• Illustrator, says 'Missing Police' while InDesign detects and uses the same fonts OK

  Looks like I'm having some problems with fonts for CC Illustrator on Mac OSX (Mavericks), both new installs.  Specifically, I'm trying to open a .ai file that uses the font "Coolvetica.  Then, I get the error "Missing Fonts" here:

  

  I installed the police and restarted Illustrator:

  

  

  I opened the dialog box "Find fonts" to see that is still missing:

  

  I wanted to check that it was, in fact, installed, then I open OpenOffice and tried it with success.  Also, I opened InDesign and tried it with success.

  I searched the forums for clues.  I found there a CC cleaning tool, if I followed the instructions, making sure to restart my computer and reinstall Illustrator.  Unfortunately, I was met the same problem after reinstalling.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  To recap:

  1.) to open a .ai file that already contains fonts "coolvetica.  In my case, it's a file that has been generated on another Windows computer running an earlier version of Adobe CS.

  2.) get the error message about missing fonts

  3.) install the fonts using the font book

  4.) restart Illustrator and re - open the file

  Expected results:

  Police is correctly

  Actual results:

  I tried to clear the cache of fonts using 'sudo atsutil databases - remove' and restart immediately with no will.  I also gave the thing 'Place' a trial with no will.  However, I did find a resolution!

  In this case, for some reason, I have two different .ttf files "Coolvetica" I installed, both are the value of type 'Ordinary' (see screenshot in my first post).  Even if they are all two "regular", they have a different appearance for them (once again see screenshot above).  I was beginning to think that this double name is confusing Illustrator, so I dug deep enough into it and found that I could change 'Ordinary' to something else so that the name is not in conflict.  "This necessary by using the guide here: FontGeek" TTX helps to rename fonts.  After you run the police through program "ttx", I replace all occurrences of 'Ordinary' with the 'descent' (in reference to the stung 'G') within the generated file .ttx.  I then re - crossing "ttx" program and installed the newly created fonts.  I opened Illustrator and tada!  It worked.

  Ultimately, it seems that the name of type of duplicate fonts was which was missing his shot upward.   I was able to replace the fonts correctly after that.  This could cause headaches for other members in my group because they their policies will have a different name than mine and now they're going will be requested to "Seek a police", but I think that it is a step in the right direction and I can figure the rest out later.

  I'm building a VI aquire sampled under tension of a sensor in continuous mode or finished.  I was going to do this, use a box with a cable of the sample mode of the VI DAQmx calendar entry to the terminal State, the idea being that I couldn't aeither a while looping the case for continuous or simple acquisition according to the setting of this command.

  However, instead of the sample mode provided for in the case of the case statement, I just get 1 and 0.

  It's a good way to achieve this, and if so how can I get my case structure working properly?

  Apologies - I consider that the error is from the data acquisition function? I forgot that she was using the sample entry mode.

  Yes you can.

  When you second the 2nd program it will not work if the 1st program execution, and he has to wait until you have completed the 1st program.
