  Just in a few words: If your laptop is preinstalled with Vista original recovery image please make sure that the HARD drive has two partitions (C and D also check disk management). Windows XP must be installed on the second partition. For the installation of Windows XP Home edition, you need Storage Manager.   This tool will create bootable recovery media that can be used for the installation of original image recovery if there is problem with the installation of image disk HARD recovery or when the drive is defective and must be replaced.
