Defined with RGB color

Hello

I have a color rgb, now I want to set it as g.setColor (?);

What is the syntax to set RGB.

RGB = 196, 31, 45

You must calculate in int and pass to the setColor() method...

Take a look at this to calculate...

I can eyeball of the color and change it using "hue/saturation" but want to be able to use certain RGB numbers.

    Hi Madison,

    Exactly why do you want this fine control of color? The edges of the carpet are not the same as a logo or a piece of the judgment, its will always be carried out by the way light interacts with fibers and cause color variation. What you ask is, however, possible, but not with the RGB color space. If you want precise control of color, you must work with Lab and adjust one, b channels with curves after entering specific pantone values for the edge of the carpet. Even while Photoshop is on the single application around to support the Lab color space, you'll need at some point return to RGB and use Adobe RGB or sRGB to output and as soon as you do that your likely to get a change of color as these spaces are smaller than Lab leading to clipping. Out of curiosity, I played a bit with an image of a carpet and had no trouble get the shades I wanted. You need a mask that is easy and a layer of hue saturation adjustment with redefine enabled. By varying the hue, saturation, luminance and layer opacity virtually any color is possible. I suspect you want absolute solution, but perhaps this chart will give you an idea of what can be done if you like carpet resembling the flower beds

  • problem with the colors when printing to PDF in FM9

    Hello

    We have some problems with printing to PDF with FM9 colors.

    FM document files eps (1) with a green box and (2) a rectangle created with the tools chart FM, filled with the same values of color green (91/0/60/44)

    In FrameMaker both colors is really different, but too bad, in the PDF color (eps) and the rectangle obtained the same correct green color.

    OK, him differed in creation, so they were CMYK and RGB, but your printing coming.

    Now in FM 9:

    (1) if I do a "save as PDF" and turn off "convert to CMYK in RGB" resulting PDF is the same from FM8 (correct)

    (2) if I print to PDF via distiller and set job options for "convert all colors to CMYK" resulting rectangle Green is very different from the greenery of the eps.

    I tried different options, the best result was "convert all colors to CMYK", the other options just very more ugly.

    Does anyone of you know a solution to your problem? The help is very appreciated. I could send examples of files if necessary.

    Thanks in advance.

    PIA,

    This sentence needs some explanation, I think. Why you want to use the print option?

    Using the print option,-you're always going the same route that FrameMaker Win has always been, that uses the postscript RGB driver only Windows. Now with FM9, you have the possibility to get CMYK directly to PDF, as defined, without any color conversion. And it * is * works, as long as you limit your documents CMYK or spot from the FM library.

    So, once again: why do you want to use the print option?

    On a sidenote: I do not know if I interpret your username correctly, but if you are able to understand German, you will find some tests deep color manufactured FM9 here: http://www.hilfdirselbst.ch/foren/FM_9_und_Farben_in_PDFs___getestet_P387800.html

    Hi can someone help me... I try to open my microscope fluorescnece images and they are all just empty black screen while the merged file shows the image. I can't change grayscale in RGB color space (like my single images the info on them is gray and the merged image color space is RGB)

    Try to update your video card driver to exclude

    Then reset your preferences - with Photoshop CC you can do it in the preferences. Earlier versions require that you press the modifier keys that you launch Photoshop. Ctrl alt shift on Windows or cmd opt shift on Mac.

  • How to create a camera profile that works with a JPG image with my color chart to check inside? [was: color Checker chart.] Really need help]

    I got a color chart to check. It came not with any software whatsoever. I shoot my images in JPG format. I know it's not really ideal but I'm on a tight budget and don't have the money for a digital SLR cameras that shoot raw. Is there anyway that I can always create a camera profile that works with a JPG image with my color chart to check inside? My table also includes RGB values below each color. Maybe I can match each color in the photo these values manually? If so how is this done?

    Thank you

    Bryce

    I've never seen software that does what you ask for JPGs, only RAWs.  The main problem is that any profile or adjustment is calculated according a JPG of a particular chart photo would apply to the other JPG photos with the same white balance.

    Jpg does not use "camera profiles" anyway in Lightroom, the profile is always integrated.

    There is a product that allows to calculate the HSL cursor offset values given a JPG photo their own table owner who looked like a color checker, but had two lines reversed so the software could not be used with a standard-checker color, unfortunately.  Now their table has twice as many patches (48), and looking at it on their site I'm not too sure that it does not always work with JPGs or if she's just raw files, now.

    The graphic and software are called SpyderCheckr of Datacolor.  There are various software that do different things, but none are using a ColorChecker, so having one is mainly a loss until you get a camera that can take raw photos, so keep a humidity and temperature controlled environment as much as possible until you have the right camera.  You can probably use the grey patches to adjust exposure, but that's all.

    Today you need not a digital SLR to have raw photos, well.  My phone Galaxy S6 with the last update of Marshmallow and the software of camera update will take photos in format raw DNG in Pro mode which I can create custom profiles camera to use a ColorChecker, although the camera is really good in itself, so when I found everything first he could make DNG I took a little but now, I usually just use the camera to make the jpg unless the shot is really important and the lighting is not too hard.  I think that S7 phone's camera is even better.

    What kind of camera do you have?  Sometimes, there are firmware hacks that allow the camera to shoot raw format even if the standard camera cannot.

  • Need help with LR color management

    Hi, well having had about to master the basics of the LR (point 6.1.1) I am happy that I can now treat my image editing, using a combination of Photoshop/plug-ins LR and LR.

    But I'm not about printing. I installed my new Asus monitor today and after a few hours, that it is fixed; If I take a picture of LR and select "Edit with PSE13" and print from PSE the printed output matches against what I see in LR just about perfectly.

    But if I try to print the image live LR is a mess; black out as a blue greenish, or who are green, bluish, and the whole image seems, well just psychedelic.

    I spent hours on it and as far as I can see the print settings in LR and PES look exactly the same. One thing to add; I print on HP Advanced glossy. In LR so I select that paper it will come out a mess, but if I select plain paper it out OK.

    I installed a .icm for Asus monitor file and I put the sRGB mode.

    In LR, I defined as «managed by the printer» color management

    With the HP printer, well it's not quite like the old days, it seems more automated. Under color management, I chose "ColorSmart/sRGB" which is recommended in the manual.

    Windows color management, I chose Asus PA248.icm for the color profile and sRGB Color Space Profile.icm (sRGB IEC 61966 - 2.1) for the printer.

    Anyone has any ideas on what I might be missing / doing wrong?

    Well, I seem to have gotten almost there now. In EPS, I had always managed by the printer color management. The answer in LR seems LR6 handle color management. I now have a good impression. The color match isn't quite right, with the colors on the impression of being a little more clear/more deep, but I'm sure that if I play with sliders to print setting I will get there. Although once I get the Epson printer with its profiles of specific documents, it may very well be right anyway.

  • Problem with "change color"...

    Hello everyone,

    I have a quick question...

    I inherited a Flash map generator. Basically what it does, is that the end user can submit their own design to create their own exclusive gift/loyalty for the specific brand cards.

    My questions, this is one of the customers of our customers complained that their images colors are not printing as the original works of art. They are subject to CMYK images and Flash Builder map spit card finished in RGB.

    I know that this is how Flash handles the colors. but I wonder if it just what I can do to get the card Flash Builder make output color as close to the colors of the original CMYK image as possible? Photoshop color correction is not an option.

    Thanks in advance for your answers/suggestions. Thank you!!!

    In general, because the two areas do not overlap, you are sure not not to convert all colors to another accurately. At best, you might want to find a library that has a lot of logic by guessing the color appropriate for the conversion from CMYK to RGB. You must then take the bitmap you have loaded and use something like a BitmapData to read the color value of each pixel, translating to CMYK in RGB pixel by pixel.

    I have really great basic example of a function in AS3 Basic CMYK to RGB conversion would be:

    function CMYKtoRGB(c:Number,_m:Number,_y:Number,_k:Number):Object

    {

    var r: Number;

    var g:Number;

    var b:Number;

    r = 255 - (Math.round (2.55 * (c + k)));

    g = 255 - (Math.round (2.55 * (m + k)));

    b = 255 - (Math.round (2.55 * (y + k)));

    If (r)< 0)="" r="">

    If (g< 0)="" g="">

    If (b< 0)="" b="">

    return {R:r, G:g, b: b};

    }

    You would end up with something right, close, in RGB. To convert the RGB in number (converts Flash hex numbers in any case) is as simple as:

    function RGBtoHEX(r:Number,_g:Number,_b:Number):uint

    {

    return of r< 16="" |="" g="">< 8="" |="">

    }

    It returns a number, but still just Flash Converts hexadecimal number in any case. If I used this on the original color to CMYK (c: 0 M:38 Y:100 K:0) he would return (R:255 G:158 B:0) RGB or hex (16752128). However to enter this same color CMYK in an application like Photoshop yeilds quality RGB (R:255 G:174 B:0).

    The difference? Here is a box drawn in Photoshop in CMYK color mode with this next to Flash drawing CMYK color 2 boxes, one with the color of Photoshop converted, second with the color conversion codes above. Photoshop and Flash using the Photoshop color conversion is obviously much better than the result on the right. You just need to be a very solid library for the missing color-space conversion. And even as good as Photoshop, you can still see a difference between Photoshop and Flash together.

  • D700 files shooting in Adobe RGB color space

    I can open my D700 files in Lightroom 4.4 only if it were shot in space color sRGB.  Lightroom does not recognize them if they were shot with the help of Adobe RGB color space.  Is there some update or connect to lightroom that will allow me to open these?  (I downloaded the last 4.4 Lightroom)

    The V1 version of Nikon Transfer is known to cause problems with new camera ships is it surprising that the versions V1, other Nikon software also has problems.

    Irrelevant, other than being a curiosity, is why Adobe RGB is causing a problem when it is not sRGB, but is not something Lightroom is different, this is something the former Nikon software differently for the raw files of the new camera models, change something in the data when the Adobe RGB color space is specified and making them unreadable to Adobe , but not changing is not the same when they are slaughtered in space sRGB color.  Without an analysis of low level file byte-by-byte you probably intend to be able to understand what the Nikon software, but at least you know what it takes to make things work.

    If you have still something that Lightroom has something to do with the origin of the problem, and then copy a sRGB NAVE and a NAVE of RGB Adobe directly from your camera to your computer and without touching either with the Nikon software and make sure that both are important in LR without problem.

    Software from the manufacturer of the device usually does not include another manufacturer raw files because is one of the tasks of the manufacturer of the device software to make the raw JPG in exactly in the same way as the camera and that rendering is exclusive and cannot be known by outside entities.  Software of Canon DPP does not work with Nikon ships, either.  Software of a third party, such as Adobe Lightroom, must be able to work with raw files from various manufacturers for anyone paying attention, but at the price which is specific to a manufacturer like you don't see focus for your ships in Lightroom, but I guess that you can in the NX software which is produced or at least licensed by Nikon.

  • Problem with clip color when you export a sequence

    Work on an iMac i7, CS 5.5

    I created a composed sequence 3 staples. I color corrected the first two (using the RGB curves Corrector) but not the last one. The clips are transcoded DNxHD original AVCHD (which I can't treat gently on my iMac). When I saw and/or make my sequence, the colors are great for all the clips.

    When I try to export it as a Quicktime H.264 movie, the first two clips are rendered as I want to, but the last of them (with no color correction) only has the plan of the blue color!

    I tried to export directly (without delay) or by using the queue of the SOUL, but the results were identical.

    One solution is to 'pretend' to correct the colors the last clip (barely, I adjusted the Red). Then export works very well.

    Sounds like a bug to me candidate!

    Known problem and workaround: movies have a blue cast when exporting through Adobe Media Encoder in Adobe Pro CS5 first or CS5.5

    Hello and thank you in advance,

    The instructions in Mandarin that I could find, say this:

    'Submit your graphics in color space Adobe RGB, integrated withprofile.'

    The big Question: how should I do that?

    I know enough to start with

    File-> Adobe PDF Presets-> print quality

    Then I click on the Menu 'output '.

    and this is where I start to get lost.

    I think I should choose "convert to the Destination.

    for

    Destination

    I think it should be "Adobe RGB (1998).

    Now to incorporate this profile.

    What should I choose in virtue:

    And is there anything else I should do to get these inside good printing color images?

    Thanks again,

    Virtually all digital printing is done via PostScript or PDF. In the first case, the PDF file is converted to use viat PostScript to Acrobat and in the latter case, the PDF file is sent directly to the digital printer.

    In both cases, CMYK is actually the real destination color space. There is no true RGB printer! What is true is that non-PostScript / non PDF (laser printers generally low range and inkjet printers as well as specialized sublimation photo printers inkjet and dye) take RGB via drivers and that convert to CMYK, but I don't think that's what you deal with.

    Our recommendation to Adobe for best printing results, whether for offset or digital, is to export PDF into PDF/X-4 with no color conversion using the default color CMYK (CMYK SWOP) space or if the contrary view of your print service provider, among other CMYK color spaces provided by Adobe or the print service provider themselves. FWIW, more peripheral to digital print on demand, have settings to fully emulate the SWOP CMYK printing requirements. The use of PDF/X-4 in this way allows the existing color in your document InDesign is properly tag in the output PDF file and converted to CMYK RIP the device level digital printing.

    (It may also help us if you can provide a pointer to the explicit instructions provided by your print service provider.)

  • Problems with RGB in Illustrator

    Hello

    I have a problem with the registration of my work that is done in illustrator into PDF file. This work must be saved in the PDF format in RGB color. It seems that I can't do this. Original illustrations were conducted in CMYK mode. Edit/change colors/conversion of JBR option does not work it is that this option is not possible.

    Any suggestions please. Printing company cannot process it if PDF is not in RGB color.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello

    You must first convert your document to CMYK to RGB and then create a PDF file. go in file > Document Color Mode > RGB

    and then the PDF file case.

  • Impossible to use two af:tables with different colors (skins)?

One with black background and white text (header and body) and the other with white background and black text. I tried to use styleClass: are, but the css settings defined for the table of the af are the substitution of those mentioned in the style sheets.

    Anyone with an idea how to solve this problem?

    Thank you
    / Jon-Erik

    Hello

    If the styleClass name is table1 then the skin selector would be something like

    .Table1 af | table

    mul afTable.af: table

    I don't see how this can be overloaded. If you hypothesis is that the style class reference must be to a definition of CSS on the page, then indeed, it does not. The styleClass name is an identifier of type named for the skin component and is used to describe more the component skin
