbox to zoom images.

    So I found this page: http://adfcodebits.blogspot.com/2010/03/bit-3-adding-javascript-to-jspx-page.html

    She seems perfet for me. I've added:

    < f: facet name = "metaContainer" >
    < af:group >
    "< afh:script source="scripts/PopBox/scripts/PopBox.js "type =" text/javascript"/ >
    < / af:group >
    < / f: facet >

    the PopBox in slot: public_html/scripts/PopBox/scripts/PopBox.js

    If I sow the generated html code, I saw:

    < head >
    "< link href="/EdvaraTEST-ViewController-context-root/adf/styles/cache/fusion-desktop-ua1gw8-ltr-gecko-1.9.2.3-cmp.css "type =" text/css"charset =" UTF - 8 "rel ="stylesheet">".
    < script...
    .....
    "< afh:script type =" text/javascript"source="scripts/PopBox/scripts/PopBox.js "> < / afh:script >
    < / head >

    So it seems that the system recognizes the < afh:script

    I have tryied with < afh:script rather < script but javascript doesn't work...
    Any suggest?

    So should I use another library?

    Thank you

  • Debugging token is invalid

    This mistake will kill me lol.

    I already signed the file .bar and everything. With the help of "blackberry - deploy - installDebugToken BarFile.bar - XXX.XXX.X.XX - password password device»

    He tells me that...

    Info: Send request: install Debug Token
    Info: Action: install Debugging token
    Info: File size: 275850
    result::success

    While it appears in the game as book

    Debug TokenInstalled

    ValidDebug token is invalid

    Author

    Expiration

    The date and time correspond with my computer exactly. The and are correct. Idk what it could be . Tried to roll several times.

    It seems that your BarFile.bar is not even a token of debugging file.

    You should consult the documentation on that. You must have created a token debugging using "blackberry debugtokenrequest" and specified the PIN code of your tablet. Located in the settings under on-> hardware.

    This will create a file .bar with debugging token inside. It has nothing to do with your application, which is what I guess it is in the file BarFile.bar. You then install the .bar token of debugging with the command that you were trying initially.

    Please read the docs, unless you know all this, and the issue is something else. I just checked with the "-check" command in a file of .bar app and it gave the same results you have seen. On a debug token .bar file he would act differently.

  • Folder level Javascript executes the Menu item, but not button - need a work around... Help, please

    I have a JavaScript that contains a function of confidence with a SOAP operation inside the confidence function.

    This function is inside a folder level script.

    When calling this function to a menu item, it works fine.

    When I try to add and call this function from a button or a Signature field to the title of JavaScript execution when signed, it will not work and I get an error message.

    What I'm missing and there is a work around, I need to run it from a button or a signature field?

    Any ideas?

    How to run privileged Javascript by a button

    //    1.  Need to put the necessary Javascript inside a function in the Javascripts folder

    //    2.  Javascript must be a function of trust

    //    3.  Add the call to the function of trust to the button

    //

    The Code for the button to execute a script Javascript on the Focus of the mouse is-> Trusted_CustomCode();

    //

    The following example is a JavaScript script at level folder for security reasons

    //

    The example code SHOULD BE wrapped in a function of trust which is part of .js in the javascripts folder

    //

    var Trusted_CustomCode = app.trustedFunction (CustomCode);

    function CustomCode() {}

    app.beginPriv ();

    Insert the custom JavaScript Code here

    App.Alert ("this is my custom Code that is running from a button");

  • JavaScript in Captivate 9 project does not run

    I tried for hours to get little JavaScript inside an Adobe Captivate 9 (published in SWF and HTML5), deployed to a web server public project, to run. For help troubleshooting, I wrapped in various stages of the script with console.log ("status"); and even those who are not running.

    A demonstration project file is located here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/6787201/Test%20Interaction%20Data%20HTML5/Test-Interac tion - Data .cptx

    If you look at the JavaScript window, you will notice there is a function call to sendInteractionData();

    This is a custom function to trigger the data in various Captivate variables in a Google spreadsheet, I wrote. It is contained in the index.html page I change after publication. I tested this feature and it works when the values are explicitly defined and sendInteractionData() is called from a static web site... but when it is embedded in the code JavaScript of Captivate, no luck.

    If you are interested, here is the code I have insert to support the sendInteractionData() function:

    Configuration section

    Paste the URL of the WEB service (obtained after you run the command POST > DEPLOY AS WEB APP) in the variable below!

    var WebServiceURL = "mywebserviceurl";

    Do not edit below this line, unless you intend to change the inner workings of the script

    Declaring variables

    var FirstName;

    var name;

    var Email;

    var attribute;

    Function to send data to interaction in the Google spreadsheet. This function must be called by the Captivate player after setting the variables above.

    function sendInteractionData() {}

    Get and set the relevant data from the Captivate player

    FirstName = window.cpAPIInterface.getVariableValue('cpFirstName');

    LastName = window.cpAPIInterface.getVariableValue('cpLastName');

    Email = window.cpAPIInterface.getVariableValue ('cpEmail');

    Attribute = window.cpAPIInterface.getVariableValue ('cpAttribute');

    Send the data to the Google map via AJAX call

    request = $.ajax({)

    URL: WebServiceURL,

    type: 'post',

    data: "FirstName =" + FirstName + "& LastName =" + LastName + "& Email = ' + Email + ' & attribute ="+ attribute.

    });

    Reminder Manager who will be called to success

    Request.Done (function (response, textStatus, jqXHR) {}

    Save a message to the console

    Console.log ("wrote interaction data sheet: FirstName =" + FirstName + "& LastName =" + LastName + "& Email =" + Email + "& attribute =" + attribute + "/ / Message: success!");

    });

    Reminder Manager who will be called if an error occurs

    Request.Fail (function (jqXHR, textStatus, errorThrown) {}

    Logs the error in the console

    Console.Error)

    "Interaction data could not be saved: FirstName =" + FirstName + "& LastName =" + LastName + "& Email = ' + Email + ' & attribute = ' + attribute + ' / / The following error occurred: ' +"

    textStatus, errorThrown

    );

    });

    }

    PS - declaration of a Google spreadsheet should really be standard features now...

    Thanks for your help.

    You really use the listener attached to the window module ready event to ensure that the API is present.

    var interfaceObj, eventEmitterObj;

    window.addEventListener ("moduleReadyEvent", function (e)
    {
    interfaceObj = e.Data;
    eventEmitterObj = interfaceObj.getEventEmitter ();
    initializeEventListeners();
    });

    function initializeEventListeners()

    {

    If (interfaceObj)

    {

    If (eventEmitterObj)

    {

    window.cpAPIEventEmitter.addEventListener ("CPAPI_VARIABLEVALUECHANGED", function)

    {

    sendInteractionData(); }, 'cpAttribute '.

    );

    }

    }

    }
