You need TO uninstall the trial for free and download/run the deletion appropriate before installing any Windows Service Packs or IE Update and before you install a new antivirus application (for example, Avast), which requires WinXP SP2 or SP3 to install anyway.

  • Safe to delete all downloaded programs files?

T saves disk space, I want to delete files progam downloaded all.  Is it safe to delete these files?

    Hello Mdquinn,

I would give this a download try CCleaner link: http://download.cnet.com/ccleaner/?tag=mncol   who is known for his ability to clean up your

computer better than Windows 'disk cleanup '. In regards to the registry cleaner in CCleaner, unless you have above skills and knowledge of computers

or the registry, I suggest you do not to use the Registry Cleaner option. If you use it, then always use the backup feature in the steps before you

clean up the registry in case of computer problems later, so you can restore the registry to its previous state. Hope this helps you. Let us know anyway.

    Make it a great day!

  • I can't delete a downloaded file

Not too long ago I had downloaded quick time (i.e. apple).  I have no more, so I went into the program file to remove and it uninstalled the program.

Later, I went to check the 'view objects' file (tab settings temp and history) and I noticed that there is a file that didn't come off the coast.

Here are the properties of this file:

    Active X Control

Total size: 4,096 bytes (4 KB)

    ID: {02BF25D5-8C17-4B23-BC80-D3488ABDDC6B}

    Base of code: http://appldnld.apple.com/edgesuite.net/content.

How to I get rid of this file?

    Hello

I suggest you perform a disk cleanup and check the status of the issue.

  • Can I delete the download of Service Pack 2 before installing to free up disk space?

I don't think it's a good idea to run Wista without installing SP2 and all the essential and important updates - but the decision is yours.  Here's how to delete downloads prior to installation if thay have not already installed it.

    Stop the automatic updates service

Click Start, choose Run (or type it in the search field).
In the run box, type services.msc.
    Click OK.
    Right-click the automatic updates service.
    Click on stop.
Stopping the service will take a moment.

Delete the content of the download folder
    Click Start. Choose run.
In the run box, type %windir%\SoftwareDistribution
    Click OK.
    Open the download folder.
Delete all the contents of the download folder (or just update you do not want to install)
    Close the window.

    Start the automatic updates service
    Click Start. Choose run.
In the run box, type services.msc.
    Click OK.
    Right-click the automatic updates service.
    Click Start.
Starting the service will take a moment.

By removing the contents of the download folder - you have removed the downloaded updates (or those you selected).

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

Can someone please instruct me on how to remove an application downloaded in error?  Thank you!

From your home screen, go to your list of Applications.  If your phone uses OS 5 from your home screen, you will see Options > Applications.  If she uses OS 6, you will follow the Options > device > application management.  Once you are on your list of Applications, go to the app in question and press the menu key (BB button to the left of the trackpad/trackball).  Select supprimer to delete from this list, press the button and confirm it.  Once the application is deleted, it is not a bad idea to remove your battery when your phone is turned on, then replace it.
