Delete a resource key

Hello

I know that this may be a very basic question, but how do I remove a key in a resource file? I can delete the value, but I would like to delete the key. I have to do it manually, as the modification of the resource with the Notepad file? I already did and I get MissingResourceException.

Thanks in advance

Lucas

in eclipse, you select the key and choose "delete from all" in the context menu.

to do this manually, you delete the key to all the files of the RRC and the same from the HR Manager file.

  • Resource keys are never negative, right?

I was assuming that resource keys are never negative. But I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. Does anyone know if this is guaranteed?

The reason why I ask, is that I got used to build dialogs like this:

    Dialog dlg = new Dialog(title,    new String[] { res.getString(key1), res.getString(key2), /* etc. */},    new int[] { key1, key2, /* etc. */ },    defKey, bitmap, style);

If a key was negative (in particular, - 1), this could be a problem because this is what Dialog.doModal () returns when the user presses ESC.

Yes, your assumption is correct (as far as I know).

I use the same mechanism on some dialog boxes. in the custom classes, I use the int value of a resource as identifiers, for example displayAlert (key1) for my custom class.

  • How to delete a resource pool that is read-only?

An admin on my server ESXi created a pool of test resources and inadvertanly everyone gave read access only.  Now, we can not assigned VM in the resource pool or never remove it.  All admin users have only contextual menus gray when you access that resource group.

Is there way to delete a resource group or change its permissions to access again?

If you have not removed from the local Administrators group - you may be able to a new local user of this group and access it that way - by default from the local Administrators group is given admin access to the upper level of the inventory.

  • Disable the deleted VM product key?

    Greetings

As a noob, I activated a product key Windows Server 2012 in a virtual machine that I used for testing purposes. After screwing up the configuration, rather than go back to a snapshot or reinstallation of the OS, I deleted the virtual machine and created a new. Now I wonder if it is possible to disable the key so that it can still be used? I know there are ways, but everything I have found require me to have access to the machine, I did not...

Any help or advice are appreciated. Certainly not a mistake I'm going to do it again any time soon!

  • I get an error when deleting the keys when I try to delete the registry keys under Vista

I was able to get permissions on the key, but I can't remove key. He said cannot remove the CdRom & Ven_YMAX & Prod_magicJack & Rev_3. 00 error while deleting key

    jcr442

You shouldn't go around deleting keys. Why do you really want to delete this key? What program the key belongs? Uninstall the program only removes the key? Otherwise, try to uninstall it in safe mode, or go to the manufacturer's website to see if they have a problem. They have a tool to remove the application. If the program has recently been installed you can also use system restore to remove it. Thank you, Jeremy M - Support Engineer

  • Cannot delete the registry key

I use Vista as an administrator.  I would like to delete the following: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\USBSTOR\Disk & Ven_RIM & Prod_BlackBerry_SD & Rev_0003.  I right-click and click on delete.  I wonder I want to permantently delete the key and subkeys, click Yes.  I get a message saying ' cannot delete the disk & Ven_RIM & Prod_BlackBerry_SD & Rev_0003: error while deleting key.»

I'm with the right button and go to permissions.  I try to change the permissions for everyone and the OWNER RIGHTS to full control.  I get the message saying "cannot save changes to permissions on disk & Ven_RIM & Prod_BlackBerry_SD & Rev_0003.  Access is denied. »

Should what step I take then to perform this deletion?  Thank you!!!

    crs_unregister < resource name >-

is at the top right of the command to remove the resource?

    Thank you

crs_unregister (and any other utility % crs_) are deprecated.
The best way to remove resources (I think) is with srvctl utility.

  • Why the enter, ESC and delete the off key?

    Hi all

Now that I have the update on my DataGrid and I can select a line using up and down arrows on the keyboard, then I want to confirm my line selection by pressing the Enter key.

But, my interlocutor on the DataGrid control keydown does not see the entrance, escape and delete keys. Most of the other keys is seen. I can browse the list using up and down keys (and I can see my function in the keydown listener are called).

It only happens when I check my IDE Flash application. In debug mode, these keys are taken into account.

My DataGrid is not editable but selectable.

    Any idea?

    Thank you for all

    Try changing tjspRequestShowResolutionTiles.jsp

You can follow these steps to achieve
    1. get the resource instance (it is available on the jsp page, check the page to see how it is used)
2 get the shape of process data using the method of tcFormInstanceOperationsIntf getProcessFormData (id from step 1)
    3. get name the tcResultSet returned in step 2 by using method getStringValue ("UD_NAME") where UD_NAME is the name in the form
    4. on the page, find where targetResourceInstanceKey is printed and replace with the value found in step 3

Let me know if it works

  • Restore deletes the encryption key?

    Hello

I have asked a few people that already, but have not really gotten a yes / no answer. I know using "erase all content and settings ' clears the encryption key of your phone (6 +, existing iPhone running iOS 8.1) but to restore through iTunes does as well? I did a DFU restore both a regular restore.

The phone is broken so I am unable to do anything on the device. I assure you none of my information bank or private photos can be recovered as I return to my operator to get a replacement with their insurance program. Are they renovate and resell it, I want to make sure that nothing can be recovered.

    Thank you

If you have restored your phone as a 'new' device, with the help of iTunes, ALL your data has been erased.

  • Virus deleted the product key

I recently had a virus that has handled a large amount of damage. It was a kind of fake antivirus protection. I managed to clean my computer, but now Win 7 says I'm not more authentic. Unfortunately, it happened the same day as my computer scientist me to update to Win 7 Pro Win 7 Home Premium so now the product key at the bottom of my laptop does not work as it is for Home Prem is there a way to restore my Pro product key or return to the Home Premium and use my old key?

If I have to wait a few days for my computer, the same Pro key it will work?

In addition, unfortunately I couldn't do a system restore because there is no restore point.

    Thank you

You can get the product key Windows 7 Professional from your computer programmer who upgraded your system, or if you have the disc to reinstall the original operating system, Windows 7 Home Premium, you can do a clean install of the operating system and use the product key on the bottom of your laptop.

If you purchased Windows 7 Professional from your computer, it should have left both the installation disc and product key with you sticker.
